Author has written 7 stories for Chronicles of Narnia, Knight Rider, Green Lantern, DC Superheroes, and Mass Effect. I am a female biologist (seeking a career) somewhere between the ages of absurdity and wisdom (where exactly I fall depends on the day). I have no interest in politics (I find it frustrating), I support sustainability (particularly the 'go local' movement), and I am religious (but fundamentalist extremists scare me). I also have an overactive imagination which generally finds its outlet in fiction (both fan and original). I use fanfiction to release plotbunnies and hone my writing skills. And I really need to stop coming up with new stories and finish the ones I already have listed. Oct. '13: Still not dead. Still in college. I plan on updating Justice League: Conspiracy soon (though I'm still stuck on a fight scene), and may start posting chapters to my Mass Effect story continuing the adventures of Gail Shepard (following Taking the Step). Dec. '13: Clearly, Justice League: Conspiracy is not going anywhere soon. I'm taking it down until I can make progress on it again (my apologies to anyone who has been reading it; I'll polish it up before I re-post it). Next time, I should probably make sure that the story is complete, or at least complete enough that I can update it regularly, eh? Learning process, hurrah. Dec. '14: Graduated; yay! Right now, I'm focusing primarily on Mass Effect, so don't expect to see much outside of that one (for a while, anyway). Posting will start when I get the first few chapters polished. Completed Stories: Belief Over Misery - The Chronicles of Narnia. Susan has an encounter with a stranger. Oneshot. Rated K Knight of the New Dawn - Knight Rider. A young woman recruited into a combat and espionage group discovers and reactivates a unusual car--one that will change her life. Modern-day, ignores the new series. Rated T for mild language and peril. Taking the Step - Mass Effect. A girl from the streets; that's all she is. But Gail wants a new life...and ahead of her is a future that's greater than anyone could have dreamed, if she's only willing to take the step. One-shot, will someday be extended. Rated T for brief language. Problem Solving - Mass Effect. The real reason behind Shepard's terrible driving. One-shot, does not fit into any previously-established continuity. Rated T for mild language. Green Lantern: In Blackest Night - Tales of the Prime Universe, Book 1. Miri does not reach Soranik and Kyle in time, and Kyle's ring gets pulled into the Prime universe to fall into the hands of Janet McCullen. Now her universe's sole Green Lantern, she must overcome her fears as the Blackest Night approaches. Birds of Prey: Invasion - Tales of the Prime Universe, Book 2. How do you stop an invading army from another dimension when the only Green Lantern is on the other side of the universe? Accompanied by a naive Blue Lantern and an amnesiac Amazon, Brittany Nguyen and Amber Nelson are about to find out. Sequel to In Blackest Night. Amazon: New Birth - Tales of the Prime Universe, Book 3. It isn't easy being America's most popular hero. Especially if you don't know who you are. Special story featuring Amazon, and I certainly have had some fun with it. Sequel to Invasion. Current Projects: [Untitled] - Mass Effect. A collection of scenes following the adventures of one Commander Gail Shepard, the hero of the Skyllian Blitz and the Battle of the Citadel, as well as the destroyer of the Collectors and the enemy of the Reapers, with a look inside her mind to see why she fights so hard, and why she is such a determined paragon. Also, don't call her Gail. She doesn't like it. [Untitled] - Dragon Age. The story of Glen Cousland and Aerona Mahariel, their closest friends Alistair and Morrigan, and the war they must fight. To be followed by the adventures of Valaina Hawke, pro-mage activist extraordinaire. [Untitled] - Dragon Age (again). Taking place sometime between Origins and Inquisition. An unlikely alliance: a too-serious Dalish mage, a never-serious Rivaini archer, an ex-Carta dwarf rascal, and an often-confused templar take on a corrupt blood mage. Assuming they don't kill each other first. Possible Future Projects: Tales of the Prime Universe has more planned (assuming I actually write it). Still coming: the Justice League, some lost Legionnaires, an army of Manhunters, and the Anti-Monitor, among many others. The current story is Book 4, Justice League: Conspiracy. I'll start posting once I get past a block and polish it up a little. One of these days, you might see a Civil War-era Green Lantern Elseworlds. The Knight Rider sequel is officially on the back burner. I'm not getting much inspiration at the moment, and I'm learning that it's a bad idea to force it. I'll write the story once KITT and Randi come back and give me some ideas. Adopt-A-Plotbunny Center: I have more story ideas than I have time or inspiration to write half the time. The following are stories that I would love to read, but doubt that I could write in a timely manner, or do full justice to the idea. Feel free to adopt one, and I would love the opportunity to read anything inspired by these! Mass Effect: It's generally accepted that if Shepard dies at the end of the suicide mission, the story is over. What if it isn't? With Shepard gone and the Reapers on the doorstep, it's up to a crippled pilot, an illegal AI, the Shadow Broker, and a few traumatized survivors to save the galaxy. Bonus points for bringing in characters like Kolyat and Oriana, hoping to live up to their relatives' legacies. Numb3rs: Set early in season 4, after Colby comes back but before tensions on the team are settled. While the team is working a serial killer case, someone in the Chinese spy network is less than pleased that their spy turned out to be spying on them, and is now seeking revenge on Colby, willing to go through the entire LA office to get it. Throw in the killer targeting Charlie to prevent discovery, and maybe a mole in the office, and have fun. Green Lantern: What if Alexandra DeWitt survived the attack by Major Force? How would her presence effect the ensuing course of events? And if she gained superpowers of her own, what kind of trouble would she and Kyle Rayner get up to together? Inspired by the Green Lantern: Circle of Fire miniseries. Disclaimer: I really don't see the point of these. The very fact that this is a fanfiction website (it's right in the title!) makes it clear that none of us own anything we're writing about, save for some names and ideas and plotlines. However, at the risk of being redundant, I will say that I do not own any of what I list above or publish below. Now that we have this out of the way, I return you to your scheduled programming. |
