Post Dark World As Jane goes to leave Asgard something unusual happens causing her relationship with Thor to end and her life to change. What will Loki do now that his life is linked to the mortal Jane Foster? Will they play nice or just kill one another? DOWN FOR REWRITE

Jane makes the choice to become one of the long lived, but standing before Odin during the ritual, she has more questions than answers. Why is everything in the ancient language? Why won't Thor translate? Why wouldn't he tell her what the ritual entailed in advance? And why is Loki standing beside her, chained and muzzled, giving murder-eyes to Thor and Odin?

"Because what you really want more than the power, more than the glory, is to be better than Thor in every way. You want to possess everything that he once held dear until it is yours and yours alone. And there remains only one thing in the nine realms that once belonged to him and still eludes your grasp."
