Author has written 7 stories for Bones, Monkees, NCIS, Monty Python, and Web Shows. About me: Right, well. Basically I'm a fan of The Monkees, Portal 2, Sherlock, The Hobbit, LotR, Doctor Who (10th Doctor) David Tennant, Martin Freeman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Top Gear, Craig Ferguson, Black Butler, Death Note, and especially Rhett and Link. There are other things to... but that's a general idea of me. My writing - Past, Present and Future:
NCIS: I used to RP as Tim McGee on MySpace. I put some of it into a story but stopped because it was far to tedious. Shortly after my writing partner and myself ended up stopping the RP simply because we didn't have time. I was told I catch Tim exceptionally well and also am very good at writing the team. It's unlikely I will ever write in this fandom again as I don't watch the show. I still love Tim... but I feel I need to be up to date to write. If I come back to this, I will likely just rewrite the RolePlay into a cohesive story instead of back and forth. Pirates of the Caribbean: This was the first thing I ever wrote for. I RPed as Captain Jack Sparrow. I am not ashamed to say that I was often seen as (one of) the best Jack RPers in the whole run of RPing on MySpace. I was the best during the time I was there although I was usually a bit picky about what I wrote and who it was with. Thanks to Jack, I got into writing. I made an entire back story of him and created my own feel to him. I had a good lot of stories based on creating my version of him. Unfortunately those were all saved on MySpace and the site in it's brilliance destroyed everyone's blogs. Though it's, again, unlikely I will ever write in this fandom again. I didn't like the 4th movie very much and have yet to bother with the 5th. I haven't felt the spark of that universe in a long time. Other: Thanks to having RPed I also wrote as my own characters in various situations, though never as stand alone stories. Some of thes characters include: David Turner (William Turner's son, from PotC), Fang, who is my own character from my own entire universe I created. If I ever become a professional writer, it'll be with her. Roleplay: I used to Role Play on and off, and some of those stories created versions of characters that would be good in stand alone stories, though I never got the spark to do so. I also had until recently been role playing with someone in the Rhett and Link universe a lot. We had created a wonderful ship and multiple universes, but that person abandoned me and my desire to write has suffered dramatically Present: Rhett and Link: Current Fandom. I post most of my stuff on Ao3 however because of the incredible censorship and restrictions on this site. Author Name over there is WolfSpirit00 and I have a few shot and one long story currently up. Future: Rhett and Link: I plan on making a sequel to one story I have already written, plus at least a two part story for one I have yet to start. There are some smaller drabbles and ideas I also have, but these are the main ones. About my writing: My writing is generally darker. It's rare I'll write anything other then angst of some kind and some level. Sometimes (increasingly more often, in fact) things may become very bloody and controversial. You can automatically assume there will be swearing in my stories, as I feel that if a character might cuss, I have no problems writing it, even in a light hearted story. Compared to the rest of what I write, this is small stuff. I will not usually write slash or any sort of pairings of any kind. When I do decide on relationships I like, it's usually born out of a very rare Roleplay and even when that roleplay officially is over, I can't bring myself to make a new one. On top of that, I find the beauty of friendship and the sacrifice that has no reason outside of 'being friends' a much more powerful and beautiful thing then a romantic relationship. Friends love each other and stick together through the hardest of times just because they want to, while relationships still have even a small amount of sense of responsibility to each other. My reading: I'll read in many fandoms, including ones that aren't listed up top of this. I like only a couple kinds of story genre - I love a dark story. My favorite (but rare to find) story is one that involves torture and angst to my favorite character (who is the main character/victim) but ends with a good ending. Or at the very least an ending that is looking up. I won't read death-fics or ones that leave lasting damage to the character (such as blindness... missing body parts... serious mental scarring and so forth) |
