Updating a few couple preferences and moved an in-progress story down to the "completed" area. Also tweaked some of the verbiage from the recent "completed" entries as well, as it's no longer that helpful to order stories based on the Stevidot Month roster, as I've made at least 3 stories outside of that set now. And there will be more to come in the future.

So, what can I say? I've been writing fanfiction for years, even before the advent of the internet. Due to my apparent lack of ability to care for anything I create by myself, it's likely I'll stay in fanfiction as far as my writing "career" is concerned. It doesn't matter how old I get; I have very little shame. But I'm a 34 year-old female, if you're that curious. I also have a habit of being rather long-winded with my writing, and the profile is no exception, so if large bios somehow upset you, please be a reasonable, mature person and just hit the "Hide Bio" button hovering somewhere above this profile.

This profile also serves as my reference sheet, kind of. With the fandoms I've been involved with over the years, I find it convenient to record my particular tastes here if I need to reference them in the future. It especially helps if I haven't been involved with the fandom for years and intend on returning. I would say it's highly unlikely that I will actually write for every fandom I'm interested, but I do read for most of them, which might be nice if any other authors stumble into my profile and have written fanfics suited to my tastes. ... It also helps dodging the ignorant requests when I lay out my ground rules. I'm sociable enough, so don't hesitate to contact me if you so desire.

As far as my fanfiction ethics go... well, in addition to the long stories, I tend to lean towards unofficial continuations, AUs, and crossovers. Most likely, there is a lot of drama to be had, but now and then, maybe some adventure or severe psychological experiences as well. I'll do friendship and romance; boy/girl, girl/girl, boy/boy is all the same to me, so I've got broad horizons in terms of pairings. I'll even consider incest. Canon, fanon, or crack also doesn't matter to me; they're all equal and fair play in fanfiction as long as they're written well. And I've seen that anything can be written well just as easily as they can be written badly. That doesn't mean there aren't pairings I don't like, however. I usually have some kind of logic behind what I dislike, so it's rare that I ever change my mind about it. However, I believe all views have a place here, so I tend to ignore what I don't like rather than flame over it.

Same is said for characters, in a sense. I'm not about to pretend to be omnipotent and like every single character ever made. Some are just inherently annoying whilst adding nothing to the story, others were poorly handled in canon, et cetera. At the same time, I'm not about to cry for the cases of character-bashing. Most of the time it's poorly done by the author, but often said author isn't making a good story as it is, so it seems silly to focus on the character-hate aspect. However, I think the idea of defending characters is somewhat ridiculous considering that they aren't even living, breathing people. I'd find it much more healthy to vent my frustrations and hatred over something that's not even alive rather than fixate on a real life person. And believe it or not, I've seen rare cases of character-bashing where it's done tastefully, humorously, and is even well-written and doesn't ruin the story. As for how that translates into my writing, I don't think I've had to deal with a character I outright hated for many years. Chances are, should I come across that situation now, I'd probably have the character written out of the story. That's only for an extreme case, though. Most characters I don't like don't bother me to the point of utter avoidance.

I'm very focused on keeping the characters in-character for every story, though many plot elements may dictate some sort of addition/adaption, which I figure is normal for fanfiction, anyway. The only people I don't really like are purists, as I think they're little more than party-poopers. Thankfully, most true purists probably wouldn't be caught dead on this site... the ones here who claim to be purists are usually the ones with really convoluted ideas about what pairings are canon and such. I don't concern myself with that.

Anyway, my tastes per fandom might be a little unorthodox, so I hope the general public can enjoy what I have to offer! Lastly, my writing spells are somewhat unpredictable, so there might be a time where I'm churning out stories by the chapter, and then there might be months where I go without submitting a thing. I have something of a "I Write When I Feel Like It, No Sooner, No Later" policy, so it's not advisable to be holding your breath for my incomplete works.

Digimon Tamers: By My Decision – After Chapter 5, things will slowly start turning dark, and I’ll have a tie-in to the later parts of the 02 season (which will be completely unlike the crossover I’m doing in GV; most likely none of the Adventure-season characters will be appearing, but references to them might be made), where from then I’ll be changing things from how that ended out and this fic has completely turned AU. Though moreso on the Adventure side of the story rather than the Tamers side, since I actually included the actual ending of the TV series and Movie 6 into the continuity. WWE: The Legend of the WWE - A crossover/parody between WWE and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Basically, the WWE characters in the Zelda setting and plot. The story focuses on Shelton Benjamin and his destiny to overcome the odds and bring peace to the harsh times fallen on WWE and all its proprieties. With Stephanie McMahon as his unwilling and annoying sidekick, Shelton travels to all areas of the business, meeting new people and learning new techniques, and together with the Six Wrestling Legends and Trish Stratus, embarks on a quest to free the company from the hands of the corrupt Vince McMahon.

Pokémon: Travels of the Trifecta! - A story based on the Diamond & Pearl anime, centered on Paul. It will also heavily feature his older brother, Reggie, as well as their father (for this story, at least), the Frontier Brain, Brandon. Brandon gives out a challenge to both of his sons to earn his Brave Symbol, but only once he finds Regigigas, and in Paul's case, only after he completes the Sinnoh Leage as well as the new Battle Frontier. Watch how pitifully I try to stay faithful to the ongoing anime as I chronicle Paul's journeys alongside Ash's. Ash and the gang likely will only be making cameos until later on.

Steven Universe: Odds, Ends & Friends - A continuation of the GA continuity picking up shortly after where This is Who I Am left off. Just a collection of lower-key character development and relationship-bonding stories while Steven and Peridot recover (and constantly run into roadblocks to even have that much done for them). Most stories focus on the building relationships between Steven, Peridot, or 5XF with the other characters, but now and then there will be chapters dedicated to those outside that trio.

It's almost at the end of its second story branch at the time of writing, and now that I've dropped the bombshell on the persisting mystery that's been going on since the first chapter, odds are it's about to wind down. This is basically the cooldown/filler arc before the CGs take on Gypsum.

South Park - Brotherly Love: First South Park fanfic, started when I was 13 years old in the 7th grade. When I finished it, I was 15 years old and a Sophomore. That automatically makes the fanfic crap, but it's the longest one I've ever written, and the first multi-chaptered story I wholly completed. It's a basic South Park story with a plot ripped from the movie, The Chipmunk Adventure. Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny are in a worldwide scavenger hunt travelling via hot air balloon to ensure their 3rd grade graduation. All the while, Stan and Kyle endure the fun and hardships when they find out they're actually related by blood as brothers. Lots of violent angst and all that good stuff. (DELETED)

South Park - Built By Hope, Bound By Chance, Divided By Dreams: Fic made in Summer 2000 because a Mary Sue in my head wouldn't leave me alone while I was visiting my local aquarium. The fic features the entire 3rd grade class having to attend that same aquarium on a field trip, and along the way, Kyle meets an underaged laborer named Karen whom he falls in love with and in turn becomes a lame, lovesick little sissy. It's up to Stan and Kyle's other friends to help snap him out of it before they leave the aquarium. Even though I might've SAID the fic wasn't meant to spite the fankid Mary Sue girlfriends, that was obviously a lie... (DELETED)

Dragon Ball Z - Bruised Ambitions: Written in Summer 2002, when CN was rerunning the old DBZ episodes and I was struck with nostalgia of back when I actually liked DBZ during the time when those episodes were remotely new. None of that Super Saiyan crap. So I wrote this all in one night. Grammar could've been better. This takes place very early in the Freeza saga, kinda AUish. Also my first real shot at writing prose, and from a character POV. Basically, Krillin's thinking about Bulma. A lot about Bulma.

Digimon Tamers - Complimentary Colors: Christmas 2002. I wrote it because I wanted there to be a Christmasy Jenkato fanfic for the year, and it turns out this was the only one that wound up existing. Beyblade - We Lie, We Cheat, We Steal!: June 2004. One of my one-shots completed in about the span of half a week. Done for Livejournal's beyblade_yaoi's Random Pairing Challenge where I ended up randomly drawing Ozuma x Carlos to write or draw. I chose write. Added some other stuff to keep up the flow, and generally had fun (though the pressure was on since it had a due date) with my first written fiction for Beyblade and getting used to writing some characters that I've liked. Also writing a character I've never seen on the screen before (Carlos) so in a way it's kind of one of my landmark fics. Title is based on a lyric from the entrance music to Los Guerreros from WWE Smackdown.

Tales of Symphonia - Before the Turning Point: March/April 2005. My little twist on a What-If situation between two specific scenes of the game where Genis actually confronts Mithos with a fear of his before being able to confirm it. As I feared, a debate broke out in the middle of the fic where I didn't want it to. Otherwise, this turned out to be an extremely creepy story and has looots of evil undertones of morally unsound things! It was a hassle to write, especially when I had the story details of the game to work out and events to put in order, but I think at the very least it was a well-strived effort.

Tales of Symphonia - Bound for Better Days: August - October 2005. Another twist I play, regarding the history of the Sage family. The story takes place 2 years after the game, and Genis and Raine are still on their journey to eliminate half-elf discrimination. One lonely day, while Raine is busy, Genis wonders about his mother, Virginia, and decides to give her a chance to reconcile with her family, using the logic that everyone from Exire will eventually be liberated from their prison when the campaign becomes a worldwide success. Acting as someone else, Genis has a very deep and involved discussion with Virginia and soon learns the ugly facts of his family that his sister Raine worked so hard to keep him ignorant of. The things Genis will learn will alter the way he looks at his own life completely, but that's the price one must pay for an incurable curiosity. This... was a nightmare to make, especially in writing Virginia... but I was so happy that I could dig so much out of a family history just by using a little creative thinking. Despite the title, this is a very depressing story that only hints that things will become better at the very end. It depressed me, anyway. We'll see how it affects you.

Tales of Symphonia - Earrings: October 2005. Short story I wrote for a picture I drew. It was the kind of fanart that needed some kind of explanation, so I decided to honor it with a cute little non-serious story. Plus, I wanted the excuse to write some Genis/Seles interaction without having a huge responisbility in keeping an elaborate plot strung together. It's 4 years post-game (ignoring the sequel, since this was written before the sequel was announced), so it's typical innocent teenage banter over some material possessions, and the cruel world of business. Some frustrations from my last job might actually be leaking out here... this marks another fic I've done that heavily involves a character I never got to see much of: Seles. So I was more writing my interpretation of her based on what little I know of her personality and history, and hopefully I wasn't totally off the mark.

Tales of Symphonia - Uncommon Knowledge: November-December 2005. This was for Arivess as part of the Tales of Symphonia Secret Santa Exchange (on the Livejournal community). Because of my limitations (and an impending deadline), I couldn't give her exact request, but I based the story around an idea that hasn't been well played upon by the rest of the fanbase, so it's kind of nice in an "Oh, I went there" way. After all the Genis-centric stories I've made, writing for him has become relatively simple. For Kratos, it's nearly the opposite, and I could barely get through a whole line of his dialogue without having to double-check myself. I'll make sure to keep his roles in future stories to a bare minimum because of this... even if I'd be a lot more popular if I wrote about the character that EVERYONE seems to love...

Steven Universe - Gem Ascension: January-March 2019. During my stay at home following the government shutdown that happened late last year, I eventually got around to binging SU (which I had stopped following after I ditched my cable for streaming services, so... still during early-mid season 1). I dreamed up certain scenes, and after reading certain fanfics, was compelled to bring out my own vision of Season 5's conclusion. Act I was completed before Change Your Mind aired, and I was already well underway with Act II after the fact. Following Act II's completion, I started and completed the fic below before officially finishing this story off with Act III. Not sure why Fanfiction.net fudged with the numbers, but this initial story was really around 190k words. Combined with the fic below, I wrote over 265k words of story in a little over 2.5 months. Don't ask me why and how it happened; I'm still extremely confused about that. This fic is very exceptional for being the product of a phenomenon that has never happened to me in my 20 years as an author.

Oh right, what this thing's actually about: this story is basically my vision of how Season 5 ends after the first few minutes of Change Your Mind (basically, Blue Diamond's face turn) where the protagonist and central focus of the story is none other than... Peridot. She and her ragtag Crystal Gem B-Team (which INCLUDES Greg, unlike CYM) set out to rescue the OG-CGs. Peridot herself becomes a legitimate team leader for once; there's a lot of focus on transitioning her from comic relief to an honest-to-stars hero protagonist (who can still provide comic relief, of course). "Gem Ascension" is in reference to Peridot climbing up the ranks in her own team, but later applies to Peridot as a whole as it's revealed much later in the story that she really is far more than just an ordinary Era 2 Peridot. On top of that, there's focus on Peridot bonding with her team of Lapis, Bismuth, and Greg... and of course her badly-hidden affection for Steven (who is effectively the deuteragonist of this story). It should be stressed that there are major characters who permanently die in this story, as well as certain villains who don't get redeemed (or at least redeemed so easily like in CYM). By the end, life for the CGs is drastically different from how it is post-CYM and beyond, and also doesn't wrap up every little loose end... meaning there are a lot of dangling plot threads to easily continue this story, which you'll see from the list below has been done to some extent. This fic spawned my GA continuity, and almost every SU fic I've written since this one has exclusively taken place there.

If you're interested in actually following this chronologically and would prefer to read this giant story in a way that's better-formatted (aka more chapters, but quicker to get through), I highly suggest reading the AO3 version of the story. My SU stories are overall better organized in AO3 since it has a series collection feature. Many of my post-GA stories are released out of order due to the circumstances they were created in (aka: Stevidot Month prompts), so it's understandably a pain to get through this continuity in the correct order. Still, I insist on reading GA before reading any of my other SU stories save for Bottled Up (the only one that takes place prior to GA) to minimize confusion and spoilers.

Steven Universe - Peridot: The Final Logs: February 2019. This is an interquel/midquel, set between Gem Ascension Acts II & III. Another reason I urge you to read the AO3 version of the above is because this story has actually been bumped up to become the official Act II of Gem Ascension, but that change isn't reflected here due to this site's limitations. So, yeah. If you insist on reading here, your best experience is to stop reading GA after Act II, read this in full, then read GA Act III.

I originally meant for it to be side-stories in the GA continuity, but it became too prevalent to just label it as side material/optional reading. The format of this also came to me in a dream, as the running theme here involves video logs from Peridot in every chapter. Each vlog is meant for a certain Crystal Gem, and there's even one for Greg. These chapters detail pretty much everything Peridot ever wanted to express or get off her chest to who she's addressing, so she spares no details and pretty much lays out her entire life story on the table (as much as she would know between Act I and the opening of Act II, at least). A very distraught Steven doesn't want to watch the video Peridot made for him, so Amethyst organizes a group project to help snap Steven out of it. Once that's done, everyone makes plans for one final return trip to Homeworld... which is covered in GA Act III.

Steven Universe - Bottled Up: May 2019. All stories from here until My Time is Now are my written prompts for Stevidot Month 2019. This was my first time actually participating in an event like this, and surprisingly I managed to get something for at least one prompt every week. Due to the order of which the prompts were designated, these stories were largely released out-of-order in terms of the continuity's chronology. For the sake of consistency here, I'll be listing the stories as they were completed rather than where they fall on the timeline, but I'll be sure to notate where exactly they fall in said timeline. Again, AO3 has a function that has done this before me if you just want a quick answer.

Unlike the following stories, Bottled Up can be read as a standalone independent from Gem Ascension, as it's the only story that takes place before the main GA series. It's still canon to GA because it has been referenced in other stories, but this is easily my most accessible SU story for those who don't feel like getting into the trainwreck that is the GA continuity.

This story takes place between "The Question" and "Made of Honor" during Season 5 and covers something canon largely neglected: Peridot's role in learning about the Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz stuff, as well as how she takes the news when Steven tells her about talking to the departed Lapis who had been hiding out on the Moon since leaving in "Raising the Barn". I suspect even Season 6 will gloss over this, so I wanted to give my take on how Peridot really feels about the prospect of Lapis returning before it happened in "Reunion", as well as the full extent of her feelings about Lapis abandoning her in general. I really wanted Peridot to show more than just sadness and misery over Lapis leaving in canon, so this story gives a much deeper range on how Peridot really feels about Lapis now, as well as how it's forcibly jaded her perception of life for fear of being hurt again even if Lapis did come back. The only reason she hasn't completely broken down at this point is because Steven hasn't abandoned her; now it's Steven's turn to make time for Peridot after neglecting her for so long. He's there to hear her out, console and reassure her, and most importantly help Peridot let out the MASSIVE amounts of stress and anger she's forcibly kept inside of her this entire time for fear of those negative feelings causing her to lose the rest of her friends. There's a good life lesson in here that you should always seek out a healthy way to vent any anger, frustration, stress, or hatred if it's overwhelming you. Repressing it is the last thing you should do; eventually you won't be able to hold it in any longer, and odds are you won't be able to control it when it does finally break out... and it stands a good chance of hurting someone then.

This is also my only SU fic where you can argue the Stevidot is entirely platonic. But that's only if you read it as a standalone. Otherwise, it's just a precursor for the loads of Stevidot to come.

Steven Universe - It's a Birthday, Yes It Is: May 2019. Takes place 3-4 months after Gem Ascension, which currently makes it the sixth story in the Post-GA continuity chronologically. The two stories that come after this are distant sequels set specifically from when this one takes place (rather than GA itself), so you can argue this one is even the first of its own trilogy.

A two-shot fic that is basically first-time sex as a birthday present. In GA, Peridot figured out what her date of emergence on Homeworld equates to in Earth time, thus she now has a birthday on August 27th. So this actually takes place on her birthday (with Steven's, happening less than 2 weeks prior, being referenced a lot). She's also had her age confirmed in the GA continuity, so settle down. For this fic, she turns 14 years old while Steven recently turned 15. Due to the state of Earth post-GA and the great deal of everyday burdens and responsibilities the Crystal Gems shoulder since the end of GA - with Steven and Peridot specifically being the figureheads of the new Era 3 operation - it's left the two of them very burned out. The events of GA has basically forced Steven to grow up far quicker than he should, and Peridot's been going through the equivalent of that in terms of her overall maturity; long gone are the days where they can lounge about with all the free time in the world and just do whatever they want.

A few months of this has made them both desperate for each other, as the work has cut into their dating time and overall opportunities to just hang out. So, while they know they're moving too fast, they're also acknowledging the state of the world post-GA is pretty much forcing them to feel this way; they've long had their resistances worn down. So, both chapters contain explicit content to various degrees. However... it doesn't really end the way you think it would. And if you read all the way up to the end, you'll find that Steven and Peridot are fully aware of the consequences they'll face from their peers when they come back home after this. This is overall definitely not portrayed in a positive light; it just highlights the unfortunate reality of teenagers being stupid slaves to their hormones (well, Steven's got that excuse at least...).

Steven Universe - Peri-dise: The Capitalist Anarchy: May 2019. Takes place a month or so after Gem Ascension, making it the fifth story in the overall Post-GA continuity (originally the fourth before Odds, Ends & Friends was written).

This fic was for Stevidot Month's video game prompt, and I had so many ideas on how to utilize that concept. I wanted to do more than one story for this prompt, but couldn't get it done. Anyway, this is basically Steven and Peridot having some fun during one of their rare, short-lived breaks from their Era 3 duties in which Peridot plays the real-life game Citystate to experiment how a society would run with virtually no laws and the government is utterly powerless with barely any authority over anything. While this is largely driven by escapism, Peridot desperately wants to believe they can run Era 3 as an anarchy if it runs as well as it surprisingly ends up doing in Citystate. Not only would it foster trust between the Homeworld gem refugees and the Crystal Gems, but it would give Peridot and Steven more time to be together.

Poor Steven is stuck being the voice of reason here, making sure Peridot isn't completely delusional with her fantasies. But he is surprised how much Peridot's anarchist citystate is booming with virtually no crime, everyone's happy, and almost every citizen profits so much from Peridot's decision-making to the point where the upper class becomes the majority. Despite Steven's reservations about Peridot's morally questionable decisions and motives, he ultimately decides to pitch in and give Peridot advice on how to maintain her city. The pair also take time to reflect on how much their lives have changed over the past month.

It's worth noting the entire fic is heavily based off a Youtube video where this exact scenario is run in Citystate by Youtube content creator GrayStillPlays.

Steven Universe - This is Who I Am: May-August 2019. Starts 4 days after Gem Ascension spanning across 3 days; chronologically, it's the third Post-GA story.

It was originally a one-shot meant to flesh out Peridot Facet-2F5L Cut-5XF (called 5XF for short from here on out); a character who appeared in one scene with Ruby midway into Act III. She appeared in It's a Birthday, Yes It Is - and knowing she would appear while making that story, this one was an attempt to give her more of a character so I'd have something to go by for the latter story. This... didn't serve the purpose that well for the one chapter I had at the time while I finished the birthday fic, but 5XF ultimately became a very significant OC in the GA continuity as the story progressed. As far as non-fusion/alternate form OCs go, she's by far the most developed and will be used in future stories. Most are content to just refer to her as Peridot's older sister (by 6 seconds).

The actual premise of the fic is that Peridot and Steven are taking a week-long vacation around the world with no one else but each other for company. Said premise is actually developed in the story below, but the gist of it is that all the CGs need some time to rest and relax after their hellacious experiences endured throughout the main GA series. Steven and Peridot are finally able to enjoy time alone together in a safe, peaceful environment, were only allowed this privilege under one condition: taking along the bubbled 5XF with them and letting her out before the end of the week. This will give Steven and Peridot a preview of what fresh hell awaits them when they actually start the Era 3 project. When 5XF is let out, she's naturally very uncooperative and distrusting of Steven and Peridot.

This story not only centers on how Steven and Peridot have to work together to help 5XF acclimate to Earth and help her understand the concept of living a free life, but also some of the couple's own dynamics. They actually have a bit of an argument in the first chapter; 5XF uses her deductive skills to tell Steven that Peridot is still hiding something about herself despite the assumption that the pair had no secrets left to hide. This leads to a fully-detailed flashback of how Peridot actually first met Jasper and Lapis (a topic most of my readers want some follow-up on, which'll happen in another story someday). Then 5XF proves how much Steven and Peridot suck as babysitters when she gets into a whole new world of trouble as the existence of a new active corrupt gem is revealed. Steven and Peridot undergo possibly the most sadistic trial I've ever put any character through, and the experience wears them both down to the point that they have to leave 5XF in Sphalerite's hands. However, Steven and Peridot's fusion is the one who finally helps 5XF appreciate and adjust to Earth life... and a lot more than that. Ultimately, the unresolved matter of the new corrupt gem, Gypsum, delays Era 3 once more as the gems resolve to neutralize her as a threat before they really get to work. Also, messy relationship drama and some revelations on how gem reproduction works in this continuity and why it even exists when it's always been illegal on Homeworld.

Steven Universe - Plans Change: May 2019. It takes place a few hours after Gem Ascension, making it the second story in the Post-GA continuity chronology.

This is just a short story where Peridot and Steven worry about not being ready for Era 3 and their load of new responsibilities, considering they've had virtually no breaks since this Homeworld mess began, everyone's fatigued to some degree, and Peridot's one of their most-needed participants... while she no doubt needs to recover more than anyone else. The pair agree to voice their concerns to Garnet. It turns out this was a secret test for Peridot, as Garnet was waiting for her to protest this decision. Then she would determine if Peridot would be worthy of becoming a permanent co-leader of the Crystal Gems; an offer which Peridot accepts. Garnet officially gives everyone a week's vacation to do whatever, and for the privilege of having an unsupervised world tour, Garnet tasks them with the bubbled 5XF, instructing them to let her own before the end of the week to get her adjusted to Earth so Steven and Peridot will know what they're in for.

Steven Universe - My Time is Now: May 2019. Takes place about 30 minutes-1 hour after GA, making it the first story taking place after Gem Ascension.

So, if you read GA in its entirety, you'll know I trolled everyone when it ended with Steven and Peridot successfully fusing... only to get no visual, no name, and nothing more than an acknowledgement that they succeed. I have since managed to design my own Stevidot fusion with a name and abilities and everything. Only problem is a lack of personality, but that's perfect for her introductory story.

Yeah, this story is basically showing off Sphalerite until it's revealed that Steven and Peridot are too excited to really sync up properly, making it impossible for Sphalerite to focus after a while. She instructs Steven and Peridot to work on that before they fuse again, and the fusion disperses. The rest of the story is Steven and Peridot reflecting on their achievement, the hurdles they still need to overcome, the challenges that lie ahead... but at least rest easy knowing Peridot can fuse as herself, after worrying for so long that she couldn't.

Steven Universe - Our Tomorrow: August 2019. Takes place exactly 1 year after It's a Birthday, Yes It Is.

Around the time I wrote this, Steven Universe: The Movie was a few days away from airing. It was also shortly after my dad's 60th birthday, which just so happens to be the same day I assigned a birthday to Peridot. So I was compelled to write a short, sweet Stevidot where for once I didn't torture either of them and they had a genuinely good outing where they got a glimpse of a possible distant future of theirs. This is based on a dream Peridot tells Steven about in GA Act II's final chapter, and it's been mentioned in the main GA series itself that Steven started having the same dream after learning this. So, I thought it'd be cute if Peridot and Steven, after their miserable birthday last year, opted for something a bit more hopeful where they're married with kids. I still don't know if this is going to end up being GA's canon future or not; I guess time will tell. Still, this dream takes place 15-20 years after the present day timeline.

Steven Universe - Equal Partnership: January 2020. A two-shot Stevidot smut taking place 1 year after Our Tomorrow (2 years after the present day GA canon). Basically done because I wanted to write a present for myself and because I've been pretty cheap about offering Stevidot smut in the past, so for once I wanted to give what I'm advertising. Basically, Steven and Peridot are determined to make up for their embarrassing first attempt for their "first time" by doing it properly now that they're a bit more mature and skilled. However, a new layer is added to this: since the properties of gem reproduction were revealed in This is Who I Am, Steven's been a little obsessed with the idea of swapping sexual roles/positions with Peridot, even though the latter has struggled to maintain control over that part of her anatomy even after 2 years of experimentation/exploration. While mistakes are still made (they are still rookies at this, after all), they manage to successfully make love in both scenarios.

Also involves the two now being an engaged couple.

The first chapter was posted on by birthday (January 11th); the second came out on the 1-year anniversary of Gem Ascension's publishing (January 20th), so this literally was a story fueled by celebrating self-indulgence.
