Author has written 8 stories for Dragon Ball Z. Not new here. My goal is to be a successful writer and here is where I can let go of my own ideas. The account is new but I've been on this site for almost ten years now. Starting fresh. Completed Work(s) Battles of a God and mortals: This two part story focuses on the Future Trunks timeline in where Beerus still has the prophecy of having to face an adversary that is said to challenge him. However, here, Son Goku and Vegeta are dead, killing the chances of there being a Saiyan ritual so that a Super Saiyan God can be born. Instead, Beerus has to find his adversary in a different manner, to eventually fighting a mortal who has the power of a God, despite said mortal not even having God Ki. Read up on how Beerus meets his prophesied challenger here in this future timeline. Picking up a habit: This one-shot story is revolves around Vegeta, who lives in a family in which most of its adults smokes cigarettes. Seeing Bulma and her father doing so, curiosity gets the best of him and our beloved Saiyan Prince converts into a chain smoker. Does it do good for him or is it really bad for him in the long run, despite his physiological differences as a Saiyan. Bardock's Fall: This one-shot revolves around Bardock and his last stand against Freeza. Given that the narrative has been changed from what we're all used to (Bardock: Father of Goku Special), we must all accept the fact that Dragon Ball Minus' interpretation of Bardock is the true character of Goku's father. We see in the movie that Bardock still stands off against Freeza, though what happens in-between has truly never been clarified. In this 6,000 word story, I go over how I personally believe things to have transpired. A Halfling's Kismet: I often wondered whatever happened to half-saiyans whenever the Saiyan race were at their prime. Were they sent away to be forgotten or just disposed of? In this story, I have a personal take as to what happens when King Vegeta the first sees something off about a particular Saiyan who just so happens to be born without a tail. He doesn't connect the dots yet, though the boy's abnormal potential proves to be a threat to his position. In hopes of having his bloodline remain as the most dominant, he sees no other option but to try and do away with the boy without losing face. Two Masters, One Legend: The dream fight of Grampa Gohan and Muten Roshi finally happens. But how could such a thing transpire in the canon timeline? Here, subsequent to Roshi's death in attempt to stop King Piccolo, he comes across his former student for a second time in a long time. They have a good talk and a good fight. This would make sense as to why Roshi makes the face he did after waking up from his slumber; as if it all was a grand dream. Stories In Progress Dragon Ball Governed: This is something I've been thinking about writing on for a year or so now. I've always wondered how things would go if Freeza didn't destroy Planet Vegeta in realistic terms. Thanks to Dragon Ball Minus and the Dragon Ball Super Broly Movie as well as interviews and other sources of info, there has been a grand bit of information come out regarding Saiyans and their culture as a society. From observation of the Dragon Ball Super Broly Movie as well as Akira Toriyama's interviews regarding the Saiyans, here is my take on how things could potentially go. The story focuses on characters as individuals and their motivations as they continue to grow. This will be quite a lengthy story so if you don't have patience regarding world building as well as growth of characters, then this story is not for you. But if you enjoy these types, please do enjoy. Ambitions Arc (Ch. 1-22) In this Arc, we come to see how all the main characters come to be for the Arcs later on in the story. Everyone's character is established and their goals are all made clear to the readers, which should have them excited for all the future chapters and Arc(s) to come. A Wolf's Tale: Yamcha's backstory leaves all sorts of questions that many wish to have the answers to. Well, here is my take on Yamcha's story. Ever wonder why he was shy of girls? How'd he get his sword? Where in the world did he learn his Wolf Fang Fist Technique? How does he know of Grampa Gohan and his prowess as a seasoned Martial Artist? Yamcha has always been an interesting character based off his own merit, but has been underplayed and valued in many ways. Here we get to see a different side of him. Project Cloud: An idea I have always thought about: what would happen if Goku were taken in and converted to an artificial human - or should we say, Saiyan? I couldn't see any other perfect moment in the canon timeline of Dragon Ball for Goku to be changed than the moment where he is fighting against the Red Ribbon Army. Dr. Gero capitalizes on the opportunity to use Son Goku as a weapon for the Red Ribbon Army. This is a totally different side of Goku that can be shown and it excites me just even thinking about it. I hope you can enjoy this one. Other Profile(s) Archive of Our Own (A03): Jakei |
