![]() Author has written 3 stories for Naruto, Mortal Instruments, and Star Trek: 2009. Hmm, me. I seem to be the person that you never expect to act the way I do, no matter what scene I find myself to be. At my anime and scyfi cons, I am the artist, or, as my best friend has dubbed me, the ninja on a sewing machine. At school, I become the jock who watches Star Trek TOS on the way to soccer games and the cocky nerd who asks all those annoying questions that makes the teacher beam. I LOVE the rain. Dancing, singing and splashing away a thunderstorm gives me the greatest joy as inspiration soaks though my lightning soul. Hence my pen name. :) I still grab my boffer blade on a regular basis and whack around like a ninja in my room with the music cranked, ignoring the world as I hunt for the elusive plot bunny. As far as my life goes, I am working on my History undergrad and have ambitions of med school and beyond. As a child, I wanted to join StarFleet or travel with the doctor as a never stationary doctor. Then, at about 17, I realized there was a wonderful thing called the Air Force and ROTC. It is as close to the stars as I can realistically hope for. Be forewarned, the first time they need a doctor to go the newly colonized moon, I will be first in line. My eyes are always on the sky, be it pelting rain at my face or letting me bask in the fullness of the stars. As far as fandoms run, I love scyfi, books and anime, all for different reasons. The plot behind a good scyfi offers limitless opportunity for fanfics and gives the author a real chance to have some fun. Books, oh books. The limitless opportunity of words. I find it so hard to properly capture a character, but when you wake up in the middle of the night with that perfect idea, it just comes. More than anything else, I adore the amount of imagination that is so easily accessible. No pictures save for what your mind can come up with. It’s truly beautiful. And anime, though, I will admit, after a nasty flame when I need a boost of self-esteem, I can turn to the pages upon pages of unedited, passive voice and horrible plot lines and let them heal my bruised ego. There are of course, a few jems that make the search totally worth it. The character development is incredible and in some cases, inspirational. I believe that is all I have to blab about today. If you have any questions, requests, queries or rants, feel free to send a PM. friends will read your story, tell you they love it, and say that its the greatest thing ever. best friends will read it after days of begging, rip it to shreds, say it sucks beyond all repair and still review under three accounts. two made up just to review for you. :) Till then, Live long and prosper. :) |
