Welcome to Kya's Nonsense

This is a place where I can put up my nonsense without worrying about losing it.

Since I write when the mood hits me, the updates remain sporadic, however, I do not plan upon abandoning any story in the near future. A warning for those of you who do not like original characters, I do. I write them often, though the stories don't always revolve around them. I like the challenge of creating a character that will fit into a story and world. Consider yourself warned.

Story Status:

Of Sparks and Cons - The story that takes place after Quicksilver has become a youngling and struggles to survive on her own after being whisked away from the abuse of her creators. Through the help of her new family, Quicksilver strives to become more than she thought possible, all the while helping her new siblings learn and grow as well. This story can go from heart-warming to heart-wrenching in seconds, but it does provide a wild ride. Based in the Prime universe. Loss - Quicksilver is the creation of two Decepticons, Hardcore and Skyshot, living aboard a Decepticon warship long before Lord Megatron finds his way to Earth. Life aboard the warship is tolerable, particularly since she can escape her 'father' easily. Until things change without warning. Based in the Prime universe. Safe and Protected - Sequel to "Caught". It's 6 years later and Fusion finds herself back where she started. But, is she going to want to leave this time? Or is she going to choose to switch sides? *There are a few cameos of characters belonging to friends. Based in the Prime universe.

Caught - Fusion, an Autobot scout, is captured by Megatron's forces shortly after she arrives on Earth. Megatron believes she knows the location of the Autobots' base, will she survive when he discovers she knows nothing of where the base is? Based in the Prime universe.

Parenthood - A collection of oneshots, surrounding the growth of Roy and Riza's family, set after the manga/anime. The East is now stabilized and Roy's in charge of Central Command. This is an ongoing series and will only be complete when I decide I'm done writing them. I'd like to get all the way to Mae's adulthood, at least. With that in mind, the years will begin to jump. The newest chapter has Mae as a toddler. *Updated 03/21/2016*

New Girl in Town - What is it like, when you're the new girl? This is written in a style that lets you decide who the character is, though it is NOT an adventure-style story. Initially, the oneshot was supposed to be all there would be to it, but I've decided to try something a bit more in-depth. I am unsure of when there will be an update to this particular story.

Coincidences - Rebekah Conrad had lead an eventful, if short, life up to the point in which she found herself being saved by an NCIS agent by the name of Jethro Gibbs. Being a bit of a recluse, she pushed him away. But that didn't stop him from showing up when she needed him most. *In progress*

The Price of Immortality - What happens when a demon playing butler meets an immortal human girl? Mayhem, of course. A/N: This story was quite random and will be updated off and on, maybe. The main character currently has no name, so I may be posting a poll to ask for assistance in the naming of her.

*Note*

While I adore Fullmetal Alchemist, I've not had the pleasure of finishing the series. As you may notice some discrepancies between my stories and canon, please keep that in mind. I try to keep them as canon as possible according to what I have read (I have read far more of the manga than seen the anime) and seen. My main focus is keeping the characters' personalities more canon than anything, though, of course people grow as they age (just a normal part of life).

I've not stated how far into the future Mae is born, and will not until I've calculated the time myself.
