Hello!

I'm musicforlife101, known on Tumblr, Twitter, the USA boards and Psychfic as Pineapple Yogurt, and on YouTube as miniBrennan (not that I've been doing much on there but if you see me around, say hi).

I'm a huge fan of Sherlock, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Merlin and Covert Affairs. I also love Psych, Burn Notice, Castle, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek (both the reboot and TOS) and lots of other stuff. I love all things British and Irish and love to travel. As well as Harry Potter and all sorts of fantasy and sci-fi. And I spent last spring studying abroad in Dublin!

I've been writing since I was about seven, even won an award, but got back into it a few years ago. I am in my fourth year of college at a great university and therefore I often have a lot of work. Because of this, sometimes I'm slow at posting but I am determined to finish everything at some point. I love reviews and often take time out of lunch and breaks to read them at school. I have a thing for songfics and music (hence the pen name) and I am a firm believer in happy endings. I usually write romance of some kind, but I've recently found I can write angst. Who knew?

I'm a very stubborn person by nature, but I try to use it to my advantage. Therefore, I like to incorporate that quality into someone or bring it out in a character in almost all my stories. My dad died a week before my thirteenth birthday, so that theme and the date 5-20 show up often in my fics. And I have a half sister that I met a few years ago, so long lost relatives may make an appearance sometime in the future, but she is so much like our dad even though she doesn't remember him that I have even more faith in the nature vs. nurture argument. That theme shows up a lot, especially in my X-Files fics, or anything where children of characters are involved, even more so if one or both of them are missing for a large part of the child's life. I thought I would throw this in here in case someone stopped by to read. So now you know why certain things are the way they are.

Also, I'm now starting to put my work on Archive of Our Own, under the same pen name. So if you like to use that ask well (I find it to be a fantastic site) go ahead and look me up over there. I'm slowly migrating my work to there, but not everything is up yet, and I might even start posting some new stuff as well.

Sherlock - Sherlock/John, always and in all universes, I'm not a huge Mycroft/Lestrade supporter, but I like it well enough and I'm always impressed by the ability to create sexual tension between characters who have never appeared on screen together, lol

Star Trek - Kirk/Spock, the great-grandaddies of slash, Sulu/Chekov

Merlin - Merlin/Arthur, there is an extreme lack of heterosexuality on that show, just sayin'. I also really love fics that feature 'nice Morgana' because she is sassy and awesome and such a Merthur shipper

Doctor Who - 10/Rose, anyDoctor/Rose 11/River, and the nonexistent but wonderful universe created by SanguineInk that features 10/Rose traveling with Jack. Amy/Rory. And on a side note from Torchwood and sort of DW, I love Jack/Ianto!

LOTR - Aragorn/Legolas, Merry/Pippin, a little Frodo/Sam, but I love all the friendship fics, especially Aragorn-Legolas-Gimli friendship

Supernatural - Dean/Castiel, Dean/pie, Dean&Sam bromance, and my headcanon that Dean Forrester from Gilmore Girls was actually Sam Winchester in disguise

X-Files - Mulder/Scully, occasionally Dogget/Reyes, if it's in a fic with MSR

NCIS - Tony/Ziva (Tiva), McGee/Abby (McAbby), Jenny/Gibbs (Jibbs), and Vance-bashing

Psych - Shawn/Juliet (Shules) nuff said.

Burn Notice - Michael/Fiona, big time on that one. My omni-present writing obsession. I will always have a thing for these two and will never tire of writing them or reading them.

NCIS: Los Angeles - Kensi/G, another reading and writing obsession.

Castle - Castle/Beckett (Caskett), I could watch and read these two for the rest of my life and never get bored. Love them! Also, love Stanathan, but that's irrelevant here.

In Plain Sight - Mary/Marshall, I'm not really a Raph basher, but I can't say that I particularly mind.

Covert Affairs - Annie/Auggie, I haven't written anything for it, but I love reading it.

Eureka - Zane/Jo, because they're perfect in any timeline and I abso-frickin-lutely love them. Allison/Jack, cuz duh

I have not, but I think it would be pretty awesome, Zane and Rose could be kind of hilariously fun

Mulder is pretty hot, you could even call him 'Foxy' (sorry, I couldn't resist!)

3. What would happen if Twelve got Eight pregnant?

If Scully got Spock pregnant they would both be skeptical about it

4. Can you recall any fics about Nine?

plenty, there are some fantastic fics about Sam

5. Would Two and Six make a good couple?

In a way, Crowley and Zane (especially forgetting-he's-supposed-to-be-the-villain Crowley) would be kind of an amazing couple. They would, admittedly, probably just like to watch the world burn

6. Five/Nine or Five/Ten? Why?

10/Sam or 10/Jo, definitely 10/Sam. Even though Sam is kind of a soldier (in a way) and Jo has a really good heart, the Doctor isn't very fond of soldiers or guns, and Jo really really is. Sam likes books and research. He and the Doctor would get along really well

7. What would happen if Seven walked in on Two and Twelve having sex?

Oh God! Cas walking in on Crowley and Scully would be hilarious. He'd being stuttering and confused and it would be delightful

8. Make up a summary for a Three/Ten fic.

Dean had survived quite a few apocalypses now, but never one created by science. At least Jo Lupo has the right idea how to handle it: plenty of firepower

9. Is there any such thing as One/Eight fluff?

Yes, yes Kirk/Spock fluff exists and it is glorious

10. Suggest a title for a Seven/Twelve hurt/comfort fic.

"Not the Angel She'd Been Praying For (But Maybe the One She Needed)"

11. If you wrote a songfic about Eight, what song would you choose

Wow, I have actually no clue. Maybe "Take Me Home, Country Roads" by John Denver
