My current project is the Defenders of Azeroth series for Warcraft.

Defenders of Azeroth
The Light of Azeroth exists within many of her champions, though ancient and terrible forces work against them. They have lived through the crucible of war but still greater challenges approach. Are they stronger or will they break?

This series is a collection of stories that share the same AU elements, supporting characters and events. It follows the large strokes of the lore starting from The Cataclysm, but the details and some of the events have diverged from canon. There will be Legion speculation and even minor spoilers but these stories will diverge from game canon as I'm starting before Legion release, and will probably be different where information is conflicting or where I am intentionally diverging to tell a slightly different story.

While the stories are part of the same series, many of them can be read as stand-alones easily!

Addendum since some people seem to not understand this: AU series which diverged at the end of MoP. I began it before Legion launched. Obviously the BFA xpac is even further in the future.

For those keeping track (and my own benefit) here is a timeline based on in-game events. Some of them are being worked on in parallel.

Life-Binder - Post Cataclysm. Begins immediately after Dawn of the Aspects, which is some time after Theramore, but before Thunder Isle. Events in this story run concurrent to Earthward, Red Crane and Spellweaver, but can easily be read as a stand-alone. Major Characters: Alexstrasza, Go'el(Thrall) and Aggra, Ysera, OCs
Status: Incomplete

Blessing of the Red Crane - Post Mists of Pandaria. Begins immediately after the trial of Garrosh Hellscream in Pandaria. Events are ongoing in parallel to Earthwarder and Lifebinder. Can easily be read as a Stand Alone. Major Characters: Jaina Proudmoore, Kalecgos, Anduin Wrynn, Varian Wrynn, Archmage Modera and some OCs. Cameos by many lore characters.
Status: Completed.

Spellweaver - Begins just before Warlords of Draenor and immediately after Blessing of the Red Cran. Events are ongoing in parallel to Earthwarder and Lifebinder. Can easily be read as a Stand Alone. Major Characters: Jaina Proudmoore, Kalecgos, Anduin Wrynn, Varian Wrynn, Archmage Modera and some OCs. Cameos by many lore characters.
