My name is Katelyn and my nicknames are Kate and Katie. I am twenty-two years old. I have brown hair and blue eyes and I wear glasses. I consider my favorite animal to be dogs although I also like cats, my favorite color to be blue, my favorite drink to be Coke although I also like Fanta, my favorite foods to be big pickles, cheeseburgers, hot wings, pizza, Subway sandwiches, and tacos, my favorite flower to be blue roses, and my favorite gemstone to be Opal. I dislike being touched. Thoughts on the Tudors:

I am a big fan of Anne Boleyn because she is my favorite wife out of King Henry VIII’s six wives. Anne had black hair and dark brown eyes, but I can only see her as Natalie Dormer who portrayed her on the Tudors whenever I think of her. She clearly had fine qualities such as allure, beauty, brilliance, courage, determination, elegance, an excellent sense of fashion, a fantastic great charm, a good sense of humor, grace, honesty, independence, a kind heart when she chose, a lively, opinionated, and passionate personality, mothering skills, resourcefulness, and strength, but also flaws such as arrogance, boastfulness, cockiness, hysteria, jealousy, pride, ruthlessness, a sharp tongue, and a terrible temper. She was definitely well-educated compared to other girls of her rank and status at the time as she was academically educated in arithmetic, foreign languages, the genealogy of her family, history, reading, spelling, and writing, domestically in household management, feminine accomplishments such as art, dancing, etiquette, good manners, music, needlework, and singing, games such as cards, chess, and dice, how to gamble, and outdoor pursuits in archery, falconry, horseback riding, and hunting. Her ending was sad and tragic and I feel that she did not deserve to arrested, brought to trial, convicted on false charges of adultery, conspiring the death of the King, deciding to marry Sir Henry Norris so that she could rule England with him by her side in her daughter Princess Elizabeth Tudor’s name once King Henry VIII was dead, high treason, incest, and mocking King Henry VIII’s clothes, music, and poetry, doomed to be sentenced to death, and executed on the scaffold by decapitation with a sword the way that she was in history.

I have the highest respect for Katherine of Aragon, Anne of Cleeves, and Katherine Parr and I like Katherine Howard too, but Jane Seymour just does not click with me as well as the other five wives of King Henry VIII did.

That being said I believe that King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn had accepted each other for who they are, cared about each other, and deeply been in love with each other. Anne’s brilliance, charisma, drive, energy, and fire clearly made her his equal and she definitely was his soul mate and true love. There is an extremely thin line between hate and love and for them their relationship was always passionate. I get the impression that King Henry VIII who had once loved Anne so passionately would only naturally come to not accept Anne for who she was, care nothing for her, and hate her with the same intensity over time since she had failed to give him the son that she had promised to give to him just like Katherine of Aragon did before her. He convinced himself that Anne was guilty of the crimes of adultery, conspiring the King’s death, deciding to marry Sir Henry Norris and rule England with him in their daughter Princess Elizabeth Tudor’s name once he was dead, high treason, and incest despite the lack of evidence and few witnesses against her that were able to be proven false through logic and he wanted her dead for her alleged betrayal of him out of jealousy and hurt to his manhood and pride. However he did hire one of the most skilled executioners of the time to execute her so that she would not have to suffer from a terrible death and I feel that he went on loving her up until the day that he had died especially since forbidding her name to be spoken to him in his presence just proves it to me. I really do love the King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn pairing, but I suppose that I love the King Francis of I and Anne Boleyn pairing the most and I think that King Henry VIII did not really turn into a cruel and destructive monster until after he had killed Anne in cold blood.

Writing Preferences:

I am into reading any fanfiction story that follows into the category of anime, cartoons, movies, and T.V. shows that I like to watch and books or comic books that I like to read so long as the stories are brilliant, creative, descriptive, and excellently well-written and have few grammar, punctuation, or spelling errors in them. I do like fanfiction stories that deal with angst, drama, family and friendship, and humor in them. I enjoy reading ones about romance and science fiction. Fantasy fanfiction stories are good ones to read too, but I am not too much into ones that deal with horror. I refuse to read anything that has to deal with incest, male pregnancy, and slash. Incest is disgusting because parents should not have romantic feelings at all for their children and children should not want to have sex with their parents or their siblings, male pregnancy is freaky as men are unable to get pregnant, and slash grosses me out because I feel that is it wrong for men and women to be in relationships with other people of their same sex. I stay away from fanfiction stories that are about characters that I do not accept for who they are, care nothing about, and dislike because I refuse to waste my time reading stories about characters I am not fond of or bash characters that I like in them.

I cannot stand stories that have original characters in them that are mary-sues. Those stories were the original characters are perfect in every way from their beauty, their brilliance, their courage, and their determination, their fine qualities, their great senses of humor, and their individual personalities with no flaws in them at all and everything they do and say is right while all of the other characters are wrong get on my nerves. There is no way that anybody in life is perfect and to make a character be larger than life is a grave insult to that character because now they have become so wonderful that they are no longer believable as real characters in a person’s story.

Really bad grammar, punctuation, and mistakes also get on my nerves. I am usually very tolerant on this because everybody in life makes mistakes and it is impossible to catch all of the mistakes that a person has made in their stories. I have problems with using too many descriptive words in my stories and run-on sentences. However some stories are so bad because of these kinds of errors that no one can read them. It just frustrates me to stumble upon a fanfiction story where the idea behind it is brilliant and creative, but I cannot understand what the writer of it is trying to express due to their poor grammar, punctuation, and spelling mistakes in their stories. I suggest having someone read over your fanfiction stories to catch any errors that you have made so that you can fix them before you post your stories for you to avoid making this problem. That is why is great for people to have a beta reader to do this for them.

So I would like to address my views on flames. I believe that it is important to compliment writers on brilliant, creative, descriptive, and excellently well-written fanfiction stories, discuss your opinions on them in your reviews, and encourage them to improve in areas that they need to improve upon through constructive criticism. I cannot stand flames. Do not read other people’s stories that are about characters that you hate because you are only wasting your own time by doing so or leave stupid reviews telling that person why it is wrong for them to like that character as rudely as you can since you should not be reading those stories in the first place. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and they are free to express their own opinions in their stories if they want to just as you are free to disagree with them. That does not give anyone the right to give another person a hard time over their own opinions because they are different than their own or insult them over it through mockery and name-calling. It really makes me mad to see a reviewer write “you are stupid,” “this story is trash,” or “you were wrong to think that you have any talent in writing at all because you do not” in someone else’s story because it does nothing but hurt the writer’s enthusiasm and feelings and nobody gets better at their writing by being put down by a bunch of jerks and idiots that like doing it to other people for fun. There is no reason for anybody to be a bully in their reviews on other people’s stories so everyone that is engaging in this kind of immature behavior needs to stop doing it and then everybody will win.

The last thing I need to be sure people know is that I find it disturbing to see someone post graphic stuff in a review of a writer's story. I mean graphic stuff like how I once saw something that someone had posted about them "wanting to eat other people's eyes and other body parts" in a review of a writer's story is nasty. That kind of nonsense better not show up in reviews for my own stories since if it does I will atomically delete it for being vile garbage if anyone tries to do so to me.
