I am married and live in a small Texas town a bit south of Dallas (and about 3 hours west of Shreveport). I graduated from Rice University with a degree in History and Sociology. I have two sons, and both just graduated from The University of Texas.

I was raised very much like our Sookie, to be a "Southern Belle"; so, it just cracks me up to read all of Gran's rules, etc. I have spent most of my life in Texas and Louisiana. I love both places dearly in spite of all their flaws.

I have owned and operated a small art gallery and custom framing store for the last 16 years. Before buying the store, I was a full time artist and illustrator. Being in retail pretty much decimated my art career. I am trying to get back into art, but have found myself struggling to get the creative juices flowing again. "Pour Some Sugar On Me" was my first attempt at writing fiction and I am proud that I actually finished an entire story.

The best thing about writing fanfiction is that someone else has done all the heavy lifting. Credit the wonderful Mrs. Harris, who owns these amazing characters.

If it matters, I have taken a solemn vow to never leave a story unfinished. It is just too hard on the readers!
