Author has written 32 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Watership Down, Chronicles of Narnia, Cats, Doctor Who, Star Wars, and Mass Effect. Hey guys: I'VE PRETTY MUCH MOVED TO AO3. I like the interface better, and it's a lot of effort to keep everything on FFN. Most of my early fics have been crossposted to AO3 in a polished form--sometimes under different titles or incorporated into different fics, but still recognizable! I appreciate all the support you guys have given me here, and I hope some of you will still be interested in my more recent (and, in my opinion, better) fics. I hope to see some of you there! I had a link up to my profile but FFN ate it. You can find me on Tumblr and AO3 as 'mylordshesacactus', probably flailing over Star Wars. FFN Coauthor Projects of Note: I sincerely urge all you profile-reading people to check out See The Cradle?, cowritten and hosted here by the wonderfully brilliant Incendiarist. It won't take you long; it's just a scrapbook-style oneshot about love, acceptance, coexistence and friends found in the strangest of ways. Also, there's a snarky lesbian detective. What more do you need? Discworld! Monstrous Regiment fic this time; though I wasn't a coauthor so much as the cheering section and occasional provider of ideas, A Thunderstorm In Sto Lat was a lot of fun to work on and involves zombie butterflies, everyone's favorite vampire discovering a whole new level of coffee, and lots of Mal/Polly fluff. The first in what will become the Regiones Dirae series, and if you read absolutely nothing else on this profile read TWWIS. It's pre-Time War Gallifrey initially written for Femslash February as a casual fling, and which almost immediately became a whole lot more than that. It's really cool and wonderful and a labor of love that you should read and review to validate the blood, sweat and tears that went into getting it done in time for Valentine's Day. We made over 22,000 words happen in the span of less than two weeks. I can no longer remember my own name. Everything is interspecies lesbian space lingusts. Send help immediately. The sequel to TWWIS, in which Culsu and Lotivver are thrust into the Time War and everything it entails. Somehow, Culsu manages to inspire a Terran religion. She insists she's not a renegade. All Who Dwell Within Your Gates Femslash February 2014 brings a D&D-based fic three years in the making, featuring adorable interspecies lesbians (it's something of a theme), magic, pain, fluff and a trans main character. Also, blood and sweat and tears. If any of you remember me or Incendiarist rambling about Arcverse at any point, this is that fic. Note: Knowledge of neither D&D nor any of the fandoms to which we included brief shoutouts are necessary to understand this fic. I don't know half of them and it didn't stop me from writing the fic. Repeat: You do not have to be familiar with D&D to follow and enjoy AWDWYG. |
