I am a mother of two young children who gets teased by her husband for loving Victorious. I watch and love it for so many reasons but above all because it is a show about teenagers that doesn't just talk about drugs and sex which seems to be what so many shows geared around teens do these days. Additionally, I really like Victoria Justice and it makes me happy to see that my young daughter might still have a few good role models in the entertainment industry to look up to who aren't complete whores or alcoholics (excuse my language).

Pairings I Love:

Beck/Tori (Bori) - I know people say they are boring and I do like Beck/Jade but I would still love to see the writer's put these two together. Probably some of my liking of them comes from how freaking adorable Avan Jogia and Victoria Justice are together. I don't know if I believe that these two are just BFF's, how can you seriously be just friend's with someone that gorgeous (on both their parts) and that you love being around (since they seem to be together all the time). But, back to Bori...I think I would like to see them get together to spite all of the people who say it would be so predictable which I totally disagree with. Just because they are both really good looking and seem to be the most low-key of the characters doesn't mean that their relationship will just be boring and predictable, Dan is a really good writer and I know he could come up with something really interesting for these two. And if it does happen and is boring and predicatable, I will retract my previous statement and start shipping Bade (which I do actually like too).

Andre/Jade (Jandre) - I never thought I would like this pairing together but after the Jade Gets Crushed episode, I began to really like the dynamic between these two and I would like to see it explored further. I think it would be hilarious to see the interactions between this couple because Beck always tends to be really mellow with Jade and just kind of let her do her thing. I don't think Andre would be like that, he would be more like "girl, you gotta chill, what got your panties in a bunch" type of comments which would then piss Jade off and lead to a lot of funny scenes between these two. I hope that the writers choose to explore this relationship at some point, even if they do end up having Beck and Jade get back together in the end.

Robbie/Cat (Cabbie) - Because the way these two characters are written on the show, I don't think they could be in a relationship with anyone but each other plus, they are so cute together...enough said.

Pairings I Just Don't Get:

Andre/Tori (Tandre) - Seriously, I have never seen anything in any of the episode's that indicates that either of these two thinks of the other one as anything but a friend. I just do not see any type of physical chemistry between these two, outside of friendship. I could see a romantic type of chemistry between Jade and Andre's characters after just one episode of interaction between them while Tori and

Andre have had countless episodes centered around them and I have not seen even a spark of interest between them. I really think people are seeing something that isn't there when they think that Andre and Tori will get together. It is just my opinion and I am probably wrong but I really don't see it, in fact, I could see Andre with Cat before I could see him with Tori. I mean no offense to anyone who ships Andre/Tori because I do love both of them!!!

Beck/Cat (Bat): I think people are kidding themselves when they think Beck would put up with Cat for more than five minutes before getting super annoyed with her. Since I am talking about the way the characters are written on the show, I think Cat is wayyyyyyy too ditzy for Beck and it would drive him nuts. He puts up with Jade's antics but Jade is extremely intelligent and he can have a conversation with her without her telling a "One time my brother" story every few minutes. I just don't see this happening on the show...EVER!!!!!!!

Pairings I Haven't Decided On:

Robbie/Tori (Rori): I have read some really good fanfiction about these two that has made me more open to a relationship between them on the show, but it is still really hard for me to ever see it playing out on TV.

Robbie/Jade (Rade): This pairing really intrigues me because I think it could be a very interesting dynamic. I don't think it will ever happen on the show but I still think it could be kind of sweet though very unusual.

Andre/Cat (Candre): For some reason, I could possibly see this happening on the show (though I would much prefer Jandre). I think Andre would be amused enough by Cat's silliness to put up with her and I think that these two could be pretty cute together.

I am not going to say anything about Beck and Jade because obviously, they are a couple and want to be together right now. Who knows if they will be endgame or not, honestly, we have no say, it is completely up to Dan, so I don't know why people get so upset about it and threaten to quit watching the show if these two break up. I have to say though, from observing recent episodes, there has not been very much Bade interaction recently and I don't know if that is a precursor for what is to come or just the way the episodes have been edited.

Another Rant by Me:

It really bothers me that people feel the need to support only Victoria or Ariana or Liz and then they complain about how much less talented the other two are compared to their preferred actress. I really enjoy all of their acting and singing because they are all so different from one another and that is what makes Victorious an interesting show. So quit hating on Victoria just because she doesn't sing the same as Ariana or Liz...they are all talented, beautiful, accomplished young ladies that deserve our support. I am done ranting ;)

Some of my thoughts on the die hard Bade fans out there who hate the idea of Beck with Tori:

I liken this to a situation that arose on the TV show LOST (my personal favorite show of all time). For those who haven't seen LOST, there was a huge shipping war over who the main female character, Kate, should be paired with. Should she pick the good guy, Jack or the bad boy, Sawyer? It seemed like a lot of people were leaning towards a Kate/Sawyer pairing (kind of like Beck and Jade) when all of the sudden the writers made it so Kate was out of the picture for awhile and Sawyer started a relationship with another woman named Juliet. On paper, people thought the concept of Juliet/Sawyer sounded awful, even the actors who portrayed the characters didn't like the idea. However, once it actually occurred on the show, the majority of viewers loved it...even the ones who thought they were die-hard Sawyer/Kate fans. My point being that I wish people would quit bashing the concept of Beck with Tori before it has even been written or shown on the tv show. I will now step off my soap box ;)
