"Shakespeare once wrote that 'life is but a dream'. And that's exactly how I live my life, from one dream to the next, hating every update of reality." Carson Phillips, Struck By Lightning.

I am icanconquermydemons (i beg of you to ignore the lack of spacing, it was a necessary thing unfortunately and not one I'm proud of), formerly IndigoMystery but with a recent penname change to more suit my current situation (read below for further explanation).

I am an ME/CFS sufferer. Which means I suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It's not a well known illness, but feel free to Google it or, if interested, look up Dr. Raymond Perrin who is a specialist and somewhat of a pioneer in diagnosis of the condition. As a result, my illness leaves me very tired 98% of the time and affects me mentally as well as physically as I struggle to write/read anything currently. Because of this, my updates will be few and far between on anything I do. I don't do this because I don't care about writing, repeat I don't do this because I don't care about writing, I do this because I physically can't deal with writing consistently.

If you want to talk about the illness, any sort of fandom, or just want some place to vent and rant about your day, you are more than welcome to PM me. This is a 100% judgement free zone. Unless you're a complete douchebag. Then there's a lot of judgement directed at you. (Seriously, no one likes a judgemental arse, least of all me. Reconsider your choices and opinions and get back to me later when you've become a decent human being. If not, feel free to spew your frankly moronic opinions in my PM, I'm happy to humour your bigoted viewpoints) however, if you're simply ill-informed and ignorant of why your opinions are bad, then I apologise for the above statement and will say if you wish to talk to me I will be more than happy to try and help you understand the issues you're struggling with.

Final important words: Do not be cruel to people. Seriously. 99.999% of people are on here to read and support one another's writing so there's no need to be a jackass. If you don't like what someone writes, don't read it. And don't be a jerk to them about it. It's your opinion, not everyone's, and unless you've got something constructive to say, don't bother. Needless hate is already an issue, please don't add to it.

And now that that's out of the way, a brief synopsis of some things I thought you might like to know:

I'm from a small town that kind of sucks, so I'm pretty much a hermit. Also, I live in the UK.

I got my fanfiction account to share my writing with other people who enjoy writing and reading. If you don't like it, that's fine too! And feel free to tell me. Any critique is more than appreciated, and I'd rather any nasty comments were sent my way than to another innocent writer.

I enjoy being happy and in general try to avoid having a pessimistic attitude to life. We're all humans, be nice to each other! However recent circumstances mean I'm somewhat more dark than I have been and I'm less likely to be seen smiling. Such is life, unfortunately.

Languages are one of my favourite things to study, including English. Although, I enjoy learning as a whole, so school is/was very enjoyable for me.

Animals rock. Spiders though. Spiders I don't like. Just...ugh. No.

One thing I can't stand is needless hate, for anything. Where does that come from? So I try to be as nice as I can to as many people as I can. After all, you never know if a smile could make someone's day!

I'm not sure why I have to do this, but I'm a bisexual female (single too, though from the unfortunate state my life it looks to be staying that way for a while) and if you're a bigot then please feel free to spew your hateful viewpoints in my PM, I would love to hear how my sexuality affects my ability to write.

I'm an overachiever. Always have been, always will be. Also, kind of a loner these days (personal) but have some select friends who I would die for (names and pen names near the bottom)

Other than that I think that's all you really need to know about me personally.

I enjoy a collection of tv, films and books including: Sherlock, Doctor Who, Glee, Harry Potter and the Inheritance Cycle to name but a few. I am also incredibly invested in expanding my knowledge of both classical and modern literature and am open to experiencing most media produce.

Thanks to this site I have made some amazing friends who I love and cherish and adore with every fibre of my being. I could write pages and pages of all the things I like about these wonderful, amazing, brilliant and fantastic people who I am utterly blessed to have in my life. Ergo, please go and check out the wonderful and perfect:

ABCaseasyas123

and

Nenia357

both are amazing so I urge you to check their work out because they are truly magnificent and utterly phenomenal and I am proud and honoured to be classed as their friend.

I may add more things to this profile but, other than that, I think I'm done here! I'll be posting some things here soon- so stay alert! I'll be back!
