Author has written 4 stories for Teen Titans, and Red Hood and the Outlaws. A bit about me: Nine-tails-jinx, first of all, is in no way related to the Pokemon Ninetails, or my favorite Teen Titans (TV show) villain. "Ninetails" refers to the Japanese kitsune (fox spirits) who represent luck and wisdom within some Japanese mythologies. The oldest and wisest kitsune have nine tails, and while I am neither mythological nor old, I strive to strengthen my wisdom through life experience and thoughtful consideration. The problem is...I have terrible "luck" due to my clumsiness and absent-mindedness, which unfortunately complicates my life. Anyway, ninetailsjinx = (good luck/wisdom) plus bad luck, an ironic pairing but appropriate for me. Besides mythology, I'm also interested in many types of fantasy, which makes me incredibly susceptible to the allure of comic books and comic-related shows. My favorites: Spider-man, The Avengers, Teen Titans, Young Justice, Batman and Wonder Woman. And Sailor Moon. And anything Joss-Whedon created. My favorite ships for Teen Titans include RobxStar, BBxRae, Flinx (but I like Spitfire in Young Justice as well), and RedXStar, so readers probably won't find any ships outside of those in my stories. Also, I have a thing about alternate dimensions, time warps, personality twists (think "The Beast Within") and doppelgangers, so expect those to show up from time to time. P.S., when I say 'alternate dimensions', specifically, I mean those AUs interacting. High School AUs, for example, can be fun if the real-world characters find out they're superheroes in another 'verse, but AUs of any kind usually bore me when they turn out to be just the character's personalities inserted into 'the real world.' That makes it less Teen Titans and more just...Teens, so it doesn't really fit on fanfiction.net any longer 'cause nearly everything becomes OC. Plus, Starfire seems incredibly awkward when there isn't anything to explain her particular speech pattern. I love writing and take it quite seriously, so I'll give many critiques. However, if I leave a critique it's most likely because I believe the author is talented enough to be able to take those criticisms and improve themselves. I make the distinction only because some of the stories I've seen on fanfiction.net have been positively hopeless, so I don't say anything on those. In return, I'd really appreciate feedback on my stories as well--I don't PM back unless a specific question has been asked, but I am truly encouraged by reviews, follows and favorites. Plus, any reviewer, favoriter or follower can expect that I will read (and eventually review) their Teen Titans stories as well, so it's a good way to promote their own story. I'll accept ideas from readers, so if you have an idea don't be afraid to send it to me, or to answer my poll on what story I should start next. Good bye for now, my darlings, and I'll see you in the reviews. |
