January 3: Double Trouble: 1995 is up! I'm still in kind of shock about that; I can't believe I've actually finished the first two parts of that series. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it, and hopefully I will get back to work on Missing Names relatively soon (and write a few other ideas before Deathly Hallows destroys all of them in publication). ~What You Might Like to Know About Me~

My real name? Forget it. . . .

As far as the usual stats go, I'm nineteen, female, Christian, American, and proof that blonde is not a hair color but a state of mind (my hair is actually middling brown). So yes, I can act quite . . . crazy at times, which might explain why a friend of mine has a tendancy to compare me to Padfoot. . . . I'm a marching band geek and obviously, an avid reader, writer, and Harry Potter fan. Fanfiction is my playground, so if I suddenly drop off the face of the earth for a few months (in the updating department) it's probably because I'm nearing the end of an original project.

I fangirl Regulus Black, Sirius Black, and Remus Lupin more than I like to admit, so if you write the former you have my attention without trying and I'm always glad to see the latter two written well. (I'll fangirl a few other people, all of them fictional, alas. . . .)

If you know Norse mythology, you know Loki. If you make his good side (a.k.a. the getting Thor to wear a wedding gown side) slightly nicer and female, you might have some idea what I'm like. I still think Thor's an idiot, though. . . . Surprisingly, I'm probably borderline Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, despite my Regulus fangirlishness and Loki-ish personality traits. . . . Guess I'm too much like Padfoot and Moony. . . .

~The Writing~

I believe life is best taken with a fairly healthy sense of humor, and trust me, it shows in my writing, but I don't usually write pure humor (just the optimistic side of life, much to Reggie's chagrin). I'm generally a general fiction writer, and obviously, I love oneshots. I'm not big on romance, and while because of Regulus I've come to terms with angst, I still prefer bittersweet general fiction, or humor, even with the youngest Black and especially with the Marauders. (I'm definately a Marauder Era girl, so even when I'm looking in Harry's time frame I'm probably dealing with the adults). I also write a lot about the Black family. They are an utterly fascinating group of people.
