Author has written 4 stories for Star Wars Rebels, and Star Wars. Thoroughly enjoy writing, exploring the universe, time travel & multiple dimensions and mind-bending shit like that, though the stories that contain it are a bit of a mess, so they aren't around much yet. Any and all feedback/verbal abuse about my stories are welcome. I have to deal with banter every day, so I'm reasonably confident I can survive this. My OC's (that aren't minor characters): - The 4th Brother - an inquisitor who lost his left arm and now has 2 metal ones in it's place (awesome, right?). Generally polite and also vindictive, he is really powerful and somewhat mad (also crazy intelligent). I enjoy writing him XD. So far has appeared in almost every story I've written so far, with the exception of Fallen Hero but including those undeveloped/unpublished storylines that I keep mentioning. - Ajaxsus Mardar - Jedi(ish) guy who left before Order 66, and exists in one unpublished story right now, though he may make his way into others. Encounters the 4th Brother several times - Kandra Felis - Redhead Mandalorian chick who also rocks around with Ajaxsus fighting the 4th Brother. Also unpublished. What I think about my stories: A Fallen Hero - I enjoyed writing it, but it was short, more of a set-up for Breakdown than a full-on story. Large Vader exposition dump at the end, including information on the EU story of Vader attacking the Jedi Enclave on Kessel. Overall, it was quite fun to write, but not very descriptive and had some poor dialogue. Breakdown - I'm not sure what to think of this story. I used to intensely dislike it, and a couple of sections make me cringe to the point of wanting to delete the story, but a few moments actually made me laugh going back to it a couple years down the line, and a few of the ideas are kinda unique and creative. So... IDK really, some of it's alright, some's not, yeah... Shattering (In Progress) - I really enjoy writing this, and have some help from ja54591 with this work, including pointing out plot holes, bad lines, and various other things in the story. Check out his page on fanfiction, he's a great writer. I like the characterization i Shattering, and my purely uninspired idea with this (I feel guilty for saying that), as well as the references and my main OC, the 4th Brother. Certain chapters give me disgusting writer's block, which there are some massive delays. The biggest being nearly a year :/ Reality of War (In Progress) - Also incredibly fun to write, in part because it's written more from the soldier's perspective than the flashy heros and villains with lightsabers and awesome force powers and armours and stuff. I only write it when the mood strikes me, so updates may be... sporadic. Useless info about me: I freaking love Halo, Star Wars, 40k and various other universes. My parents got me into Star Wars when I was pretty young, but not young enough to see the originals in cinema (THEY were relatively young then). Been in love ever since. Halo I grew to love after playing the games and looking at the extended universe. And Warhammer 40k because it's a ridiculous shitshow and surprisingly fun to both play and write about. My favourite hobby has to be sleeping (as opposed to, you know, writing or something that makes sense) I have 2 cats, a dog and 2 siblings. Yes I include them all together here because they annoy me equally. I currently live in the UK. No more information will be provided. If you find where I live, then I will give you a hearty congratulations followed by getting you arrested for stalking. I speak French (Just about passably). I can also sing 'Happy Birthday' in French, Arabic, Italian, Portuguese and sometimes Mandarin (Chinese, but only when I can remember the words :P). I used to live in the Mediterranean region/Middle East, frequent France for holidays and have a Portuguese friend who taught me how to sing happy birthday. I don't know why I can occasionally recall how to sing happy birthday in Mandarin, because the furthest East I've been is Sri Lanka, and I also don't lnow why you'd need to know what languages I can sing it in. Places I've been to: 30 countries now!!! Influences on my work: -The Last Of Us - A fantastic story-driven game. Mixture of sadness, happiness and, in the end, mind blown-ness that very few games ever deliver. - Knights of the Old Republic I and II. Brilliant games. - Music like 'hurt' (Johnny Cash), Call of Duty World at War Soundtrack - Black Cats (What? I know, right?), You Give Love a Bad Name (Bon Jovi), Boulevard of Broken Dreams (Green Day), The Last Battle (Sabaton), The USSR National Anthem (not an influence... more something I play to annoy my friends), and more (will keep updating) - Real life, because... “Truth is stranger than fiction, but it is because Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities; Truth isn't.”(Mark Twain) - The Fall of Saigon (for a future chapter in Shattering), The Arab-Israeli war (in which palestinians fleeing Israel tried to start a coup against the Jordanian government, and Israel found themselves accepting palestinian refugees fleeing Jordan...), personal experiences (involving dislocations mostly), - A random picture of an X-Wing being pursued by TIE fighters over an ocean. Not much to it, but somehow I developed, like, the entire X-wing sub-plot of Breakdown from it. - Many, many films. Too many to list. |
