Author has written 8 stories for Naruto. Hey everyone, nice of you to drop on by. Since I have seen a lot of different people's profiles, I think I should go ahead and say a few things about myself. I have many different names. Some of which are Cassandra, Cassie, Cass-kun, Cass-chan, Weirdo, Dumbass, Crazy...and the list goes on. I am currently 19 years old. My birthday is May 11th, which means my 20th birthday is on the horizon. Not too thrilled about that. I used to be a yaoi fanatic. I could often be found at a computer in the local library going "ohmigod ohmigod must have mansex." And then I kinda flipped a 180 and started to appreciate fics for things such as writing style and literacy. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a fan of the man on man action. I just care about punctuation now. I guess you could say my favorite Manga/Anime is Naruto. It is by far the one I have stuck to the longest, and the character diversity the series provides is hard to match. I regret to say that I have fallen out of the loop in regards to anime/manga. They used to be the only things I associated myself with, so my knowledge was vast. But as I found myself having less and less spare time, the availability for me to immerse myself in anime and manga diminished with it. Though I do indulge myself sometimes. I am currently watching Yu Yu Hakusho, and I have to say that I am pretty much in love with it. Kurama for the win, yo. I am also a big fan of Gantz, though I haven't read much of the recent chapters or anything. I am currently attending the local community college. Having graduated a year ago, I have found myself with nothing better to do. I work as a Vet Tech Assistant at the local Banfield Pet Hospital, and I am currently aspiring to get my Vet Tech license. Seems fun and a little more affordable than 8 years in college to be a full on Vet. So as you can see, my day is generally taken up by school, and work. What little free time I have I generally spend with my boyfriend, or my computer. Usually my computer. I'm pretty much online all the time, so feel free to hit me up on facebook (Cassie Goodwin) or something. I'm always open to meeting new people and chatting and stuff. If you want you can e-mail me at the_happy_idiot@. In the past, especially during the time frame that I started writing fanfiction, I found myself without a computer quite often. In order to write, I would either have to shadily use my house computer and hope that no one would read over my shoulder, or go to the local library when I could to use their computer. Sadly, none of the two happened frequently. And then I started working an office job and found myself with two computers. On a side note, that was the coolest shit ever. I had the two monitors set up where my mouse would go across both screens and everything. Flat screen monitors, hella fast internet. Everything. Working for the IRS was awesome. In any case, finding myself working 5-8 hour days in front of a computer made me realize that I could use some of my spare time to keep writing. So I did, and that is when I uploaded the majority of my fics. Sadly, it was an internship that ended once I graduated, so that opportunity came and went. And that brings me to now. I know have my own awesome computer that I can use whenever the hell I want without having to worry about anyone overlooking what I am writing or stumbling upon a poorly disguised file on the shared computer. I am very protective about my computer and what things I keep on it and have gone the extra mile to secure said technology. 1. I have a 27 letter long password. Try and guess it. I dare you. 2. I have a lock on my door and I have the only key. Parents, bitch all you want but I'm not giving you the spare. 3. I have a lightsabre hidden behind my laundry basket and I am not afraid whip that shit out and shove it down your throat. 4. I have a pet. Her name is Shelob. She is a tarantula. She still has her venom. Her tank is three feet away from my computer and by all means, she will bite if provoked. Good thing I know how to provoke her and point her away from me. I take my property seriously. Can you tell? Part of this is because my 15 year old brother likes to steal my shit and I finally put my foot down and said "fuck that." In any case, me having a computer means that I can write whenever I want, right? Yup. But that also means I am susceptible to interweb attention suckers, like cyanide and happiness, VGCats and the worst of all...9Gag. I will never forgive them for the time they stole from me. It took me months before I stumbled upon old saved files of long forgotten fics. After re-reading them, I had mixed feelings. First, I was appalled by my grammar and sentence structure in some of them. Second...I was in awe of myself. Like...some of the crap I wrote was good. Like holy shit. So I have decided that I shall continue writing. And while I write, I will go back and edit the shit out of the fanfics where my writing was horrible. I'll go ahead and take this moment also to apologize for the inevitable change in my writing style that I know has occurred after all this time. Can't really be helped. I apologize for the wait, and I have no doubt that most of you have given up on me ever updating. But starting today, I will prove you wrong. I don't know how often I will upload. I cant promise once a week or once a month, I just don't know. But I will keep writing, and I hope that people will keep reading. That's about it. Yeah, so read my stories, review if you'd like, talk to me if you feel like it, and I shall see you all later. |
