27/09/12: IMPORTANT NOTICE. As you guys may have noticed, I've been pretty absent over the last 6 months or so (aka I vanished without a trace from fandom in a way that was probably more rude than epically cool and mysterious). Basically, real life has kind of forced me into abandoning fanfiction and all of you lovely people; I've been focussing on my exams for the last few months, and now I'm looking ahead to my future plans. I guess this is, sadly, me saying 'goodbye' to you all, at least for now. I can't see myself having the time to write or read anything in the coming year, let's put it that way. But this isn't necessarily the end, and I really hope I can come back to this wonderful website and the wonderful community of writers and readers that surrounds it someday. I've had a brilliant time on this site, and I've got some great memories to be going along with- I leave you with a collection of stories that I hope some people continue to maybe enjoy, even just a little bit.

So yeah. In true Bookworm style, this notice was much longer and more rambling than it needed to be. Love to everyone who was ever my fanfiction-friend, and also to anyone who ever reviewed/favourited or even just read my stuff. It meant a lot.

18/08/11- I seem to just always be telling you lot that I'm going away! xD Well, this time it is for two weeks with assorted friends and family; ah, a lovely two weeks, just us, the sun, sea and the sand... Nah, we'll be in the South of England. More like the wind, rain and the mud. ;) I've had a REALLY awful day today (exam results drama...) so I am looking forward to this holiday loads. :) Anyway, I'll be back on the 2nd Sept- while I'm away, keep on writing, and don't do anything I wouldn't do! (Oh, and water the plants once in a while. That'd be nice.)

31/07/11- I am off, my darlings, on a journey to a far off land where I will learn magical secrets and where the muses collect as one... Okay, I'm actually off to some far corner of the English coast where I will partake in an opera course. :) I'm looking forward to it; I'm sure I will learn a lot, and although it will be a lot of work keeping up with the adults, I'm sure I'll enjoy it. However, it does (shockingly) mean I will be separated from my beloved computer for 8 WHOLE DAYS! D: I'm not sure how I will survive. Anyway, it does mean I won't be here to review/reply to reviews/write my own stuff (which might actually happen at the moment! :D) so if you PM me and I don't reply, don't worry it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you, it just means I am struggling through German opera in a mansion in a (probably rainy) remote section of England. Cheerio, toodle pip, and all that jazz, and I'll see you on the 8th! :D

29/07/11- Yesterday I had sudden inspiration for a story. An actual story. Know what this means? MY WRITER'S BLOCK IS OVER!!! :DDD Ridiculously happy about this, I've missed writing so much, and I hate dry spells! Amazingly it's not actually for YGO, but I don't want to jinx this (because I'm superstitious like that) so I won't be telling you lot any more than that, so... Watch this space! And thanks for sticking with me, even through my whiny 'I can't think of ANY plots!' phase. :)

15/07/11- Went to see the midnight showing of Harry Potter, dressed as Hedwig. :P Me and my friends definitely had the best costumes, and had our photos taken with loads of random tourists- BRILLIANT night!! Then, after about four hours of sleep, I went to see it again with different friends. I am a hardcore fan, people, hardcore.

18/06/11- Hey, just to say I know I've been a crappy reviewer lately, but things are a bit stressful in RL at the moment. I've just been diagnosed with epilepsy, which aint fun, and along with a whole load of school things means that I'm a bit stretched for time- sorry, all! :/

17/05/11- It's that time of year again- that's right, my lovelies, the dreaded exams are upon us! (Or just me. I like to think you'll all suffer with me in sympathy). Obviously this is my first priority right now, but when my exams finish (bring on next Tuesday! :DD) I will have nothing to do for weeks on end (*lies through teeth*) so you will hopefully see an influx of new fics/reviews/general being around from me. Hopefully. Maybe. Also, I'm switching fandoms like crazy at the moment, so it's highly likely you will be getting some different fics soon. (What, Bookworm writing for something other than YGO?? What is this madness?? xD) Anyways, see you all later! :)

01/04/11-IMPORTANT NOTICE!!! 31/12/10- I want to wish you all a very Merry (belated!) Christmas and a Happy New Year! :D Hope it's a great one, and I'll see you all in 2011. Also, I’ve just posted Round 8’s story which is Bananashipping (Honda x Malik) which is a bit of a monster, but I love it anyway! xD

22/10/10- Fourth round story is for Sealshipping (ork ork)- Atemu x Mahaado. My fic is called 'A Question of Loyalty' and there is a lot of fluffy angst! (or should that be angsty fluff...?) Anyway, hope you like! ;D

12/10/10- And here goes with the third round! My Protectshipping (Honda x Ryou) is called 'Gossips'; a bit of a return to my main style of fluff, although there's still some angst in there. I'm not really sure about it... But it's got some very positive feedback, so there we go! XD Also, RL is being a b*tch right now, so please bear with me about reviews etc.

23/09/10- Second round story is up (for a pairing that I'm really not that excited by, but hey); Mizushipping (Priest Set x Kisara). My fic's called 'A Life of Lives' and will definitely appeal if you like reincarnation stories, or are a history geek! (Like me! ;D) Also, who else is watching the new series of Merlin?? Isn't it FRGGIN AWESOME!!! xD Seriously, Merthur kind of makes my life right now... (Oh come on! They just make it so easy!)

3/09/10- First entry for the contest is up!! (Are you excited? I am!!) The pairing is spiritshipping (Yami x Anzu x Yuugi) and my entry is 'The Ballet Studio'. I'm actually quite pleased with it (don't often say that about my work!) and so I hope you all enjoy it! Fingers crossed about getting through to round 2! :D

01/09/10- The YGO Fanfiction contest has officially STARTED!! XD!! So, basically, that means good news for people that want me to update, bad news for people waiting for reviews to their own stories. I'll review, but be patient; got a lot going on over here! I'm so excited, and the first pairing is really awesome too- must go write! :D Ta ta!

Dislikes:

Spiders, rap music, homework, flamers and character bashing. I'm telling you, if I start reading a fic, even if it's really great, and there's Anzu-bashing, or Yuugi-bashing (or whatever) I will stop reading right there and then. And I definitely won't review. So be warned! I don't like character-bashing!

What I write:

A variety. I love romance fics- but whether that is romance along with friendship, humour, angst, adventure... I really don't mind! I love writing, and I love writing all genres. My main thing at the moment seems to be romance/humour fics in the YGO fandom, but I'm definitely considering branching out a bit in what I write. And although most of my stuff is oneshots, there are mulitchaps in the works!

Just a note: Some of my older stories really aren't worth reading. I hope I've improved in the time I've been here, and I do think those older stories don't quite reflect my writing style as it is now.

What I read:

Anything. I'm such a fanfic junkie; if it's well written, I'll give it a chance. Especially if it's about a wacky pairing- I really love crazy pairings!

Yugioh:

Anything. Seriously, I adore wacky pairings, so if it's a well-written fic I will read it. However, my favourites are usually ones that involve Ryou, Bakura, Marik or Malik in some way. My all time fav is Graceshipping (RyouxIshizu), but apart from that there are too many to list!

Harry Potter:

Mainly Next Gen stuff (ie. Albus/Scorpius, Teddy/James SP, Scorpius/Rose, Teddy/Victoire etc) because I like the freedom it gives authors. But I'm also a massive Ron/Hermione, James/Lily and Remus/Tonks fan (yes, Bookworm likes some canon pairings, shocking) but while I do like Harry/Ginny I also think it's slightly bland and I'd only write it as a background to Next Gen fics. Unsurprisingly, I love Harry/Draco (on the condition that it is well written) as well as several other random slash pairings (such as: George/Lee, Seamus/Dean, Charlie/OMC (don't know why, I just always think he's gay) and Albus D/Gellert (which is basically canon, people, c'mon) )

1) Have you ever read a Six/Eleven fanfic before?

(James S P/ Neville) Y’know what, I actually have. Surprisingly there are a couple of very brave authors out there who took the whole ‘I can’t give a Professor love, Mum’ line to a whoooooole new extreme… :P what, it appeals to the cracky voice in my head: ‘Oh, this is ridiculous, this would never happen in canon… BUT THAT MAKES IT TOO AWESOME FOR WORDS -fangirls- -favourites madly-’

2) Do you think Four is hot? How hot?

Harry? … Do you even need to ask? If you are truly dense then yes, yes Mr Radcliffe/Mr Potter is rather gorgeous.

3) What would happen if Twelve got Eight pregnant?

Ooh… Well, in canon that would cause a very interesting soap opera-y conflict (OMG WHAT IF ONE OF THE KIDS’ DAD IS REALLY DRACO THAT WOULD BE SO COOL AND YET SLIGHTLY INCESTUOUS BECAUSE I SHIP SCORP WITH EVERYONE LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW…) but in my head!canon it would probably be something along the lines of either some epic threesome times, or Harry wanting a kid really badly (he strikes me as the paternal type) so Ginny acts a surrogate mother for him and Draco. Again, cracky voice in my head. It rules my life.

4) Do you recall any fics about Nine?

Little Lily Luna? Yes, I do. I like her a lot (yes, I KNOW she’s not really a canon character, but shush) and although she often seems to be in the background to the AS/S (lolololol- sorry, immature) stories I practically inhale, I’ve always wanted to write a story about her. She strikes me as a lovely, liberal, very practical type that would sort out her brothers’ epic melodramas in with a snap of her fingers and a roll of her eyes. :P

5) Would Two and Six make a good couple?

Wow, mini James is getting around in this meme! And no, I think I’d have to draw the cracky line there, I’m afraid. Just a tad too incestuous… Plus, James S P in my head!canon is like, bezzies with Fred Jr so that would just be awkward. Can you imagine the conversation?

James: Um, sorry mate, but I’m sleeping with your Dad.

Fred Jr: o.0 But… He’s your uncle!!
James: What can I say, those slash fans are pretty messed up…

Slashers: -crazed fangirl laughter- Yes, yes we are.

Or something like that. That’s totally how it would go.

6) Five/Nine or Five/Ten?

Sirius/Lily L or Sirius/Teddy. RIGHT. It’s epic battle times guys. Forget the Battle of Hogwarts, in fact, forget any other fictional battles, because this is going to be bigger than them all. It’s slash vs het. Dun dun DUUUUUUUN. xD

Thing is, they both have the potential for some epic time travel fun. Sirius/Lily L would be hilarious; with James Sr being all ‘You’re doing my GRANDDAUGHTER???’ and James Jr being all ‘You’re doing my BABY SISTER???’ and them bonding over that. And Sirius/Teddy would run along similar lines courtesy of Remus; ‘You’re doing my half-werewolf, more than half your age, SON??? That is messed up on so many levels’. Oh, the possibilities that time travel opens up.

So, truthfully, I don’t know. I think they’d both be awesome. I dare people to write them and then I can decide fairly. Tbh I’m not surprised- even dead, Sirius can really get around … xD

7) What would happen if Seven walked in on Two and Twelve having sex?

Ron: Bloody Hell! -covers eyes-

8) Make up a summary of a Three/Ten Fanfic

(Sorry, I’m just going to make this into a combo of my two favourite next gen couples, disregarding the instructions completely. Who’s going to stop me? Mwhahahaha)

Albus SP/Teddy L: ‘It was never about love. It was never about experimentation. It was never even a drunken one night stand. They were both in love with someone they couldn’t have, and their painful and messy relationship had blossomed from a need to dull that ache somewhat. And if Teddy moaned Al’s brother’s name once in a while, Al would keep silent, and in return Teddy knew to change his hair to blonde and his eyes to flinty grey without complaint. It didn’t matter. They were too hooked to care.’

(But I’d probably say something along the lines of a drunken one night stand if Ron and Hermione had had a fight or something, and then they both have mad angsting times in the morning. Soap operas forever!)

-shrugs- About Albus SP? Don’t know. Personally, I’m a fan of Albus/Scorpius but I bet there’s some het out there for the poor kid!

Well, in my head!canon it would be ‘JAMES’. But in JK’s it would be ‘VICTOIRE’. Who’s right, you decide. :D

Hermione/James SP/Draco… I’m thinking the pairing would be warning enough. O.o

17) How might Eleven describe a relationship between Two and Eight?

I’m thinking Neville would sincerely hope that he was having some sort of nightmare because he really, really would not want to picture Ginny and George as a couple. Poor old Neville. :P

18) How emo is Seven?

Not really. He has a bad temper, and he makes a couple of mistakes (read: storming out on Harry and Hermione in a fit of angst during DH) but he always comes back from them, and so I really don’t think he’s ‘emo’ per se. -hugs Ron- I do love him! :P

19) When was the last time you read a fic about Five?

Oh, very recently. He’s my favourite character after all! -hugs Sirius as well as Ron- There’s probably one open right now on my browser.

Okay. Hermione and Ron are in a happy relationship (oh, goody! Liking this so far! :D) until Lily Luna runs off with Harry (… I’m going to assume they ran off on some sort of father/daughter bonding experience. And why the heck would that explain Ron and Hermione’s relationship ending??? Hmm). Hermione has a one night stand with Neville (oh yeah, because Neville’s really the kind of guy who goes around having one night stands with his friends -deep sarcasm-) and an unhappy affair with Draco (-cue cries of happiness from dramione fans- Don’t worry slashers, in my head!canon Draco’s only unhappy because Harry’s run off on a holiday with his daughter and he misses him -cue smug smiles from drarry fans-) then follows the wise advice of Sirius (wtf?? Not only is he rather dead- this is now some kind of spiritual experience fic- but I never really had Sirius down for the ‘wise advice’ kind of a guy…) and finds true love with Albus SP. (… I shall not even dignify that with a comment).

I think I’d probably entitle it ‘Let’s see how far I can stretch fandom’s belief before I am torn to shreds by outraged readers’
