I'm a Naruto enthusiast. The world is very easy to mess around with and the characters are just wonderful to play with. I like Sakura fictions because it's difficult to get the girl out of character, since Kishimoto never did develop her much.

I believe fan-fiction is about more than just rewriting something because you don't like it. Fan-fiction, for me, has always been a learning experience. I learned how to write characters here, and learned to keep them in character. I learned how to write romance, which really isn't my strong suit. If it weren't for fan-fiction, I wouldn't be as confident in my writing abilities as I am now. I can see how much I've improved just from reading other fictions, by learning from the best authors on .

I also learned that fan-fiction is a way to keep something alive long after its main storyline has been completed. Even when the Naruto storyline finally ends, people will continue writing in the fandom because they enjoyed the show and they still want more. I believe that Harry Potter will live forever in fandom, even though the books came to a conclusion several years ago and the last movie will be released soon.

And, come on, it's kind of cool to figure out just what it takes to get two characters to end up together, even when its a crack pairing.
