Hey there, so my penname is It's Almost a Secret, because that's true of this account. I have another account under the penname Sparkling Patronus (/u/754057/Sparkling-Patronus) which is where I used to write when I was younger. This account started out as a side project where I could write my MvA fanfiction, but after a while it pretty much transitioned into becoming the main account I write on. Mostly I just don't want anyone I know to figure out I kept writing fanfiction after high school.

So what can I say about myself? I love science fiction and fantasy and I'm always intensely interested in characters, especially female characters, who have powers that make them dangerous in some way. I like writing about their perceptions of themselves and also about outside perspectives others have of them. So that's kind of the type of subject you can expect to read about in any of my work. I'm not great at keeping up with my stories unfortunately, so my multi-chapters do tend to go unfinished, something I'm not overly proud of. Unfortunately real life tends to get in the way and suck up all of my free time, and by the time I come back I've forgetten what my intentions for the story were in the first place. That said I do try to come back and work on things every once in a while when I can, so even if a story seems abandoned I might still finish it in the long run.

That's really all I have to say for now. I'm always popping in to write new things when a fandom spikes my interest, so you'll see me around from time to time when the mood strikes.
