Author has written 7 stories for NCIS, and Glee. My name is Eia... well it's Eliza but while coming up with a nickname some idiot (a.k.a. my best friend Derek) thought it would be a good idea just to take out the constonants. I'm just a Navy brat who's pen name obviously comes from the Marines motto and the fact that she loves her older brother's favorite sweatshirt. My father is currently deployed and I live with my 29 year old brother Sean because I'm not technically an adult. That being said I'm in high school. My other brother, Daniel, is 24 and just joined the Marines. I stole his sweatshirt before he left for Camp Pendleton. I'm extremely aware of how close this is to the iCarly situation but it was my family's first, considering it began when my mother passed in a car crash when Sean was 19 and I was 7. It was tough at first but we make it work. My favorite tv show is NCIS and I will probably write a good deal of that. My favorite book is Monster by Walter Dean Myers. I am fairly sure that there isn't a fanfiction section for that, not that I could write it in the first place. My favorite movie is Stick It and I am now very tempted to go see if there's fanfiction for that. Edit: There is. ;) My new favorite NCIS quote is Abby's "It's gotta be that damn mous-tache." Mostly because I'm currently watching Season 3's Singled Out, in which Gibbs is snitchy (Ziva's word, not mine.) and has a moustache. I also very much like Tony's "Very Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo, Boy Who Cried Wolf And Now Must Suffer Periodontal Disease For It." Can't remember what episode it's from but I love it. Edit: Damnit! I watched this episode a few days ago and I can't remember it except for that it is after Jeanne and I think season five. April 28, 2010: Okay. So, as I write NCIS fanfiction it astounds me how easy it is to keep the characters in character and how easy it is to make the characters out of character. As fanfiction writers, we are given characters as opposed to creating them. The NCIS characters are just so easy to bend reasonably and unresonably. Alright... Enough with sounding smart. It's story time! So I've been sick for the past few days and my throat has been seriously messed up. Sean is making fun of me for it. Dan too, but he's at the Naval Academy so he's been doing it over letters and phone calls. Yeah, I've been sick for awhile. Anyway, I'm not contagious so I went into school yesterday and I corrected my study hall teacher about some bio thing he was helping my friend with. He looked at me and said, "Thanks, Abbs." He's one of my favorite teachers, mostly because of his ability to completely dissect episodes of NCIS with me as well as the fact that he loaned me the first four seasons on dvd when I first got into NCIS. So it was like a little inside joke. So I laughed. But he's like, "No really, Eia. You sound like Abby." So I thought about it and I really did sound like Abby. It was like insane and I called him Gibbs for the rest of the day, during which I had two 80 minute study halls with him (I love my schedule). He called me Abbs all day and he even went down to the vending machine and bought me Hawaiin Punch, which is what Pauley Perrete drinks as Caf-Pow! I didn't stop laughing for like five minutes and everyone in my study hall got really mad at me. But I really didn't care. Anyway, I go home after lacrosse practice and my brother calls me 'Throat', which is what we call each other when either of us is sick. I told him I sounded like Abby and about all the stuff in study hall. He admitted that I won. Victory! May 1, 2010: Anyone else ever notice that Abby's shirt in Boxed In reads Daddy's Girl? No? Well then, darn you, all you so-called NCIS fans. May 5, 2010: Alright, I have literally just come to the realization that I love McGee-centric episodes such as Twisted Sister and Cover Story but I absolutely cannot read a completely McGee-centric fic. It's okay if he's there but otherwise I hate it. I think it might be because he's my favorite character and I can't stand to see him out of character. Edit: There are a few really amazing Timmy stories out there, my favorites belonging to Emerald1. Check them out. May 28, 2010: Three words- Glitter. Saturated. Joy. Now I just have to figure out a way to work that into my stories. June 14, 2010: I have just come to a realization. I am currently watching Bounce (6.16) where Tony tells Ducky that Valley Fever is the reason he will never return to Arizona. In the very next episode, South by Southwest (6.17) he and Gibbs go to Arizona to track down an artist using contaminated paints. July 26, 2010: I feel like I'm cramping my brother's stlye. He's brought home (as in our apartment) two dates in the last three months and they've all dumped him the day after they met me. I asked him about it and he was so sweet about it. He literally kissed me on the forehead and said "Don't worry, sweet cheeks. If they think you're insane then they're insane. And besides, If they think you're insane, what would they think about Dad and Danny-poo?" Of course Sean has been calling Dan 'Danny-poo' since I was born. He also started calling me sweet cheeks about the same time. But I just needed to right this down somewhere and I thought I'd share it with you guys. |
