![]() Author has written 5 stories for Shugo Chara!, Maid Sama!, Fairy Tail, and Fruits Basket. I may or may not know the way to Funkytown. Sup. Not the best at introductions in reality or online, but I hope you're doing great! I'm a broke af nursing student who enjoys world history, bad puns, movies usually found under the kids section, potatoes of all shapes and sizes, and is waaaaay too deep in it when it comes to Jellal "Heavenly-Body-Magic-Me-Up-Baby" Fernandes. A heads-up about my stories: T-rated work can contain suggestive content. Nothing completely in-your-face explicit but, regardless, here's the warning. I would really appreciate if you took the time to just send me some feedback or comments. Please don't feel shy because I would honestly love to hear back from you! ...: Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ :... Where To Find Me! Link to my Tumblr, where you can find more stories and drabbles that I didn't post to this site. Feel free to drop by and say hi! However, in case you can't access the link to my Tumblr, which I've been informed can be faulty, I've added the entire URL below: http ://argentum-famulus.tumblr. com/ Just copy and paste it (after taking out the spaces after "http" and before "com/") because apparently has some beef with direct URLs and links. ...: Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ :... Notes & Updates 2016-10-11 So, I uploaded a one-shot called Overture for Fruits Basket. I'd be lying if I said it was new (it's not) plus, it's all part of an elaborate scheme to avoid working on my course work as well as the next chapters of The Devil's Flower, The First Sign of Spring, and Red Pill, Blue Pill. Don't worry, guys. I hate myself enough for everyone. Okay, but on a more serious note, I'll try to update the latter three ASAP. With that being said, please don't expect anything until December. I'm sorry but life happens. So, continuing off on my thoughts on the story and Kagura as whole from the Author's Note in the story. Though a little rough around the edges, what she felt for Kyo was, or even became, genuine. Granted many would say otherwise, the argument centers on the idea "when does pity become altruism?" It's debatable. What isn't debatable is that whatever it was she felt for Kyo, her love was not reciprocated. Moreover, to give up that love for the sake of seeing him happy, that's a difficult feat for anyone to accomplish, let alone a teenage girl. So, no matter what's said and done, I felt that it had to be an emotional baggage she carries onto in her adulthood. Also, I know that Kagura/Ritsu bit was never canon but I always believed there was potential between them for something more than friendship. To me, that 'something more' was palpable in their interactions and so I thought I'd play on it. That being said, I have no idea who the man she's with is but, I firmly believe that he's someone who cares for her deeply and unconditionally. In due time, when she feels more grounded and comfortable, Kagura will find that she loves him, too. 2016-06-23 So, the third installment of Red Pill, Blue Pill and I have to say I'm curious as to whether anyone's figured out exactly why I named it as I did. But yes, back to the chapter, it's another prompt for Jerza Week 2016. fc (Guest): First of all, I hope you're doing wonderfully! And jumping right into my lengthy response, I just wanted to say that your reviews were so uplifting! I'm sorry I couldn't reply to you sooner but, as the saying goes, life happens! Okay, so for your first review can I just say that I feel so honored! It does a writer good to know that you felt so indignant to have your emotions picked on like that lol And you're right. I wouldn't call it pure angst either. I haven't yet found the courage to dive head first into pure, unadulterated angst cause I think I'd cry more than I'd write. I wanted it to seem like they were accepting of defeat much like Tower of Heaven but not without a fight or each other. As for the second review, I have to second the opinion on Erza tracing Jellal's tattoo. Like I mentioned, their romance is not blatant and in-your-face but something full of quiet, meaningful glances and measured touches. They scope out how the other feels before moving because as nice is talking is, sometimes they leave words behind because trying to describe some feelings are stifling. So yeah, they're more definitely more do than say. Laughing while kissing is my biggest weakness for these two. I JUST WANT THEM TO BE HAPPY. On a final note, please don't hesitate to point out my grammatical errors! I'm my own editor and I can only say that I try my best to keep everything in line. I love feedback of all sorts! Again, I can't tell you how happy your reviews made me! You made me gush with your gushing! Thanks for reading and I hope that I can keep you coming back because, yes, I plan to do all the JW prompts (although not necessarily in order of course) and more! ...: Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ :... First Sign of Spring FAQ 1) What's the age difference between Misaki and Takumi? Misaki and Takumi are first explicitly introduced as being 9 years old and near 17 years old, respectively. Thus, an age difference between 7 to 8 years. 2) Is there really a romance between Misaki and Takumi? (ie. did you make Takumi a pedophile?) I feel like there's a glaring misconception for the age difference that I present in the story and the fact that I put "romance" as a genre. I understand what I marked it as and did it intentionally. However, I do not and will not condone any form of pedophilia in the story. So long as Misaki is underage and unwilling, there will be no romantic relationship between her and Takumi. Some people might make light of it but, personally, it's a matter I take very seriously. Under no circumstances will I hint any amount of romance between these two characters within my story until each party is of legal age, complying with basic Japanese laws (because context). TL;DR Nononono, for the love of all that is holy and pure NO. Again: I do not and will not condone any form of pedophilia in the story and, therefore, no romance with Takumi so long as Misaki is underage and non-consenting. 3) When does the story take place? Simply put, during the Showa era of Japan, which was 1926-1989. In a year-based timeline, the story itself starts at 1928 and continues beyond that over a span of many years (like I said, build-up romance!) Obviously, with this 20s to 30s Japanese setting, the culture, tradition, and societal values, norms, and etiquette are very different from the Western standpoint. So, I try to make that an inherent structure and influence on the progress of the protagonists' relationship. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask via reviews or PM! I'll be happy to answer them as soon as I can! :) ...: Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ :... |
