Author has written 1 story for Twilight. Hey, peoples! The name's PlayingKitti2011 or Kitti or Cat or Katie or Katie Bug... well, you get the point. I love to read and write with a passion. Anywhere I go, you can always count on the fact that my nose is shoved into a book or my tongue is sticking out in concentration as I try to write. My friends are constantly trying to get me to pay attention for even a moment. I love to play volleyball. I play (well played) for my high school team. We're vicious when it comes to the game. Apparently womens' volleyball is more violent than mens'. -shrugs- Who knew? Unlike most people my age, I actually like going to school and not just to see my friends (even though I have been known to fall victim to the temptations of laziness from time to time). I love Math and History and have a love-hate (mostly hate) relationship with Physics. I am currently enrolled in university (higher learning and all that jazz) and I am majoring in Aerospace Engineering. I love to watch college football, but I can't be bothered with the NFL. Meh. I'm not really a people person. I'm the girl that likes to sit in the corner, reading or writing, by myself. If you listen close enough, you might actually hear me talking to myself. Yeah, I'm a bit odd, but I've accepted that fact and have moved on with my life. And while I may not be a people person, the people that actually had the ability to see past my oddness and shyness have been some of the only people that I can tolerate in my life. My friends are awesome and slightly odd, if not as odd as me. There isn't a time when we're not cracking up over something stupid that one of us might have done. And they like to read my writing and some of them actually think that I'm funny (that gives me the warm fuzzies xD), so I think I'll keep them around for a little while longer. Teehee. And now on to my favorite things... let's start with books (this could take a while, but we'll try anyway)... umm... I have a very eclectic taste in books, to say the least. One minute I'm reading a book about vampires, the next I'm reading one about a spy, and the next, I'm reading one about knights. I love The Mortal Instruments Trilogy; The Infernal Devices; The Twilight Saga; The Vampire Academy Series; The Complete Harry Potter Series; The Gemma Doyle Trilogy; The Song of the Lioness Quartet; The Immortals Quartet; The Trickster's Duet; The Gallagher Girls Series; The Heir Trilogy; The Morganville Vampires Series; The Vampire Kisses Series; Hush, Hush; and a lot more that I can't think of at the moment. Some of my favorite characters from the books and Manga I read are (not in any particular order): After reading and writing, music is my life. I live off of my music. I've grown up around it and for a little while I played the violin, viola, and a bit of piano. I love to sing as well. I can't help but sing along with all of the music that I listen to and if it doesn't have words, then I hum the tune. Just like my reading habits, my taste in music is all over the place. I love The All-American Rejects; All Time Low; Erin McCarley; Every Avenue; Fall Out Boy; Metro Station; Quietdrive; Scary Kids Scaring Kids; Secondhand Serenade; Senses Fail; The Used; Boys Like Girls; The Cab; Hoobastank; The Maine; Panic! At The Disco; Paramore; Red Jumpsuit Apparatus; Billy Currington; Brad Paisley; Carrie Underwood; Chuck Wicks; Gloriana; Josh Gracin; Keith Urban; Lady Antebellum; Sarah Evans; Taylor Swift; Tim McGraw; The Veronicas; Cascada; Relient K; Falling Up; Fireflight; Flyleaf; Three Days Grace; Celtic Woman; Colbie Caillat; Jason Mraz; Katy Perry; Rob Thomas; Vanessa Carlton; Bon Jovi; Dragon Force; The Goo Goo Dolls; Linkin Park; Nickelback; Queen; Saving Abel; Michelle Branch; Muse; Evanescence; and those are just a few of the many artists I listen to. When I'm not reading or writing or playing volleyball or listening to music or doing schoolwork, I love to watch movies. I love all of the Harry Potter films; The Propsal; Sweet Home Alabama; Twilight (yes, I watched it and I liked it); Underworld; Underworld II; all of the Pirates of the Caribbean films; She's the Man; Mr. and Mrs. Smith; Stardust; Transformers; Transformers II; How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days; Definitely, Maybe; No Reservations; A Walk to Remember; The Prince and Me; anything made in the 80's or 90's and a lot more that I can't think of at the moment. But usually, if it's a romantic comedy I'll watch it. I'm a hopeless romantic, so I love to listen to love songs, watch movies about love, and especially read about love. Almost every book or movie that I have, has some form of romance in it. I pretty much contradict myself in many ways. I love to read and write, but I hate English class. I'm a hopeless romantic, but I'm also a cynic (I can't really help that one. It runs in the family). I love to play sports, but I'm lazy as hell and I trip over air. And there's more, but I can't think of anything else at the moment. I have a slight case of OCD. I love to color coordinate everything for some reason. All of my texts books for school all have a certain color book cover that matches the color of the binder for that subject (I know, strange, but true). Umm... what else is there... oh! I'm not really a girl who likes a lot of bright colors. I prefer darker colors like black, deep red, navy blue, hunter green, dark gray. I despise the color pink with a burning passion. I hate dressing up. I find it superfluous and stupid. If I ever find myself wanting to dress up like a Barbie doll then I'd simply just throw myself off a cliff. I hate dresses and skirts and frilly things (ruffles give me nightmares). I love t-shirts and jeans and hoodies and flip-flops and converse (though I have come to love my Chacos). Those are like the only types of clothing that I own. And when I'm not doing anything else listed above, I'm sleeping. I love to sleep even though I never get enough of it. I have the strangest sleeping patterns ever. And on a weirder note, I love to name inanimate objects. My laptop's name is Ruth, my iPod's name is Magnus, my camera's is Leonardo DiCamera (haha, that one always gets a laugh); my iHome's name is Leander; my phone's name is Sergei, and there're many more. I'm a total cat person. I have a dog (her name's Cocoa and she's huge and loves to step on my feet) and I love her to pieces, but I prefer cats. I have one cat, a gray and white American Shorthair, and his name is Jack, but I like to call him, Boo, Boo-Boo Bear (don't ask), Kitty, Fluffball, and Jack Jack (he prefers that one. that and it's probably the only one he responds to. xD). Umm... fun facts... I still sleep with my stuffed dog that I got when I was two (his name is Puppy. I was two. Sue me.); I love eating dark chocolate; I own about twelve different hoodies (all different colors); I love math, but hate any math-based science; I shared a room with my sister for the past sixteen years; I wear reading glasses even though I'll probably need to start wearing them full time; my favorite mythical creatures are vampires; and clothes shopping is the bane of my existence. Well, I'm out of stuff to talk about, so I'll stop rambling on and on and on about my life. Thanks for reading! Later Peeps! Alright, guys. I've created a polyvore account for Let the Games Begin. So here's the link. |
