THE RYUUKATSU PROJECT: 'Ryuu' means dragon and 'katsu' is a word I've taken from another word that means 'resurrection', the Ryuukatsu Project is thus called the Resurrection of the Dragon Project. It is my complete dismantling and rewrite of the entire Dragon Ball / Dragon Ball Z / and Dragon Ball GT series. Includes a full series sequence and several side stories. My reasoning for doing this for this series is rather simple: I love the show. With all of my heart and I always will. It was my gateway anime into everything I've watched and loved so far in my life, and even though Yu Yu Hakusho is my favorite anime, the Dragon Ball series will always hold a special place in my heart. That being said, there's no denying the many problems that came with the show. Various plot holes, misunderstandings, things that could have gone differently, things that didn't make sense, things that were never addressed, and other various reasons that I have personally. As it is, this rewrite is meant to be read with an open mind. I dismantled the entire thing from start to finish and am in the progress of rewriting it, and I will completely redefine the series. This doesn't mean I don't love the original as it is, but this is merely my version and dream of how the series played out in my mind and in my dreams. I hope you can read my version and love it as well as still love the original version. I have finally set up the project's headquarters where you can find all of my thinking processes for the series (and much much more) as well as find all of the fics that fall under this project in one place, rather than trying to find them all on FFNET (because eventually there will be A LOT).
