The prequel and alternate universe stories will be updated, but there will be no direct sequel. I feel that the story has been told and writing a sequel will not add anything, for me at least.

Set within our modern world as we know it, this universe primarily focuses on the relationship between Deputy Morgan Rook and Jess Black, as well as the lives of the other residents of Hope County. My very firm headcanon that helpfully ignores the events of New Dawn.

The original. Writing began immediately after I finished Far Cry 5 with the Resist ending. Written because of my own shock and displeasure at the game's awful ending and a desire to give Jess Black the happy ending she deserved. Since then, has grown to something more.

And So, The Dark Age

Set within an alternate universe to The Huntress and Deputy canon.

A year after Eden's Gate is defeated, Great Collapse has come. An unknown enemy has detonated two nuclear warheads thousands of miles above the United States, creating a massive electromagnetic pulse (EMP) that blankets most of North America. The resulting EMP destroys almost all modern technology, effectively sending most of the country back to the Dark Ages.

Within weeks, much of the United States has fallen into anarchy. Food and medicine become precious commodities. Basic services that have been taken for granted disappear. Cities become warzones as supplies run low. In the countryside, bandits and raiders roam, attacking travelers and raiding towns. Violence, disease, and starvation reigns.

That is the story in most of America. Hope County, Montana, is spared the worst.

Its low population, natural defenses, and plentiful natural resources means its residents are ready to ride out the worst.

But of course, nothing good can last.

Enemies old and new will be at their gates soon. Deputy Morgan Rook, Jess Black, and other residents of Hope County must prepare for the hardest fight of their lives.

A prequel to The Huntress and Deputy. ON HIATUS- NOT ABANDONED!

Deputy Morgan Rook never imagined he would be fighting for his life against a militant doomsday cult.

People are looking to him to lead the charge against Eden's Gate. But, he's just some guy. There's no way one man can do this all alone.

Morgan has some friends. A sharpshooter. A pilot. A pyromaniac. Some guy named Hurk.

But there's someone else. Jess Black. A peerless huntress. A young woman filled with rage and a desire for vengeance. But, Morgan feels there's more to her than that.

And there's just something about her he can't get off his mind.

This is the story of two very different people who met during uncertain times. And there's more to their story than both of them expect.

My other focus at the current moment is Make Time. A Quantum Break fanfiction.

A story about Jack Joyce and Beth Wilder, who attempt to navigate their very unusual relationship amidst new challenges and new, unexpected developments.
