For me, crazy is a loose term. Crazy is when you stare at a pencil and laugh when someone asks you what you are doing that is so interesting about the eraser. Crazy is when you have an hour-long sob fest, and then start singing and dancing when your favorite song comes on. Crazy is when you do or say a completely random thing, like "Do you ever wonder where the eraser bits go?" or having a thumbwar with yourself. Crazy is when you type up all your favorite sayings, print them off and tape them to your wall, just for something to do. Crazy is when you're not paying attention when the teacher is rambling and you think of something funny from the other day that you don't realize is funny til that moment and you burst into hysterical laughter and the entire class turns around and stares at you and you look the other way and pretend you don't notice. Crazy is when you star in your own movie and pretend to be an assassin... multiple times. Crazy is when you scream for no reason or sing nursery rymes. Crazy is when you have a post-book comatose state after reading a book and then half an hour later are spouting off random qoutes, character facts and character descriptions to people you know don't give a (inert swear word of choice). You Know You're a Writer When;

Every time you hear a song, you think of a new story or one you've already written. (Need I list all my characters who exist because of songs?)
You have the last chapters of a story done before even thinking of the characters names.
You often imagine your books becoming movies.
Spell check is your best friend.
You give even the smallest of characters a huge background.
You hesitate before killing of one of your favourite characters. (No...just read Woundwort's Return. I killed everyone. *laughs evilly* I AM KIRA! Couldn't resist...)
You smile really big when you are going to finally write a character love scene.
Every time you read something, you make your own story of the same thing.
You'll spend an hour trying to find one word cause you won't dare use a synonym.
Not being able to write is like not being able to pee to you... you just can't hold it in for so long.
You write so fast, you leave out words in a sentence.
You have to tell at least one person your whole story before it's even written.
Things that are written badly annoy you and make you want to re-write it better.
You laugh at jokes you wrote yourself.
You can spell words like 'troublesome' but can't spell 'the' half the time.
If you are not writing or typing, your fingers are moving constantly.
You talk to yourself... constantly.
When you have to write some sort of story in class, you get carried away.
You would rather die than use words like 'good' or 'nice' and etc.
You put off the last chapter of a story simply because you don't want it to end.
You start to cry when writing about a death or other depressing event you knew was coming, and you are the one writing it.

You like to fidget, tap, or chew on the tip of something when you are trying to come up with a new sentence, paragraph, chapter, or story.

You dream about your stories.

You often revisit some of your old stories.
Someone can call your name twenty times without you hearing if you're writing.
You would rather talk to the voices in your head than the person sitting next to you.

Getting the scene finished is more important than coffee, the bathroom, or food. (Maybe not food...if there's chocolate, then, no, it's not.)
A blank wall becomes the screen where the scene you're writing takes place right in front of your eyes.
You can't write because you're mad at one of your characters.
You start to laugh out loud in public at what something your character might say.
Even though you try your hardest to resist, you often correct your own grammar on IM.
You talk to yourself about talking to yourself too much.
Your family/friends have come to the ignore the habit of your talking to yourself.
You've apologized out loud to a character after doing something horrible to them. (I'll be doing it again soon... D:)

You can randomly open to a page and know exactly what's going on. (And that is why I should not reread the Guardians of Ga'Hoole...)

Read the book until 4 A.M., then get back up at 7 to continue reading.

You write fanfictions about the book. (Every Frithing day!)

You try to get all of your friends (and everyone else) to read it. (Yep, they all hate me because they read all the books I recommend and I still don't want to watch the TV shows they watch...no offense Grimm2000 and Banannibo)

You accidentally call everyone by the characters' names. (Accidentally...no. My sister is Brambleclaw. I am Hawkfrost, and I WAS FRAMED! Brambleclaw did it! (Although I have said "Matsuda, you idiot!" to my friend more than once...)(And I call my sister "Sheep" a lot. But she likes it, so whatever.))

Everything reminds you of the book.

No...well, I no longer care, but I was going that road long before...

No...because my parents CANNOT know! If they could, I would be. Currently, I'm broke thanks to the bakery across the street from the karate studio.

You make me laugh. Of course it has. I can't even sit through the church service without thinking "We now know where they got Light's dramatic hand motions from. This preacher right here." Funnest church service I ever went to. XD

A friend is someone who will ask if there's a problem and then ignore it completely.
A best friend will know something is wrong and will ask you if you want to talk, then say 'when you're ready.'
A REAL friend will bug the heck out you, saying 'what's up? what's up? what's up?' to the point where you hit them and let everything go, and they'll say 'did you have to hit me that hard? DO IT AGAIN!!'
