Author has written 10 stories for Legend of Zelda, Deltarune, and Undertale. I am now releasing old and new stories on Archive Of Our Own under the same username. About Me: I've always preferred to write with attention to detail, so end up making long stories that spend a lot of time caring for. After publishing on this site since 2013, I feel that my writing skills have greatly improved and I'm privileged to have gained so much support for my work over the years. As I'm a stickler for quality I use the following process when making my stories: 1. Come up with an idea for a story, preferably one that hasn't been done before or not very often. My rule: think differently. 2. Toss the idea around in my head for a few weeks, let the chaos of my imagination play with it and fine tune it. 3. After finding the best plot choice from step 2, I begin by writing a plan for it, including a detailed story-line, character arcs, concepts of my own creation, and chapter content. This gives me some guidance when I get to writing the draft chapter and I can't remember what I wanted to put in it. 4. Write the story on Microsoft Word to reduce spelling and grammar mistakes. I used to write the full story before releasing the first chapter, but now I keep a buffer of 5 chapters. This allows me to read a chapter I'm about to upload with a fresh set of eyes. 5. Publish chapters at regular intervals. The reason that I do this is because I often find something that I missed or want to change in a chapter I've completed. Rather than edit and re-upload, I would much rather publish it perfectly the first time. Another reason is because I get annoyed when authors don't update after extended periods of time. Working on the story bit-by-bit every few days helps me avoid stopping and never completing a project, while also helping me chisel through writer's blocks. I've started off with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess fan-fics. This is because I love Midna. I feel like she was the sidekick with the deepest character and, unlike with Link's other companions, when she left at the end of the game I actually felt something, like there was unfinished business between her and Link. I have since branched out with other stories that are not LoZ related. I worked on The Legend of Spyro stories as a beta reader and published a Deltarune one-shot back in late 2018 (5 years after i began writing). I'm also considering projects in the original Spyro universe as well as Undertale. I thank all of the people who have encouraged me to keep up the good work as well as those who have pointed out flaws for me to improve on. There have been ups and downs both on this site and IRL, but I'm glad for the consistency that I've experienced from being a part of the fan fiction community. My Stories: Reconnecting - An Undertale/Deltarune crossover. Months after his adventures in the Dark World, Kris receives an unexpected message from his long-lost sister, Frisk. With Susie providing him with courage, Kris travels to Ebbott City, where Frisk and Chara await to be reunited with their little brother. The Strength of Courage - A modified version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The heroes of Hyrulean legend are all portrayed as fearless, yet Link, a young ranch hand living in Ordon Village, is viewed as somewhat timid by his neighbours and family. When his home is attacked and he is kidnapped by monsters, Link is forced into a perilous adventure to save his friends and his country. Follows the original plot with changes to certain events, characterisations, themes and items. Expect a unique ending unlike anything you can predict. Yule Always be Close - A side story taking place in The Strength of Courage. As winter deepens, Midna is pulled into a scheme to boost morale within Kakariko Village. It's Kind of Hard to Say No - Set in the Deltarune universe after Chapter 1. A chance run-in with her new friend's mother leads Susie to their house to work on the class project. During her unplanned visit, Susie learns a little more about Kris's life. Forever Together - Originally written by Magic Basher54986. Link inadvertently stops Midna from returning to the Twilight Realm, stranding her in Hyrule. While exploring their relationship on a new level, Link takes an interest in learning shadow magic from the Twilight Princess. Unfortunately the wounds from the war are still raw and Hyrule turns suspicious to its own hero, casting him out as a traitor. In search for a new home and a new life together, Link and Midna leave the sacred kingdom for the world beyond, along with an unexpected companion. Two Wolves - This a one-shot featuring Link and Midna living in the forest as wolves to avoid those who are against their love. In Time I Will Find You - A one-shot following the story of Twilight Princess, Link's wish to reunite with Midna leads him to cheating the system and taking his destiny into his own hands. In a race against time, he travels to the Arbitor's Grounds alone in hopes of meeting the companion that he has grown to love once again. A Link in the Food Chain - When you possess the ability to turn into an animal, there are certain consequences that affect the way you view the world. In this one-shot, Link struggles in a complicated battle between his conscience and his begging stomach. Fortunately Midna is there to help him through it. Let's Go to the Dog Show - Paying for the repairs to the sky cannon was an expensive investment. In an attempt to escape the discomforts of camping outdoors, Midna convinces a reluctant Link to take part in a scheme to earn some fast cash. The Peacekeepers - This is a story set after the events of Twilight Princess and is my first publication. Link has been living in Ordon for the past few months in anger and depression which has had severe effects on his daily and social life. One day a man who calls himself a Peacekeeper shows up at Link's house, offering a job and a chance to reunite with Midna. Beta Stories: The following is a story that I have supported as a beta-reader. Mistreated (by htffan951) [Remastered] - This story is set in an alternate version of the Legend of Spyro. After the end of a war with the dark dragon, Malefor, a purple egg was laid by two parents who looked down upon it in disgust. They named the hatchling inside Spyro and raised him as a slave. Beaten after failing a simple errand and thrown onto the streets grievously wounded, hope becomes non-existent for poor Spyro. A black dragoness named Cynder offers his first taste of kindness, and together they seek to survive in a cruel world. Unfortunately for Spyro, his troubles extend beyond the world around him as a darkness takes life within his own mind. Panacea (by htffan951) - Spyro and Cynder have spent the last six years on the run, constantly moving to avoid the people who pursue them. But when tragedy strikes, a reluctant return to Warfang drags the two lovers back into the dangers they sought to escape. Meanwhile, Hunter must face his own trials as his past comes back to haunt him. The Legend of Spyro: The Purple Dragon (series by Thomas Holmes II and co-written by Erin-the-Gamer1990) - A merge between trilogies, this story retells the Legend of Spyro. When the Dark Armies take their parents prisoner, Spyro and his siblings, Sparx and Elora, must join forces with the last Guardian to free the people of Avalar and defeat the forces of Malefor. |
