Hello again, all! Just here for a lil update to apologise again for my lack of activity!

There is an update in the works for anyone who is waiting, but I can't say for sure how long it will be until you get it.
School this year has been wild for me, and involves a lot more homework than it used to, so forgive me for everything. ; v ;

Oh hey, I'm really sorry about this unannounced hiatus, guys... (Well, semi-announced...)

I'm going on a mysterious training journey called 'high school' and also Haikyuu!!. But don't worry! I'll come back!

As soon as I have re-ignited my inspiration - 'cause you guys should know by now that I'm not going to give you a chapter I didn't put my heart and soul into.

Since this is also relevant, I believe in equality and freedom. If homosexual people wish to be homosexual, they should do so. People deserve the freedom to do and be who they please - the more restrictions we put on the masses, the closer we get to living in the dystopian fiction story where the government controls our every breath. Love 'em. One of my favourite things EVER. My persuasive thingy; if you have a friend who's an aspiring author, and they ask you to read their story, you don't just read it and then walk away without saying anything, do you? No, you say, "That's awesome!" or "This could have been better" or "Here's how to improve" or "I liked this part".

I will now proceed to recommend my favourite FMA fanfics. Now, this is just my opinion but... I graded them on this;

Skill - Grammar and layout and flow and all that nice stuff.
Story - The idea, originality, the plot and everything.
In character - Not out of character...?

Don't be sad if you think it deserved more stars - if you do, PM me and I'll grade it up one. The authors included. Just remember I love ALL these stories SO MUCH, so even if it didn't get five stars in a specific area, it's still PERFECT!

DAILIES BY ARKTOS

This. Is my hands-down favourite multi-chapter short story fic OF ALL TIME. I could rave about this for MILES, but I'll cut it short. Each story is amazingly written, brilliantly in character and with a fantastic idea behind it. I think I've scared the author a few times with my reviews, but it was worth it if I could get through to them HOW AWESOME THEIR STORY IS!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! This is my favourite and everyone who has ever heard me talk about it will know that. My sister needed to throw a book at me to make me shut up.

Length: Long, but not if you count by chapters.

CRASH BY SEVLOW

My favourite story...ON ALL OF THIS SITE. THAT'S RIGHT. THE WHOLE DARNED THING. I READ IT BEFORE I HAD A PROFILE AND IT TOOK ME A FULL YEAR TO TRACK IT DOWN AGAIN. BUT I DID NOT GIVE UP. THAT'S HOW MUCH I LOVE IT.
It's set on a really cold, super snowy afternoon in Amestris, when the military vehicle Roy, Ed and Havoc are travelling in collides with a truck and a horrific accident ensues. Ed and Roy are trapped in the car, Havoc is down and everyone else is dead. A brilliant story of loyalty and endurance, and let me tell you, IT KICKS YOU RIGHT IN THE FEELS. In character 'til the end, I'm BEGGING you to read this fic.

Length: Mid-size AND EVERY WORD IS PERFECT.

By Chance or Changing Course by Arktos - A brilliant Parental!RoyEd. I'll assume it has been discontinued, but what's there is DEFINITELY worth reading. Basically, a train explodes, the two of them are lost in the cold north and Edward has been temporarily blinded. EPIC TALE ENSUES

One of my favourite funny stories on this site, it lists funny scenarios and parodies for FMA characters to get stuck in... In short, an explosion of pop culture. That one's a must read if there ever was one.

Privileges by MoffandAvencore - This is another selection of short stories based on the Elric brothers. To be honest, I'm jealous I didn't think of this myself! It's a really great idea, really cute and super awesome. It mostly covers little bits and pieces the series missed originally, and each of them are really great! I loved reading this SOOOOOOOO much.

100 Faces of Roy Mustang by Firefly264 - A collection of short-short stories about our beloved idiot genius jerkass pyro Colonel. I like this story a lot because I like Roy a lot, and it really does his character justice. There is one chapter in there I really love because the symbolism is beautiful. (I almost cried like Armstrong.) Go read that if you're looking for something short (feels, humour or otherwise).

Outsmarted, Outgunned, Outwitted and Dwarfed by Doppler Effect

A short and humourous retelling of Roy's men meeting Edward and Alphonse. It is hilarious, bloody well written and could easily be canon because of how in character everyone is. Definitely a favourite of mine, please take a look. It's worth your time. Short and witty and Roy gets absolutely PWNED by Ed. What more could you want? XD

Signed: From Your Not So Loyal Author by Kazekage of the Suna - In a nutshell, it is Gaara's diary. It's very well written and freaking HILARIOUS. I swear, no joke is out of bounds in this story, and the Sand Sib's interactions are so funny. (If you like it, also read 'Signed From: The Sand Siblings'.)
