![]() Author has written 2 stories for Fairy Tail, and Harry Potter. Greetings, my faithful followers. Greetings also to casual readers, bored internet perusers, and those unfortunate souls cajoled here by well-meaning but misguided friends. I am grateful to each and every one of you for your time, consideration, and commentary. I hope you like what you see. Why do I write? The eternal question. I write for me, for you, for money, lots of reasons really. I write fanfiction especially because it's a way to procrastinate "real" writing, which involves such trivial tasks as designing my own characters, original plotlines, etc, etc. I like to think of this as good practice for that. If I'm being entirely honest with myself, I also write it because your kind praise strokes my already burgeoning ego. What do I write? That's easy. I write what I read, and I have discovered within myself a guilty adoration for crossovers, time-travel fics, and good grammar. That said, I've come to a realization: the best fanfiction, in my opinion, comes from series that had a lot of unfulfilled potential. Has anybody else noticed it? Take Naruto as an example. We (meaning me) all loved it as kids, right? But after Sasuke left, the entire series just...deflated. Where was the team bonding? The rivalry? Hell, the dramatic tension? And yet, my favorite thing to read is Naruto time-travel fics. Go figure, right? The real trick is finding a finished one. CURSE YOU, INCONSISTENT AUTHORS! (hypocrisy warning) I think I've finished rambling now. Scroll down to find something actually worth reading.
