My life is chaotic and random, so my chapter updates will be as well. I like constructive criticism. I try hard to make sure grammar and spelling are correct; however, I know some mistakes will be made. Also, I will use bad grammar as the story requires. If you notice I missed something, let me know. But please, for the love of Creation, don't demand/request that I change something so you'll like it better.

One last thought for you, if you use a program like OpenOffice or Microsoft Word to write with, then copy and paste, it will help you find spelling errors BEFORE you post them. Granted, using poor grammar/spelling helps with speaking, the most common errors I find online are "ad/an" instead of "and," and using the wrong word. For example "there" for "their" or "here" for "hear." I hate it when I do it, and hope that someone will let me know when I do do that.

Not much time in my life to work on Mask. Sorry about that. lately I've been reading a lot of HP fanfics and I've noticed a distressing common theme among them. Then incident with the Firebolt in 3rd year seems to be a favorite 'pick on Harry' point. In other words, most authors lay the entirety of blame on Harry. Both parties were wrong. However, the situation is entirely Hermione's fault. She stole (sneaking into the boy's dorm and taking without permission is theft) the broom and gave it to a professor. If she had spoken to Harry, without Ron around to influence him, before doing so, he may have agreed with her. She betrayed his trust and friendship with her actions. Harry, however, should have spoken with her about this and not followed along with Ron's 'blame the bookworm' attitude. (Given his upbringing, Rawling's idea has merit.) My point, Hermione is wrong for starting it, and Harry is in the wrong for letting it go on for so long and nearly loosing a friend over it. I never did understand why Ron was kept around except as comic relief.

I've been doing a lot of reading on and a few other similar sites. I notice many authors wanting Beta's or complaining about the lack there of. My big issue is that I have had 2 people in 3 years ask me to beta, but they never responded back when I would ask questions. So I turned my Beta profile off. And yet, recently I have seen more people complaining about Betas. Look, if you want a Beta, then do a search for them. Ask if they have time. I don't use a Beta for my story because I only write when I'm motivated. No point in keeping a Beta for a random chance at an update.

Over the last couple of months, I have offered my services to people. Sadly, nothing came of it. STOP COMPLAINING IF YOUR NOT GOING TO USE BETAS! I enjoy helping people improve their writing skills. I know I'll never be as great as Timothy Zahn, but I can dream right? (If you don't know, he's one of the greatest Star Wars novelists of all time)
