![]() Author has written 32 stories for One Piece, Legend of Zelda, Sherlock Holmes, WordGirl, and F-Zero. NOTICES All of my ONE PIECE stories are on hiatus indefinitely, and Miss Baroque Works is hereby canceled. My OP stories weren't very good to begin with anyway, in my opinion. Some of my Sherlockian works are on hold 'til I can get back in the swing of writing. Have been horrifically busy, and I do apologise greatly, BUT...you are getting these for free, as a labour of fun and love on my part, so complaining really can't happen. XD (7-21-13) Been a Sherlockian for six years. :) (1-21-14) All right, so I have decided to publish (yes, really publish--definitely digitally, possibly in print) some of my pastiches and works here. I plan on illustrating The Curse of Two in a Sidney Paget-like way and using a font similar to the original Strand copies. Brother and On the Streets of Paris are planned for publication, too--they will be HEAVILY revised and probably added to considerably. Will I illustrate them? Probably not--they are quite long. But I will draw up a cover JUST for them. They will be published separately--not as a whole. ART: Go see my DeviantART account at http:// There you will find Sherlockian, Nintendo, A-Team, Star Trek, and ONE PIECE fan art, including occasionally illustrations to my fanfictions & other people's, and occasionally cross-overs of my fandoms. (An example of my art is my avatar.) FORUMS: http://www.fanfiction.ws/forum/Fanfiction_Workshop/43940/This is the link to my Sherlock Holmes forum, the Fanfiction Workshop. Not only is it a place to get advice on fanfics and see how I'm progressing with mine, but there are also sections dedicated to miscellaneous chatting, Sherlockian art, and Christian Sherlockians, as well as a guide to the abbreviations of the canon. Before you ask: No, I have not seen the new "Sherlock Holmes" movie with Robert Downey Jr. I don't go to movies on a whim, having better things to do, and I certainly am not going to go to see an uncanonical flick and give them my nine bucks. REVISION I still have not seen it, but I loathe it. It has brought an immense influx of slash and other such uncanonical nonsense. New note: I've also not seen the BBC series. It's unlikely I ever will, even after my fast ends. I don't like reboots. Not of the A-Team, not of Star Trek, and not likely of Holmes. bcbdrums has seen it, I'll get her opinion once my fast has ended. Misc. Info: Hullo there! If you're reading this, you're either exceedingly bored or want to know more about me! ...Perhaps you should get a hobby. My username: It comes from my early ONE PIECE fandom days (but NOT the American ONE PIECE, which was perfectly horrid). It is therefore, naturally, Japanese: 'kaizoku' ( 海賊 ) means 'pirate', and 'shojo'ーーwell, technically shoujoーー( 少女) means 'girl'. So yes, my username does mean pirate girl. I would change it, but I have other accounts at various places with the same username, and I try to be fairly consistent. To make things easier, feel free to call me "Kai" for short. (Thanks to Clarobell of the One Piece section here for coming up with that nickname first!) I am a firm Bible-believing Christian, so you will NOT find me writing slash and other such things. As a Christian, I also love everyone and try to be nice and polite. I have a high tendency in A/Ns, reviews, and forums to overuse chat smileys--a habit I picked up from being on DeviantArt. I tend to use ones like: XD, xD, :), :P, :D, D, 83, 8D, and so on. Things I like: Anything to do with the Lord Jesus; Sherlock Holmes; my own series Sword Hunter; drawing; reading; The A-Team (1980s), Star Trek: The Next Generation; good comedy; music (classical, Christian, and Nintendo BGMs, mainly); Pokemon; Zelda; Mario Bros.; F-Zero; Smash Bros.; Freakazoid!; and many other things. Identities on other sites: KaizokuShojo: DeviantART, YouTube, fanfiction.net. Kai_Sherlockian: , LiveJournal. Best friend: Bcbdrums, found here http://www.fanfiction.ws/u/1526580/bcbdrums Some Favourite Quotes: SHERLOCK HOLMES: --"A man should keep his little brain attic stocked with all the furniture that he is likely to use, and the rest he can put away in the lumber-room of his library, where he can get it if he wants it." --"Violence does, in truth, recoil upon the violent, and the schemer falls into the pit which he digs for another." --"We balance probabilities and choose the most likely. It is the scientific use of the imagination." --"To let the brain work without sufficient material is like racing an engine. It racks itself to pieces." --"I am not the law, but I represent justice so far as my feeble powers go." VICTOR BORGE: --I normally don't do requests. Unless, of course, I have been asked to do so. --Laughter is the shortest distance between two people. The more we smile the less we fight, because to my knowledge, no one ever fought smilingly...and won. --Occasionally, a finger comes up to wipe a tear of laughter from the eye, and that's my reward... The rest goes to the government. --The difference between a violin and a viola is that a viola burns longer. --So now I would like to say something warm and gracious...Good gracious, it's warm in here! MONTY PYTHON: There are a great many people in the country today, who through no fault of their own, are sane. |
