![]() Author has written 81 stories for Sherlock Holmes, StarTrek: The Original Series, Sonic the Hedgehog, Quantum Leap, Sherlock, Batman the Animated Series, Road to Eldorado, Kim Possible, and Frozen. hello and welcome to my page! actual news! (july 2018) I have been posting all of my new work on AO3. A couple of things are cross-posted. Someday, I will cross-post everything new there over to here since I consider this my "home base" for writing. It's just easier to publish on that site; less hoops to jump through. You can ignore the "news" section below; it's only there for my personal reference since I've forgotten what fics I've left incomplete here. My desire to complete them hasn't left, I just have less time to write and truthfully less creativity than I did ten years ago. I will always be grateful to KCS and her writing challenges that sparked a creativity and motivation in me that I hope to recapture someday, and to my dear friend KaizokuShojo with whom I have had the deepest writing and storytelling experiences and character studies of my life. When I think on those specific experiences or read back over our unpublished works, the "old spark" returns and I feel as if an entire world of creativity has opened to me each time. So again, thank you to those wonderful people. I still write regularly, but publish infrequently. I sadly have two unfinished fics on AO3 due to a crashed hard drive. And writer's block is always a problem. But I still write. Visit me over on AO3, or give my older stuff here a look. Particularly good reads are "Compelling Curiosity" and "The Logical Thing," the latter of which has a sequel and prequel over on AO3. news (2014)! unfinished fics: Tormented Volition - originally a catch-all for drabbles, but now quite the serious story that has taken a life of its own! still being written in drabbles and updated fairly regularly. connect with me on my other sites! i hope to enjoy reading your wonderful writing soon. forever, about my writing i write for many fandoms, the principle ones being 'star trek: the original series' and 'sherlock holmes' (canon and BBC). i write plenty of other stuff, too. just whatever strikes my fancy. usually it's strong character development opportunities that grab me. all my fics are based in a universe's canon as closely as possible, and when i write AU stories or crossovers it's usually for the writing challenge the context presents. i am happy with most canon, and when i'm not, i see fic writing within the canon as an even greater challenge. if i'm really not happy with canon, i just don't write for it. i NEVER leave a story unfinished. often on hiatus (unfortunately), but never unfinished. that's a promise. (yes, i still think often about "all is memory.") my internet activity at age 20 it was easy to have an online social life. that dissolved almost immediately once i had a real job and real responsibilities. so while i am on the computer almost constantly when i'm at home (YouTube binging mostly), i never check messages on any site. if you really, really want my attention try Tumblr private messaging or Facebook. every now and then i'll check fic comments on AO3 as well. about me i am employed as a full-time elementary school music teacher. i have a bachelor's of music degree in education, and a single subject teaching credential in music. my teaching philosophy is based on child development--teaching to the developmental needs of the brains in front of me rather than drilling a curriculum--and i primarily teach from a program called "education through music." in my opinion, everyone should study this program. especially people who have or work with children. learn more at http:/// i am a percussionist. i enjoy playing in large orchestras and wind ensembles, but i also enjoy chamber works and solo performing and the occasional church gig. as a music teacher i play many instruments, some of my other favorites being piano, guitar, and trumpet. i also love to sing. you can hear me playing guitar and singing on youtube. i also enjoy live sound engineering and have been doing that regularly in a variety of venues (indoor and outdoor) for over ten years. in addition to writing fanfiction, i enjoy reading, drawing, performing music, composing and analyzing music, watching tv and YouTube, playing videogames, browsing Pinterest and tumblr, and being generally lazy in my spare time. i live on a farm in the pacific time zone of the usa, and i raise chickens. i am a Christian. i believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God. i believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died and rose again, and that through Him and Him alone are sins taken away. God is first in my life and always will be. my family and friends come next, and if you get to know me you will find that i am one of the most loyal and merciful creatures God created. even if i disagree with you in many things, you'll find that i treat you as if you are a close friend and that i'll stick with you through eternity. about my avatar my favorite color, purple. and my favorite instrument, timpani. my best friend please check out the page of a wonderful human being, KaizokuShojo. please also look at her deviantART page, because her true passion lies there. thank you for stopping by my page, and i hope you enjoy my fanfiction! |
