I love writing, and I absolutely love writing fanfic. I’m always to aching to explore character dynamics and relationships that I felt were underdeveloped in canon. I write what I like read, meaning I end up writing a lot of romance/love stories. I’m also a multishipper. What can I say? Some characters are like a good little black dress—they go with everything. Crack ships are also very appealing.

Below is a (by no means comprehensive) list of the fanfic I'm writing/I'm planning to write. If anything that hasn't been posted looks interesting to you, let me know! I’m always open to suggestions/prompts.

GINTAMA

Kids Will Be Kids

Summary: When a magical fish transforms Kagura into her 5-year-old self on Sougo’s watch, he’s tasked with escorting her to a distant planet to find a cure—an assignment that becomes infinitely more difficult when the two of them are kidnapped by space pirates.

Characters/pairings: Kagura & Kamui sibling vibes; Sougo x Kagura (very slow burn)

Genre(s): Humor, Drama, Adventure, Family, Romance (?)

Rating: T. There’s definitely some violence, but I don’t think it warrants an M rating. It’s not as bad as Gintama.

Notes: Like the source material, this story starts out fluffy, crack-y note and then gets really intense. I love sibling angst. KWBK was on a brief hiatus for the past few months, but it will update in about a week! Stay tuned. Summary: Getting forced into a marriage meeting with your ex-girlfriend would be a nightmare to most people. Sougo chose to view it as a second chance.

Characters/pairings: Kagura x Sougo

Genre(s): Romance, Drama

Rating: M for sexual references

Notes: This story is based on the 2017 Okikagu week prompt, "Breaking Up". I wanted to write an awkward rom-com-type situation with Kagura and Sougo as adults, but in a refreshing, Gintama-like style... After working on KWBK for so long, I really liked writing something that was both more mature and more light-hearted. It’ll be about 2–3 chapters.

Heads or Tails

Summary: Collection of Okikagu drabbles based on one-word prompts, set in a variety of contexts.

Characters/pairings: Kagura x Sougo

Genre(s): Romance, Friendship, Angst, Drama…a little bit of everything.

Rating: K plus to T? So far

Notes: I wrote these as creative exercises while I was frustrated with not being able to put that much Okikagu into KWBK during arc ii. These will update sporadically. Leave a review or send me a message with a one-word prompt!

Rivalry

Summary: Sougo can’t believe it when the freaky little spitfire from his 8th grade class gets a boyfriend. (Childhood friends/frenemies middle school AU, Sougo doesn’t want to admit he’s jealous haha)

Characters/pairings: Sougo x Kagura, Hongo Hisashi

Genre(s): Romance (I feel weird calling puppy love romance but w/e), Friendship, Humor

Rating: K plus

Notes: School AUs are the best, aren’t they? This story will be like 5 chapters or so, and pretty pure (as far as Okikagu can go). I feel like the middle school setting is very true to the dynamic between Sougo and Kagura.

NARUTO

Team Haruno

Summary: I’ve written over 15k words of this story, but I don’t have a succinct summary for it yet. Basically, Itachi and Sasuke get put on a team with Sakura as their jonin-sensei, and they kind of grow up and heal together. Non-4th Shinobi WW AU

Characters/pairings: Itachi x Sakura, Sasuke

Genre(s): Romance, Adventure, Angst, Fluff

Rating: T, for now. Haha…jk……unless?

Notes: The fact is, Itasaku is 100% a crack ship, but it’s simultaneously one of the most popular ships outside canon. Crazy stuff. I think it’s because they have such a unique blend of complementary character traits and similarities and you can just…picture them being really amazed at how the other sees the world. Anyway, this fic has been really fun to write, especially Itachi feeling intense internal conflict about developing feelings for his team leader (and calling Sakura “sensei”).

Dominion

Summary: Sasori thought he understood control…and then he met a pink-haired medic-nin from the Land of Fire. (Our favorite puppet boy wakes up in a hospital bed with no memories from the past 20 years and imprints on Sakura like a baby duck.) Told in snippets

Characters/pairings: Sasori x Sakura, I feel like Deidara will be in there a good amount too

Genre(s): Romance, ?Adventure?

Rating: M. Nothing specific in mind yet, but with these two it’s just a matter of time til things get bloody.

Notes: Admit it—if you like Sakura and you watched her fight with Sasori in the caves, you ship Sasosaku at least a little bit. Sasori being impressed by Sakura’s abilities? Sakura proving once and for all that she is, in fact, a badass? Sasori’s final thoughts being a positive view of her? That’s the good stuff right there. If the age gap squicks you out, rest assured that they’re the same age in this story.

Second Lead Syndrome

Summary: Sasuke knows his wife is touch-starved, so he enlists the help of the one person he thinks will never develop feelings for her. Sai’s never had a seduction mission before. Post-war, poly vibes?

Characters/pairings: Sasuke x Sakura x Sai

Genre(s): Romance, Drama

Rating: M. For real.

Notes: SaiSaku is so wholesome. SasuSakuSai is…a little less wholesome. Yum. Of course there’s going to be unrequited (?) feelings, jealousy, and possessiveness as well because it’s my kink.
