It's been three days since Loki joined the Avengers Initiative, two months after the battle of New York City. Loki's body decides to kick off the celebrations by fainting...multiple times. How will the other Avengers react to this new development? And will Loki feasibly be able to join the team if his problem continues? Reviews are candy!

Life on Midgard after the defeat of Thanos is... complicated. Loki's got an entire people to look out for, an infuriating brother to deal with (and perhaps protect, if he's in the mood) and a lot of Avengers to contend with. Alright, I have decided to share a few scenes, which I have written for my main fic but then discarded for various reasons. Some of them are mere scraps of conversation, which I find too funny not to share, some are entirely written and edited 3k word scenarios that never made it into the final version because I changed my mind. What would have happened if Thanos had killed Thor instead of Loki? - BEING TAKEN DOWN FOR REWRITING IN ONE WEEK

Updated: this is no longer a oneshot but a retelling of Thor Ragnarok where Loki has some...issues. Starting with a fear of falling.

What if Thanos had used someone other than Thor to convince Loki into handing over the Tesseract.

Thor returns to Asgard after his fight with Malekith to find his brother alive. Odin reopens the wound that Loki had received on the Dark World. It is a struggle between the Avengers when Thor appears on their doorstep and begs them to help his brother. Only time and forgiveness will allow the past to lie behind them all. For Loki it is an ultimatum that will decide his future.

When Loki steals the tesseract in the chaos of Stark's sudden cardiac arrest, he tries to bargain for his freedom, but things go awry, and he could only turn to Thor. As misunderstandings are cleared up, it almost seemed like everything would be alright, but all paths must converge eventually. CONTAINS UNNECESSARY AMOUNTS OF BROTHERLY FLUFF YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

His world had turned still. The moment he was completely submerged in the shifting waves, his world had turned still...Over and over he tried to break through to the surface, but a weight held him down. Something was holding him down in a vicious, unrelenting fashion. No, wait… They were hands. Loki is drowning and someone is trying to kill him. Would this be the end for them?

Loki is freed by Thanos, and given a new mission - to kill the Avengers. But nothing goes to plan, and when he arrives at Stark Tower he is more broken than he has ever been before. Insanity is never merciful. But Thanos is growing impatient, and Loki will have to find a way to heal before it is too late. WARNING: self-harm and mentions of torture.

The trip through Doctor Strange's portal does not end quite so amusingly. If there is one thing Loki is most afraid of, it is falling.

A oneshot about what happened on the Statesman in between Ragnorak and Thanos' arrival. Gives a deeper look into Loki's mind and actions throughout the MCU, has hurt/comfort, and platonic Thorki. Originally inspired by a fanart of Loki bandaging his own wounds and then it gained a lot of depth. Includes a lot of sun analogies for obvious reasons.

After witnessing the destruction Thanos leaves in his wake, Valkyrie and Bruce Banner find themselves on a high-stakes quest for answers, while Loki makes a deal that balances his soul on the edge of a knife. But in a universe full of illusions and threats, nothing is straightforward, not even one's own reflection. Spoilers for IW.

Loki had been defeated. And by 'them'. Now, he must face Odin and receive a "just punishment". But the punishment is not as "just" as Thor or Loki thought it would be. Loki couldn't bring himself to care as much as he felt ought have. In fact, he was grateful; at least if he was going to die, he would be unconscious for some of it.

After being killed by Thanos, Loki learns that his claim at being Odinson is not as accepted as he thought. Rejected from the halls of Valhalla, he is left a wandering spirit. But he still has one thing left, one last bond. A bond and a love worth dying for. His bond with Thor. And as long as any part of him still exists, he will not leave Thor to suffer and face the titan alone.

Loki is violently attacked and sexually assaulted. The aftermath is not pretty, and neither is his revenge

Loki is saved by Thor on Svartalfheim. Torn between being grateful to Loki for helping him defeat Malekith and saving Jane, but still remembering all the terrible deeds his brother has done, Thor must face the decision what to do with the emerald-eyed god now. He promised Loki vengeance and afterwards his cell. It doesn't seem right to Thor anymore, but Odin seems to disagree.

Post-Avengers. As Thor and Loki were ready to depart for Asgard, the Tesseract becomes unstable and opens a portal. Another Loki emerges claiming his name is "Tom". Chaos ensues as they meet their counterparts one by one. RE-POSTED.

SPOILERS for Infinity War. Right after the opening salvo, a certain not-dead someone and a ragtag bunch of what's left of Asgard (and some gladiators) will have to stop Thanos. How hard could it be? Rated T for some language and if we're lucky, a fight for revenge!

His family does not care for him. He does not care for them. Those are the facts. Or at least, Loki thinks those are the facts. But then, strange things start to happen around his prison cell, Asgard is threatened, and Loki is forced to reevaluate.

SPOILERS for Avengers Infinity War Loki had sworn his undying fidelity to Thanos, hadn't he? Then Thanos wouldn't let Loki die and get off the hook so easily. He has better plans for the God of Mischief. How will Loki escape now? Rated T just in case...

The war has begun. In the middle of it, it's Strange who finds Loki first. He's supposed to be dead but he keeps pestering anyway. To be fair, the guy does try to help in his infuriating way though not without shortening Stephen's lifespan by stress first.

A mission gone wrong leaves one member of the team injured and the rest of the team reflecting on their past mistakes. Tony, Steve, Thor, Loki, Bruce, Natasha and Rhodey must find a way to band together before the next mission arises, otherwise the team will fail once again and dissolve completely. But first the team must learn to forgive each other and learn to trust.

"I never wanted the throne! I only ever wanted to be your equal!"-Loki. After the Prince of Asgard spoke these words, he proceeded to try to take over planet Earth. If Loki never wanted to rule, what possessed him to try to rule the world? Why did he look so weak and unfocused? Do we really know the whole story?

SPOILERS for Infinity War. Set during and post-Infinity War. Loki and Thor angst. Can't really say much else in the summary without giving spoilers.

Takes place after Thor: Ragnarok. It follows Thor after his battle with Hela on the ship. Pain racks him from all sides. Chapter one physical, chapter two emotional and physical. INFINITY WAR SPOILERS What could have happened in the first 10 minutes of the movie so our hearts wouldn't have broken so early, or at least not as much. A collection of one-shots that either fix Loki's death, avoid it, or make it less pointless than it was. Will be classified as complete, as no chapter will relate to another except in being largely based around the same scene.

Thor, Loki, Natasha and Steve embark on a mission to find a mythical stone that could even the odds and give the Avengers a fighting chance against Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet. The mission, however, goes awry. Pain, bonding, trust and forgiveness abound. (non-canon, just a random idea I had)

This is just a little angst and brotherly love story I thought of. It takes place after Ragnarok, but doesn't really contain any spoilers. Besides that there is a Trigger!Warning in places for mentions of self harm and a mildly graphic scene containing it.

The Avengers really weren't sure what Thor had been up to since the fight with Ultron. But they certainly weren't expecting Loki to pop up on Earth with a bunch of refugee Asgardians, the Hulk, and a Valkyrie. The kicker Thor was nowhere to be found.

Four years after Thor the Dark World Jane stumbles onto a secret about Loki's past that will unravel consequences. Not everything in Asgard is as it seems, especially in the Odinson family. Grief is a loyal friend, the dead never really leave you, there is no future without forgiveness and redemption is for anyone who will take it.

(Following on from The Healer) Loki is sick of his air vents freezing his room and lets his jotun form free too save off the cold. What he didn't bargain for was a screaming girl, a lightning blast to the chest or a couple hundred spears flying towards his vital organs.

(Post Thor Ragnarok) When the Asgardian refugees fall ill with a mysterious illness that seems to be incurable, it's up to Loki to save the day again.

Why did Loki return to Asgard to help Thor fight Hela? And why did we not get to see the brothers hug on the ship? This is how I think the scene could have gone. This started as a one-shot, but I think I might continue it.

After Thor and The Avengers return Loki to Asgard, they discover not all was as it seemed and Loki may not be as lost as everyone believed. However, things can never be quite so easy. Ever wondered what happened after Loki's defeat in Tony's flat? This story takes place after that and follows the brothers back to Asgard where Loki will be forced to face Odin's anger and punishment. Will Thor stand by him? There are some ideas from the Dark World but it does not follow it. I own nothing.

Stealing the Commodore, Sakaar. How long did Loki actually suffer from the pain inflicted upon him by the obedience disk? What were his thoughts? Why did he decide to betray Thor even though he displayed the willingness to cooperate with his brother earlier on? Was it a ruthless act of a trickster or was there more to it? Read to find out.

Post-Ragnarok. Loki wanted adoration. Now he's got it. Now what?

The Trials are a rite of passage to adulthood in the life of every Asgardian. Loki wasn't worried about his…not much, anyway. He'd worked hard. He was prepared. And no one in the history of Asgard has ever failed the Trials. Perhaps he should have been a little more worried… Sometimes a boy has to try to prove himself a man, with or without anyone else's support.

RAGNAROK SPOILERS WITHIN. Odin appeared to Thor in his weakest moment, giving him the strength he needed to continue. Half a battle later, Loki is the one who needs him. And this time, Odin is finally ready to be the father his youngest child always needed.

THOR RAGNAROK SPOILERS WITHIN. ALSO POTENTIAL AND DEFINITE INFINITY WAR AND AVENGERS 4 SPOILERS LATER ON. Loki has made his peace with Thor, but there's one thing he has to say to Valkyrie. So the duo has a conversation that ends up leading to the possibility of more.

THOR RAGNAROK SPOILERS AHEAD. Loki and Thor have finally reunited, and they love it. However, there's a lot of emotional baggage to work through. Together, they talk through it.

'Thor offered Loki a half-hearted grin. "I might give you a hug if you were actually here," he said, not sure if he meant it. Would he? He wanted to, for sure, yet he doubted Loki would've accepted the hug, anyway.' Ragnarok one-shot, no slash. Just brotherly affection.

Loki really hated camping. Like, a lot. Being attacked, nearly dying, and having to rely on the Avengers, of all people, for survival didn't really raise his opinion of it.

Post-Avengers. The Chitauri are back on earth. Thor and Natasha visit Loki, who is getting every day sicker in his cell. Something is not quite right. Loki angst!

"He is left back into the cold once more. And he is alone." The Avengers find Loki wandering Midgard unaware he has been wandering far longer than they expected. Concerns begin to arise as to the absence and silence of Thor in Asgard and the Trickster that holds nothing in his eyes but despair. No Slash, Rated T to be safe.

Mid-TDW. When the time came for Thor to ask for Loki's help to stop Malekith, he hesitated. In his anger and grief, he blamed Loki for Frigga's death and left him in torment. When Thor came back after his victory, Loki had finally lost himself to madness. What was left of the Loki that Thor had grown up with? What could he possibly do to mend the gaping rift between them?

So rather than torturing Loki, Odin gets some sense and admits that what Loki turned out to be was a product of bulling and neglect. After some research a spell is found that will turn back Loki's life until such a point as he could be saved. When they began to cast the spell, everyone was expecting something, but no one expected the result.

Three months after Operation Avengers all is well. Or is it? When Steve and Tony hack into SHIELD to find missing weapons shipments they find more than they bargained for in the form of a prisoner who should, by rights, have been sent to Asgard long ago.

The thoughts and revelations of Loki before letting go of Gungnir and falling into the abyss to be captured by the Chitauri, what Loki endured at the hands of Thanos, the one who put the sceptre in his hands, and coming back home to Asgard in chains.

One year after Ceil Zak'Vael's defeat, tensions are running in all new highs as an inevitable battle looms closer, and the Black Hunt closes in. But when Thor returns to Earth in despair, he sparks a whole new, dangerous game. The Chitauri and Thanos have returned to seek revenge upon Loki. Now it is up to Thor to find and rescue his wayward, injured brother but Thor cannot protect Loki alone; he must rely on his newly acquired allies if he is to keep his brother safe. Or how Loki's suicidal tendencies made him an Avenger of sorts. And a damn good one at that.

After Svartalfheim, Loki is still alive. In the end, it changes nothing. In which Thor hurts, Loki loves, and Jane learns how to lie.

Thor decides he's about done with letting Loki get himself hurt and pretending he's okay with it. Loki's got two feet of steel through his lungs and is finding it difficult to argue. Family therapy, at its finest.

To save Loki from a millennium of being imprisoned alone, Thor takes his brother to Earth to seek haven with the Avengers. Gaining the Avengers forgiveness will not be an easy feat for Loki, although he might find he has some things in common with each of them after all. Post Avengers, AU. Follow up to "Who's to Blame".

Spoilers for Thor: TDW. An AU short story where complications arise during the escape from Asgard. Thor throwing Loki from the Svartalf ship causes Loki to have a massive flashback to his fall from the Bifrost.

Loki's soul is tortured. He is found beaten and burned at night in the middle of the street in New York by Stark. His whole body in pain, burns scarred his body. Loki told himself that he was sure to die. A tortured mind, and tortured body and a tortured soul. Thanos was behind this, Loki failed him and Thanos wants his revenge. Loki takes hide out in the Stark Tower.

After Loki is punished for his crimes, he and Thor are sent back to Midgard to help the Avengers rebuild Manhattan. But when it becomes obvious that Loki is unwell physically as well as mentally, relationships are strained and healed as well as created. Rated T for the occasional language and frequent in-depth descriptions of illness and medical procedures.

Loki has never taken well to the heat, but when the strangely hot and dry summer in Asgard causes fires to spread around the kingdom, injuring dozens, the only healer in the palace that knows how to treat Loki's fever may be called away, leaving the brothers without the answers they need to save Loki's life. Sequel to A Past Encounter. After a problematic turn of events,Thor brings the Avengers to Asgard in hopes that they would help defend Loki on his trial. They didn't expect Asgardian Justice to be this severely cruel, putting Loki deeper than what he's in for. Each of them will testify in their own way about the Alien invasion, slowly revealing that Loki wasn't behind the attack.

When Thor is attacked in the training arena by a mysterious assassin claiming he has come to place judgement on a house of liars and thieves, Odin fears that that the secret of his second son's true parentage may have been discovered. As the sons of Odin set out to unravel the mystery they may find the reasons behind the attempt stranger still. Pre-Thor. Part of the series. Whump.

As punishment for crimes against Midgard, Loki is bound to bracelets that force him to become obedient: much to his disgust. Whoever holds the Stone of Command, holds the free will of the Asgardian. However, when the Avengers are involved things are never easy. Not to mention when an enemy makes use of such information. No Slash, Rated T to be safe.

Loki knew they would come for him, sooner or later, but what he didn't count on was a team of superheroes standing by his side when they finally did. Feedback is appreciated.

The Avengers need Loki's help to fight a villain. But Loki's jail time has damaged him. Deeply. Loki whump!

This story takes place after the Avengers movie and follows Loki's return to Asgard and Thor's attempts to save his brother, but Loki is never without a plan, and soon it will come to light that it is fool who would trust the God of Lies. Will eventually lead to the involvement of all the Thor and the Avengers characters. Rated T for safety and mild swearing.

Loki receives his punishment on Asgard only to find himself in the cruel hands of the Chitauri as his heart and mind battle between redemption and being lost to the dark side. When Thanos proceeds with his plot to sacrifice the universe to Death, Loki must choose what side he is on. Can the God of Mischief overcome his inner demons to find his own salvation? Loki/Natasha

It isn't until later that Tony realizes that the great happening of significance on this particular Thursday is not, in fact, the capture of one of their greatest enemies, but rather what happens next. In which Loki loses his memory, the team makes a choice, and Thor really just wants his brother back.

Thor hits Loki in a drunken rage and has to realize later how truly shattering his action was, and the negative effects it had on his little brother.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. And Loki has found himself in desperation, falling back on some unlikely saviors.

Sequel to Cultural Differences. Loki is on Earth serving out his punishment, and he has to contend not only with a foreign planet, but being a hostile. He learns the meaning of love from the children he visits at the orphanage, the meaning of family from Thor, and how to be human from Steve. Somewhere along the way, he also learns how to be himself.

Loki had every intention of wreaking havoc upon Midgard the moment his suicide attempt had failed, it was just too bad that Midgard ended up being so distracting. Who knew that such a primitive society would have such a novel concept as therapy?

Thor brings Loki and the Tesseract to Asgard and returns to Earth only after promising to return for Loki's trial when the time comes. In the meantime he tries to navigate Earth's foreign customs and not kill his teammates who insist on treating him like a small child rather than the god and prince that he is.

Set after the events of the Avengers. Loki is kidnapped from his cell in Asgard by a much more dangerous captor, seeking revenge on Loki for what he failed to do. Contains Loki whump, possibly some noncon later on and plenty 'o violence.

A new threat is turning the Avengers against each other, using deep-seeded pains to cause rifts that may ruin the fledgling team. On Asgard, an imprisoned Loki thinks he may have an idea what it is they are up against, and they will need the trickster's help if they are to come out of it alive. Co-written with Gabrielle Day. When Thor realizes Loki hasn't been acting himself but has been possessed by the Chitauri - what will he do? Can Loki be forgiven for what he has done - if in fact he did it at all or will he be subject to inprisonment and torture for his misdeeds? The Avengers are torn between punishment or a gentler form of rehabilitation and everything is falling apart for Loki - rapidly.
