I'm "...ty something"

I am one of the biggest Buffy fans in the world! I know it's silly to say this but I came of age with the show and I love almost all the main actors to a fault. As for their characters... as long as we walk really quickly past the Re-ensouled Spike Palaver in BTVS Season 7 and the EvilCordy plotline in ATS Season 4, we're five by five. So in conclusion? Jossverse has my heart every fricking time. I vascillate between loving BTVS more than ATS like all the time, but something about ATS has my frigging soul I tell ya.

I'm just a soul whose intentions are good, translation = misunderstood.

I've lurked on fan fiction websites for over 6 years - it all began with the X-files but I never had the motivation, time or courage to write until I read: Lessons by Butterfly Kate, In Hiding by Leah Kate and a story by Eponine 119, called In A Sydney Hotel Room the angst is totally heartbreaking.

I started off the fanfic writing kick way back in 2006 and it was prompted by my shiny new state of shipperness over the Sawyer and Kate characters on LOST.

I do not read or write RPF 'cause there's something about it that really creeps me out, but those who write and read it, each to their own, hey.

Same goes for Wincest in the SPN-verse.

As for anything else, Slash, Femmeslash, S&M... whatevs, if it's well done I'll check it out, no problemo.

Since I embarked on the fanfiction ship I have to admit I was surprised at the number of different authors and stories I have found and absolutely love.

Favorite music: Evanescence - all my SKATE angsty scenes were written to the Fallen CD - and I also love, love classic rock i.e. Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, The Doors, CCR, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix you get the picture...But I also love Aaliyah, Mariah Carey, Tupac,Nelly Furtado, Courtney Love, Hole, Christina Aguilera, Chicago, Cabaret & Phantom of the Opera soundtracks.

Favorite past-times: reading and joining in TWOP forums & recaps, finding fics that are worthy of my time, writing and tweaking my fics (if you go back you will usually find small alterations every once in a while), reading books (huge fan of Elizabeth Chadwick's historical novels on empowered women in medieval England), partying and travelling to name a few.

Movies: Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2 -- I think there are a lot of similarities between the Bride & (most female characters that I write about, hint, hint), The Bourne Series, Cruel Intentions, Goodfellas, The Godfather Trilogy, The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly, The Jerk, Tommy Boy, Two Can Play That Game, Double Take, French Kiss, A Time to Kill, Cabaret, Chicago, Casino, Fight Club, Gigi, Serenity, Pulp Fiction, Donny Brasco (and pretty much everything with Johnny Depp in it), Casablanca, Mrs. Miniver, Monty Python movies... the list could go on and on!

TV Shows: Buffy, AtS, 24, Top Gear (uh what's not to love?), No Angels (British tv show), The X-Files (I have a love/hate relationship with the show, the love is solid and strong for 7 years and then the hate creeps up through Season 8 before completely taking over in Season 9), Prison Break (I stopped at Season 3 when it went drastically left field for me), ER (s1 - 4), Battlestar Galactica (the re-make), The Wire, Deadwood, Friends, Seinfeld, SATC, Scrubs, Family Guy, the West Wing, HEROES (It's first season was so fantastic and then what happened!?), Friday Night Lights, Brothers and Sisters, Dollhouse, Chuck (the earlier seasons especially), The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, The Vampire Diaries (probably the only true possible successor to BTVS at the mo), GLEE, White Collar, Burn Notice, Supernatural, Dark Angel, The Riches, Army Wives, Gossip Girl (Blair Waldorf is a fucking nutter, and I love her to pieces for it), Weeds, OZ, Sons of Anarchy, The Tudors, ROME, Spartacus, yeah so I am like a professional tv watcher, innit. But weirdly enough I have yet to watch Firefly or Mad Men!

Random facts: I speak 5 languages fluently, I can curl my tongue three ways, despite all indications otherwise I am not crazy! I believe that plenty of shows today are modeled on the Jossverse. Oh and I hope to write a book when I am old & wrinkly.
