Author has written 13 stories for Star Fox, Lord of the Flies, and StarTrek: Enterprise. Current Quotes: "You have enemies? Good. It means you stuck up for something in life." -Winston Churchill ""Keep in mind, Harry, that no man considers himself evil." -Albus Dumbledore Database Three The Database Three Wikipedia Project, commonly abbreviated and referred to as 'D3,' is a wikipedia I launched on the 10th of July in 2007. The idea was to provide new and old authors with a database from which one can find suitable additions to your story, such as original characters, technology, locations, and other such things. It also serves as an information hub for the same authors, proving a venue from which you can showcase your work, read up on the work of others, chat, and request reviews and other such interactive features. And while it might be safe to say that Database Three is in a state of open beta, and while it is currently run on what's basically an invite-only policy, you're free to join up and try an article. The database is located here. Database Three Wikipedia Project News Feed: August 10th, 2008- Sad, isn't it? It's been almost a year since I last updated this page. But I'm finally bringing you a new installment of Black Skies. Have fun! Last Updates: -Black Skies (Ch.40) My Stories Black Skies: Black Skies is my flagship story for the Star Fox fanfiction. While it originally began as a side project, it gradually developed into a much longer story that now exceeded the original expected length by approximately 30,000 words. The story begins several years after the events of Star Fox: Assault. Star Fox has once again used their payoff for equipment, replacing the Great Fox, their Arwings, Landmasters, and other such vehicles. Falco grumbled that "they were turning out to be a rather unprofitable buisness." Despite this, the team actually was making a significant amount of income through various side jobs- Falco as an escort, Fox and Krystal as speakers, and Slippy as technician and inventor. But when war flares up with an imperialistic star system, Star Fox is called out of its semi-retirement to face down this new foe. The story also introduces an original character by the name of Abbey Rimstead, a young otter pilot who is taken on as a member of Star Fox. Later on in the story, the original character Century Shorehm, by Artistic Tuba, is included into the time after fighting with them in a battle over Rista 6. Defiance: A definite side project that is inset into Black Skies, Defiance tells the tale of the starship Verity, dispatched from Corneria on a three-month scouting mission to the Eloria System, which forms the universal eastern border of Grall. En route, they are ensared by a spatial anomaly that resembles a black hole. However, far from destroying them, the anomaly deposits the ship, mostly undamaged, further along their route. Defiance tells the story from the standpoint of Captain Richard Alanaldo and his bridge crew, Revi, Kelmar, Gary, and Lionel. Through Unheard Eyes: The somewhat-dubiously named third story for Star Fox, Through Unheard Eyes details the story of the brave men and women who fought the Aparoid War behind the front lines. These were the many valiant soldiers who were overshadowed and swept away by the grandeur of Star Fox, the men who kept the Aparoids at bay on the home front while Star Fox fought abroad. Once again told from the standpoint of Captain Alanaldo, the story will also begin to explore the viewpoints of numerous other soldiers in such far-flung places such as Titania and Macbeth. Through Unheard Eyes on Database Three Wings of Night: The first oneshot I wrote for the Star Fox community, Wings of Night details the final moments of Star Fox when their ship, the Great Fox, is caught within the destructive radius of a black hole from which there can be no escape. Wings of Night on Database Three Gambit: The second oneshot written for Star Fox, Gambit is a post-Black Skies story where Andross and Caiman are found alive and captured, then put on trial for war crimes. At the last moment, Fox McCloud and his surviving relatives oppose the death sentance to offer the comdemned two an all-or-nothing gamble for their lives. Falling Flames: Falling Flames is a story that explores the darker side of Dash Bowman. On a hot day in Corneria City, Fox McCloud leaves the Arspace office early for a simple flight over the Great Forest. However, when Dash Bowman sabatogues his Arwing, Fox McCloud realizes that the arm of Andross is unescapable- even after death. Falling Flames on Database Three Inversion: Inversion is my flagship story for Star Trek: Enterprise. Set during the events of E2, a desperate Jonathan Archer utilizes a dangerous subspace corridor in order to make an important rendevous. But he gets a shock when a mirror version of his ship appears and bids them to move away from the nebula housing the corridor to warn them of its dangers. Jonathan persists, and after a brief firefight, he gets Lorian, son of Trip and T'Pol, to help him. Lorian escorts a damaged NX-01 Enterprise into the corridor, restoring the timeline. His ship comes dangerously close to disentigrating, but it remains intact, albeit, untouchable by enemy fire. As this moment of invulnerability fades, the mirror Enterprise flees into the corridor to escape from the Kovalaans. They emerge in the Mirror Universe to some very unexpected consequences... The Truth of War: The Truth of War is an abortive fanfiction based off of Lord of the Flies, detailing in the first chapter the happenings of a second refugee flight carrying an all-girl passenger compliment. The plane is badly damaged and the girls evacuate, though the plane is later able to recover altitude and escape. Planned Works: Bound: An honorable crime lord is presented with information and a job that could destroy Lylat. And while he does not wish for the destruction of his homeworld, he feels he is too deepy bound to crime to escape now. In progress. The Mary Jane: A refugee ship flees from Corneria during the first Lylat War. James McCloud and Star Fox are too far away to offer assitance when the ship is damaged and boarding is imminent. The crew and passengers refuse slavery and turn the ship to ram. Red Skies: Sequel to Black Skies, Red Skies details events fourteen years after the Black Skies saga. Amidst general prosperity, a terrible event lurks upon the horizon, and when it bears down as if like a typhoon upon Lylat, it leaves nothing standing. In progress. Beneath the Waves: Set after Wind Waker, Dark Link reawakens in the depths of the Water Temple and emerges unto the surface world to wreak havoc and raise Ganon once more. Can Medli rise to the task and warn Link in time? About the Author: Real Name: Chris Lee 14 Favorite Games: Star Fox (series), Legend of Zelda (series), Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Fire Emblem: Path of Radience, Fire Emblem 7 Great Authors: Kit-Karamak: Author of the famous Reflections series, Kit-Karamak is a master with words and emotion, and he lavishes both equally on his stories. What makes them such interesting reads is not only their captivating storylines and beautiful detail, but their subtle links to one another. An action that seems insignificant in one story has life-saving changes twenty years later. Simple things, like losing a grenade, or greater things, like flooding a base. All is one and one is all, and Kit here brings new life to that phrase. Fatality: He's ben writing the Footsteps series, which is one of the only stories involving humans that I actively read. As much as I am usually opposed to the mix, Fatality does a wonderful job with mixing the two cultures together, and his works are easily worth your time, rain or no rain outside your window. SF Ghost: While have not had much time to read this author's works, rest assured that they are high in caliber and exciting to read. Another author who does a wonderful job combining humans, Earth, furrs, and Lylat. Ice Fox 111: One of the few authors who isn't afraid to show the gory side of life...in any way. Ice is a talented author and is gifted with emotions, and while his works can be disturbing to read at night, they are written with the utmost of precision. He helps work with the D3 Project. foxbird22: A brilliant author who's work is undeniably some of the best portrayals of space and its wonders you can find on the site, foxbird is amazing with a keyboard, and he's the only one who can probably knock you out with one as well. In a metaphoric way, of course. He also contributes actively to the D3 Project. Fira Astrali: I simply love her work. While Fatality and SF Ghost do a good job with the human blends, I simply have to favor her excellent story, The Wolf of Sector Y, above the other two in that respect. She is a wonderful author who spins remarkable characters, and her works should be read by anyone who wants to write fanfiction. Kathy Rose: Can anything good come of naming two cats "Torpedo" and "Warp Core?" Probably not, but her stories will have you falling from your chair with laughter as she chronicles the events on the starship Enterprise. Stargazing Basketcase: Simply put, "Things Not to do on the NX-01" is the best comedic relief you'll find anywhere in the Alpha Quadrant.
