What My Deal Is:

If you're reading this, then I can only assume that you were directed here by chapter 21 of my story Just This Once. If that's the case, you're also probably wondering what the heck took me so long to update and, unlike what I used to do, I decided that that probably didn't belong in my author's note. So here goes:

I may have lost interest in the fandom for a while.

I know.

That sucks. But it's true. I haven't really gotten back into the fandom either. However, I've enlisted in the Navy and am leaving in February. Ideally, I'd like to get this story finished before I ship out, since I doubt that I'll be able to update it once I'm gone and I feel bad leaving all you awesome people with no explanation. I feel bad enough that I left this to rot for almost two and a half years. *AhemIsuckAhem*

That said, I'm going to do my best to get this done. Despite lacking the passion I had for this fandom when I started this story way the hell back in October of 2009, I'm determined not to let the quality suffer. I'm hoping that having more life experiences will actually make for a better story.

Did I mention that I went back and reread the whole thing to get back into the universe that I created and was mortified by some of the things that I wrote? Because I was... Ah well.

To all of you that sent me PMs and begged for more in the reviews, I read what you had to say. But I was too embarrassed to respond. I just don't want you to feel neglected. :(

I don't promise weekly updates. Since my last update, I've become a fairly busy individual. Being an adult and all. I got stuff to do. But I will aim for at least an update a month. Maybe two. Feel free to spam me if it looks like I've lost interest again. I won't be offended. :)
