Author has written 22 stories for Death Note, and D.Gray-Man. THE LATEST DGM CHAPTER WAS PERFECT!!! It was sad and a bt confusing at the beginning but then... then it could be considered Yullen! Even though there's still Alma... there was something perfect about it! I'm trying to avoid spoilers but... I'm just so happy I could cry! I'm broke my writer's block because of this so you can see the story called "Finally in Control." It's rough, sketchy, and written late at night while overwhelmed by happy tears from the chapter, so don't expect much. Hopefully this'll set a trend to more editting and writing. DISCLAIMER: This is Fanfiction.Net so I obviously don't own any of the animes, music, manga, etc. I use. They belong to their respective owners. The actually stories however are mine as well as the poetry I use. I might be changing my user-name to my new pen-name so watch out for that. I might not because I don't want to confuse people, and I have doubts that it isn't already taken, but keep an eye out just in case (if you ever plan on looking at/for stuff by me again). All right... I'm just erasing most of the usless crap and getting down to the point. I've been lazy. That's it. I could give the excuse that I haven't been working on FanFiction because of two other projects I have as well as summer homework but that would be a load of bullcrap. I haven't done any homework and I've been lazy, instead of neglecting two projects in favor of one, I've been letting pressure and laziness get to me annd haven't been working on any. So I'm sorry. I have written a few things and I formatted a couple things but nothing like I should have. I've had almost all of the summer and I've had three major vacations, THREE, about to have another, and I'm with my dad/grandparents so I can't blame it on my screwed up relationship with my mother. I'll try to do better but please don't expect anything. As I said earlier, I've broken my writers block, so hopefully this'll usher in more editting and writing in my non-homeowkr time. ABOUT ME: Age: Younger than most people assume me to be STORY INFO (not totally up-to-date): Alive: A really old story... I really like the concept, but I'm not sure how well it turned out. I wanted to put the tune from the ark in too, but it disrupted the flow of the dream so I eliminated it. But, the song is good to set the mood if you start listening right at the dream and it doesn't go over, 'cause then it kinda ruins the mood. I really like the whole Allen needs Kanda theme, and I made it a bit more physical in here (and not as in mature physical need- i.e. lust... though I do love that stuff... heh heh...). Alone: I'm actually kinda happy with this one, I did it a while ago when I still had my Death Note obsession and I haven't gotten around to seriously editing it yet... It hasn't been read recently so unless it gets back onto the charts, it'll probably stay the way it is. Border (Survive): The actual title was supposed to have parentheses (sp?) since it was one of my indecisive double-titles, but they don't show up when you post a story so I'm using colons. This is one of my weirder ones with some strange analogies (I apologize if it was confusing) but it seems that people like it. I was trying to get across that need that Allen and Kanda have for each other just to stay sane and keep from falling apart and I think I got it (partially judging from the awesome comment's I've gotten). It's also a bit of how they don't really fit in with everyone else and they're both dangerously close to breaking. I've moved my poem from "Only Them (Forget)" to this one since it fits a little better. Breaking Promise: This one is a bit tragic so I might be making a sort of fluffy reincarnation story to follow this (and my other Yullen death-fics) up. I got my tragedy fix writing this and even though Kanda's a bit OOC, I'm satisfied with how it went. Embrace the Flame: Um... this was inspired by "Work" by Jars of Clay, but I changed the idea a bit and applied it to LaviLena... it's old and I just revamped it but I'm still not quite happy... Falling Rain and Swirling Snow: This was a bit Kanda-centric... I really hate the summary so that might be changing soon. It was a bit rambling for the idea, and I agree with moontoga29's comment that I probably could've gotten it across in fewer words, especially considering that I work best with short drablesque stuff, but I'm really reluctant to cut stuff out. Hate: This DGM thing was a bit list-like for me, I was bored one night and was not tired but I was too lazy to do anything absorbing so I just started listing out stuff that the various DGM main characters would hate. I was considering doing more minor characters first then building up to the four I have now (Lavi, Lenalee, Kanda, Allen) but I was too lazy and I haven't gotten around to that part so I'm leaving it as is. Unexpectedly, a lot of people found it funny and now that I look at it some parts are; I must've been really out of it that night and when I typed it up. I thought they were a bit humorous but I wasn't paying much attention. Most people acknowledged the darkness and the angstyness though, so it's all good. i might be adding that second section on how they each cope with their hate, but I'm not sure... if I do, there WILL be generous doses of Yullen! Hidden Heart (Screaming and Crying): I wrote this when I was in bed and a bit tired (as usual... heh), and I just kept adding to it a few nights in a row. This was very experimental and I'm not quite happy with it but I have been editing and I think it's working towards clarity. Kanda was a bit OOC but I think I covered that since I mentioned that Allen wasn't expecting it. I probably will be working with this again because I'm just not happy enough with it but I'm not willing to let go of the idea. Human: Initially meant to be a Lavilena (well, you can see how thatturned out) it's more of a family Lavi-centric thing looking at his humanity and detachment. But I am fairly happy with it... though its a bit weird and vague... Loss in Victory: I know, I know, the contradictory title idea is way too cliche but it's better than anything else I came up with. It's a bit of a sequel to all my Exorcist death-fics since most of those do deal with some degree of victory against tthe Earl, Noah, and/or akuma. I was wondering how the Order would act if most (or all) the Exorcists died. I'm not happy with the endings (as said in my author's note) but most people seem to like it so... no editting for now. In Progress! More Than Anything: A collection of one-shots that can be read alone or collectively. There really isn't any Alma bashing, but I wrote it 'cause I needed to get my mental Alma bashing down. The content is based on the idea that, yes, maybe Alma wasimportant to Kanda's life, but that was the past and Allen is right in front of Kanda. The past is something that should be remembered but not dwelled upon. The genres are going to be all over the place, and I have no idea when I'm going to stop adding. It is marked complete because each 'chapter' can be read on its own, but I'll probably keep on going. I'm going to need to edit this to compensate for that girl from Kanda's past (ergh... this isn't helping with my opinion of her). Only Them (Forget): I might be moving the poem here to "Border (Survive)". Other than that, I really don't know what to say about this one, it's kinda using the idea that Kanda and Allen both really understand how the other has gone through some tough times and when they're arguing, they seem to be able to make each other forget how lost they are, and when they talk about the 14th or Alma or other matters of their inner darkness, they understand in a way. It's also partially how they can be themselves around each other and let out emotions that nobody else would understand... But that's all kinda said in the story itself... Scream: I am loving this one more every day. It's dark and depressing but they're enough gentle understanding and romance. That's not to say that I won't edit it. It's based of "Scream" by A7x (Avenged Sevenfold, one of my favorite bands) and I initially had every lyric in it but I ended up taking out all the one's that weren't dialogue. The rating might change... it's kinda borderline. Sea of Fate and Destiny: I'm frankly dissapointed at the response to this one. I personally loved it and so did most of my friends (though a lot of them only saw the first, non-depressing part). I managed to get in the cheesy romance as well as the gore and tragedy, but in different parts so people can read which ever. It's LaviLena (Lavi+Lenalee) which is one of my favorite pairings and I worked real hard on it... Nobody liked it :( Revamped! The Lotus and the Rose (Just Breathe): I am very happy with this one. It's rather cheesy but people seemed to like it. It was my first Yullen and even though it's not the best concept, it is one of my personal favorites. It's just been revamped a bit so check it out!. Not Love: This is somewhat adressing Allen. It's a bit vague and it's a bit choppy and needs editting but I liked the concept too much to scrap it. Based off the idea how neither Kanda nor Allen would believe they were in love, it's a bit deep and then gets sarcastic. I'll be coming back to it for editting. The style is a bit experimental... so I'm not sure if it worked. In Progress! Requiem of Memories: Inspired by my friends talking about The Book Thiefwhich I WILL eventually read, this is narrated by Death. There's gonna be a couple chapters on each of his third-fifth lives, and it's a bit of a sequel to all my other stories. I'm excluding the first and second lives because they're talked about in DGM, and in a couple of my fics. I kept the Prelude vague because we really don't know that much about the Fourteenth's life and Allen's life is still continuing in DGM as well as the fact that the deaths of all the Exorcists vary from story to story and this is a bit of an all purpose happy ending (eventually). Death will explain her (well, there isn't really a specified gender but from the personality I gave her, she seems more feminine) thoughts and feelings a little at the beginning and ends of the other chapters but not as extensive as in the Prelude. I will be changing the summary soon, just FYI. As I said way at the top of my profile, inspiration hasn't struck yet, so I'll be waiting because Allen and Kanda deserve that happy ending and I'm not going to just crank out crap. Note: All right, I'm ashamed to say this, but Code Lyoko has died for me, I still love the series and reading other fanfics, but I just don't get inspired by it anymore. I really didn't like how my stories (Animal Instinct and Bloodlust) were going, and I don't know how to put the few ideas I have into writing... so I deleted them. COMING (not so) SOON! Perhaps: Perhaps, the horrible circumstances aren't all as bad as they seem. Perhaps they are the reason you two are in love. Answering Machine: "You've reached the residence of Allen Walker, leave a message after the beep." One Last Time: One more time, won't you smile for me, cry for me, fight for me, live for me? Even if it's far too late, I'd do anything. and more! :P As for my favorite stories list... don't look for it for recommendations because I kinda screwed up... but I am in the process of cleaning it up (finally).
