Let's start this this Profile over from scratch. (Seriously, I had WAY too much stuff before...)

About Me

Around the intrawebs, I go by the name x-DragonSoul-x, but I also go by Dragoness or Nessy. I'm a girl who's just developing her talents and trying to decide just what it is she wants to DO with her life before getting kicked out into the real world. I'm a highschool, but that's all the specifics you're going to get out of me, (I don't update this profile nearly enough to keep up anyway.)

Anyway, I've loved writing since I was a kid, since I could read even. I'm really hoping to get a career having to do with it, or at least get my own fiction novel published somewhere along the line. That's a long ways off, but I'm studying and working hard for it.

That's another thing, I've finally taken the big step, (well then again, I really only have one foot out the door so far,) and have moved on from fanfiction and have started writing my own original material. I know what you're thinking, "you can write fanfiction and original stuff at the same time!" Yeah, I know, its just a little difficult for me right now, so my original stuff's gonna get all the attention for right now. Sorry. Fanfiction has been pushed on the backburner.

I'm working on it.

This year I have goal. I tallied up the word counts of the story docs on my computer, calculating the yearly total. In 2010, I wrote nearly 59,000 words. I fell far short of that in 2011. But my goal for 2012 is this, write OVER (50)NINE THOUSAND words in (fanfiction and original) stories. (Sorry, the DBZ meme was too tempting. n_n')

I'm doing pretty well so far. All my writing endeavors are adding up, and I've already got nearly 50% of the goal complete. And its only mid-March. I'm thinking I'm going to have to expand my goal.

(Oh, and in case your wondering why I'm bragging like this, and yet it shows that I haven't updated on fanfiction since sometime last fall, its because I've been working on mostly original work, though there are a few fanfictions in there, but I'm saving them, for a surprise at the start of summer...)

Ever since I was little, I loved playing video games, the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, was my first game, and I loved it. I couldn't actually make much progress back then, but I just liked playing around. Now that I'm a big girl, I have a better time getting through games. I mostly play RPGs and such, but really I just like something with a good story. Some of my faves include...

*The Legend of Zelda Series:
Such fond childhood memories. I've played most of them, but my standout favorites are Twilight Princess and Majora's Mask, just for their darker and more realistic (for the former) feel.

*Tales of Symphonia:
A really epic game, with lots of endearing character and a complex plot. And a fun sequel. YES I LIKED THE SEQUEL!

*The Kingdom Hearts Series
Only played 356/2 Days, ReCoded and Birth By Sleep. There's something endearing about this series, between all the sappy, cliche mush gush.

*Trauma Team:
It's got a great, gripping storyline which has a wonderful balance of humor and drama, and a wonderful cast of characters.

Super Paper Mario
