I tend to write fics in full, then leave them for a while before editing and posting, which means that new fics are few and far between, but once I'm posting a fic, I will to try to post at least weekly. 'When Everything Has Changed' is the exception to this.

A number of the Sanctuary fics have turned in to a series, without my really meaning them to. I suggest that you read them in order, they deviate from canon progressively. You will be confused if you start at Turn Again. The list currently stands as: Monster, Freedom, Sleeping Bear, Turn again, In Pursuit of a Predator.

All other fics stand alone. My personal favourite Traitor to Rome. It's a pity that nobody reads Shakespeare fanfics. I'm really proud of Traitor to Rome.

As you may have noticed, I have deleted my two earliest fanfics: Host and Within, both Stargate SG1. If you ask why, I wrote them seven years ago. They're very, very poor quality fiction and I don't want to clutter up the site with them.

As a 'specialist' beta reader: I am most of the way through my Veterinary training, so I know more about anatomy, physiology and medicine than most (if you don't believe me, read chapter 9 of 'Where there is Darkness' or any chapter from Simon's POV in 'Strange Bedfellows'). I am happy to check ideas and/or passages which are medicine heavy for more or less any cannon. I have also given much thought to the specific medical needs of Marvel Super-Soldiers and am able to provide advice on pain relief, anaesthesia and antibiotics on request. Anything else may take up to a week.

I am, as a rule, a tentative shipper. I require strong evidence of mutual romantic interest (i.e. it must prove itself to be eros love, rather than filios) before I will accept it as a ship. I assume a relationship to be filios based until I have evidence otherwise.

My favorite author is Astraperaspera. He/she focuses on emotional depth, particularly around Sam and Jack. A lot of his/hers are S/J established and beautifully written. They read like poetry, as in rich, crafted language. He/She also fills in blanks that the show frankly needed to, such as bits of Threads and something after S4 Atlantis (not what you think, trust me).
