![]() Author has written 15 stories for Up, Monsters vs. Aliens, Edward Scissorhands, Despicable Me, One Piece, and Inside Out. Hello! Welcome to my FanFic profile. You can call me Sprite. I underrate the overrated and overrate the underrated. You have all the privileges of the world to read my stories and please review. And whatever you do, do NOT pass my work off as yours, or a legion of angry fellow sprites will beat you to death, grind your body into pulp, and feed it to the dying plants of the world as a fertilizer. Still, don't. Name: TheSpriteofJayum. On DeviantArt, I'm DrJEMnutcase (link: http:///). I will never give you my real name no matter how hard you may plea or blackmail me cuz I don't trust just anyone on the web. You may offer me all the moolah on Earth, but I will never tell you. I'm a conservative person and thus a lot of my stories are clean. I do not include moderate-strong language or pornography/explicit sexual innuendo. I do, however, include mild language, drinking, smoking, mildly suggestive elements, violence, and some gore. I'm a strange person from the underrated, liberal rinky-dink but beautiful Pacific Northwest in the US and live in a suburbian town somewhere, ya know, and enjoying the rain I have for about 30% of the year and very little snow for only a few days (if I'm lucky, a week or so). I think you have to be 13 to be on this site, and I'm well over 13. My birthday is December 18. Hobbies: computers, reading (duh), writing (duh), drawing (fanart mostly, you can see some of my artwork on DeviantArt. I also like drawing concept art for my stories), Russian, creating OC's and drawing them, genetics, chemistry, history, and creating doodle comics to make friends laugh. Life in General: Quiet overlooked person. Epilepsy survivor. Bakery clerk. Someday ESL teacher. Avid reader and writer and have been both since age 8. Supporter of epilepsy awareness. Favorite movies: Monsters vs. Aliens, Beauty and the Beast (1991), Labyrinth, Les Miserables, Edward Scissorhands, The Theory of Everything, Star Wars saga, Fantasia Favorite TV shows: some Big Bang Theory...don't really watch TV, so I only know so much. Favorite authors: Anton Chekhov, a lot my FanFic reviewers and buds (thank you all very much. It's okay, you don't have to review my stories to be one of my faves.). Really don't have a clue. Favorite Artists:...I don't know. Favorite songs (and OSTs too): Casper's Lullaby-James Horner, Grand Finale (Edward Scissorhands)-Danny Elfman, Total Praise-Richard Smallwood, Grey Havens (LOTR: Return of the King)-Howard Shore, Audition (The Fools Who Dream)-Emma Stone/La La Land, Pure Imagination-Willy Wonka, Arrival of the Birds-Cinematic Orchestra Religious views: Christian, but against the molesters, jerks and such that claim to be ones. It's okay. You don't have to be Christian to be my friend. I will never shove my beliefs down someone's throat, EVER! 'Cuz you get nowhere doing that. And just because I'm a Christian doesn't mean I'm a people hater, homophobe, etc. I'm mostly pacifist because war's overrated and a big culprit of the national debt (in my opinion). A note: a note or two They call me...a faker for attention…weak…a freak…dangerous…C.P (Cerebral palsy)...broken…a mistake…a scaredy cat…a problem child…a burden…a druggie…weird…contagious…possessed by demon…an embarrassment… Epilepsy affects over 50 million people worldwide or approximately 1 in 100 people. That's more than multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and Parkinson's disease combined. Nearly 3 million Americans have epilepsy, yet epilepsy and seizures remains largely misunderstood by the public. This lack of understanding can have a serious impact on the access to communities, treatment, employment or education for people with epilepsy. Sadly, there's less research done on epilepsy than on MS. MS is a gradual process whereas with epilepsy one can go into a seizure, have something bad happen (like choking on spit/hitting their head wrong-ie: Jett Travolta), and die in the matter of minutes. It can range from a simple 10-second stare without free-will to unconscious convulsions. It can range from one seizure every couple of years to several a day. It can range from no damage whatsoever to death (but death's a rarity). Everybody knows about Breast Cancer Awareness (ribbons, aluminum yogurt lids, Tic Tacs, etc). Autism awareness is popping up nowadays. At grocery, department, hardware stores and drive-thrus, I see "Support (name issue) Awareness" or "Create a world free of (name issue)." So far I know/knew three people with breast cancer, at least two people with autism, two people with MS, zero people with cystic fibrosis, and I'm the only one that I know of that has epilepsy. My only rights activist craze. Seriously though, I'm still the same person I was before I had it; my brain just has a mind of it's own. Either you can make a pity party of your condition or make lemonade out of those lemons. I even have a shirt that says "Epilepsy: seize the day!" Still...SUPPORT EPILEPSY AWARENESS! MARCH 26th & NOVEMBER Stories Monsters vs. Aliens -The Invisible Love- Summary: A new monster arrives at Area Fifty-Two. She reminds the monsters of a past monster while she turns B.O.B.'s world upside down. Pairings: B.O.B./OC Story type: Part of Invisoline Saga. Number 1. Humor/Romance Rated: K Complete -The Incredible Chase- Summary: Sequel to the Invisible Love. 4 years have passed, and Jennifer is going on sweet sixteen, muddling through high school, and fighting more alien scum with Monger's monsters. Along the way, she and the gang meet some surviving humanoid monsters being chased by a galactic menace. Pairings: B.O.B./OC, Link/OC/Monger Story type: Part of Invisoline Saga. Number 2. Humor/Adventure Complete Do NOT read unless you've read the Invisible Love. Yes, I know it's crummy, but what can you expect for your first fanfic? Rated: K-some action violence -The Invincible Adversary- Summary: Four years have passed, & great expectations are awaiting Jenny & the monsters. In that time, an alien invasion arrives with the force to wreak revenge & destroy the team. No. 3 & last story of the Invisoline Trilogy. Pairings: B.O.B./OC, Monger/OC Story type: Part of Invisoline Saga. Number 3. Romance/Adventure In Progress. Honestly, I'm not sure if I'll finish this. Do NOT read unless you've read the others. -Milleniums Apart- Summary: With more freedom in his new life, Link finds his former swamp as well as his old life gone forever. Meanwhile, he learns to let go of his past and reach into the future for something better. Pairings: Link/OC, Link/Susan Story type: Stand-alone. Romance/Angst (?) Not started yet. Don't know if I want to do this one or not. -A Lifetime- Summary: A genius and an immigrant cross paths at college and get taken on a wild friendship together. Little will they know of what will happen during their lifetime. Pairings: Dr. C/OC, maybe some Link/OC Story type: Stand-alone. Romance/Tragedy In progress. I really want this story to be successful. One of my few works so far that's made me cry. -Eating Aliens for Breakfast- Summary: One morning at Area *Bleep!, the monster Phyllis/Electrill and the alien Sta'abi have a monsters versus aliens battle on their own. Story type: One-shot. Action/Humor Complete. Author's Note on Monsters vs. Aliens: #1: On pairings...I don't believe that Dr. C. and Susan are a couple. Or that Dr. C. is in love with Susan. If there's a couple in a movie, I'd like a definite sign of it (Example: Melman/Gloria, Hiccup/Astrid, and Megamind/Roxanne). Of course, Doc and his Swirly-Pop made a fine pair in Mutant Pumpkins. Evidence?...sorry, folks, I've seen it all, I'm not convinced, and I'm gonna need more . :P Btw, I really don't see much of anything else in Mutant Pumpkins or the TV series. #2: I know Derek is a jerk but I don't believe he is some ruthless menace who wants to ruin Susan and the monsters' lives in revenge for screwing up his TV reporter career; he's just a poor selfish guy with some great insecurities. He got what he deserved at the end, so let's beat it. #3: For: About the TV series on Nickelodeon, in my opinion, it's not too terrible. Like any other TV series based on a movie, it has its hits and misses; some episodes are meh while others actully aren't too bad. The new voice cast has its good and bad moments. New characters? Not too cheesy. And one thing...I'd rather watch the series than read some badly written MvA fanfic about Dr C/Susan or a Mary-Sue OC/On-Of-The-Monsters. Up -Memories and Farewell- Summary: This is the part in the beginning at the end of Carl & Ellie F.'s life together. Carl reminisces and visits Ellie in her last hours. Pairings: Carl/Ellie Number of chaps: One-shot Story Type: Stand-alone. Romance/Tragedy -Complete- Edward Scissorhands -Second Ice Angel- Summary: The story how Edward came to create the ice sculpture of Kim we see at the end of the movie. Pairings: Edward/Kim Number of chaps: One-shot Story Type: Stand-alone. Romance Author's note on Edward Scissorhands: As much as lots of us would like to have him, NO ONE can have Edward but Kim. Even after all the years of not seeing each other, their hearts will always belong to each other. And that's why I don't agree with the Edward/OC stories. It's like doing a Titanic fanfic and doing Jack/OC or Rose/OC. -Complete- Despicable Me -It's For You- Summary: For 12 years, a little minion has hidden his feelings for one of the girls. Can he reveal his love to her before it's too late? Pairings: Phil the Minion/Agnes Number of chaps: One-shot Romance/Humor Story Type: Stand-alone -Complete- |
