Poll: Which story cover should I use for Devil in Plain Sight? Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 33 stories for Mario, Alvin and the chipmunks, Hetalia - Axis Powers, Phineas and Ferb, Jimmy Neutron, and Swan Princess. Yup, that's my kitty's baby photo. However, the name "CosmicKitten" is based on some characters I made up when I was fifteen called the Cosmic Kittens. They were colorful superpowered kittens that live in a space station in an exotic solar system I made up with four planets full of alien species I made up. I wrote a few books on them, and made up far more stories about them in my head, but looking back, the whole idea was rather... cheesy, even cliched, and far better suited for a cartoon/comic book/video game series than the fiction I had been writing. I abandoned them altogether after about three years, when I came up with another original story idea that also burned out... and then I gained access to and discovered the wonderful world of fanfiction. Frequently Asked Questions: Are you a boy or a girl? Well, I don't know too many boys who would put a fluffy baby animal in their pen name or as a profile pic, so "girl" is a pretty safe assumption, if you don't take into account the possibility that my gender is non-binary... When is your birthday? Let me make a riddle out of this: I was born in 1989, on a moonless night, in the early hours of a 25-hour day. Well, what are you waiting for? GO GOOGLING! How old are you? Refer to the previous question. You do the math. What is your real name? Do some serious Google-sleuthing and I'm certain you will figure it out sooner or later. It's impossible to erase every last bit of everything you have posted about your personal identity off the internets, after all ;) What is your favorite author/book series? I'm not really into any fiction (other than my most cherished fanfiction authors) right now. Too busy reading nonfiction and stuff. Fiction books I enjoyed reading in the past include Harry Potter, Twilight, the Warriors series (you know, the books about cats), the Chronicles of Narnia, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Animorphs, and probably others I can't think of right now. Hunger Games might have made this list too, but I believe it came out (or became popular anyway) after I stopped reading fiction, so I never got around to reading it. As for "classic literature"... well, I liked Jane Eyre. What are your religious beliefs? I don't really identify with any religion; I suppose that makes me what you would call "agnostic". I am unusually open-minded and tolerant of other people's beliefs, so long as they are not being hypocritical, hateful, or shoving it down my throat. Are you interested in men, women, or both? None of the above. What kind of music do you like? I, uh... I usually do not feel comfortable discussing my musical interests. Truth be told, I'm rather ignorant about music for the time being, although I am currently taking piano lessons. What interests do you have other than writing and fanfiction? Science, especially physics, especially theoretical physics, and mathematics. I do math competitions these days so I'm studying that kind of stuff pretty much all the time. I have to teach myself because, well, I can't focus well in a classroom. Oh and I do artwork too. I'm considered quite skilled at hand drawing and computer art. I also want to teach myself some other new things such as computer programming, music theory/composition and a few foreign languages but those are hard to focus on right now because I'm rather taken up by the math competitions at the moment. Oh, and I have some original book ideas I would like to work on and publish some day as well. All right, that's enough questions. Now about my fanfiction. The fandoms I write for/have written for are: Mario: In particular, the Koopalings. The only fandom I am very actively writing for at the moment. I haven't played the video games in a long time, but I'm still deeply obsessed with these characters, and I have been on and off since I was introduced to the world of video games when I was eight years old. It has been stated before, but the fun thing about writing the Koopalings is that their personalities are not extremely well-developed, which gives the writer a lot of artistic liberty with designing their own headcanon and everything. My headcanon, as you can tell from my stories, is somewhat strange and irregular, but I try to keep it quite consistent throughout my stories. My favorite character is Ludwig von Koopa, probably because I can relate to him very well in certain ways, and people tell me I do an excellent job at writing his point of view. New stories can probably be expected in the future, and current ongoing stories will be updated... irregularly, but during these days I am in a good fanfiction-writing mood so despite being very busy with other things updates can be expected to happen once every month or two on average. Hetalia Axis Powers: The only new fandom I have gained interest in since I got access to the internets and the freedom to publish fanfiction 4 years ago. It seems that I am currently on hiatus from this fandom. Not sure why, maybe because of certain fellow fans I didn't click so well with (although I know several who I get along with as well), but I expect to go through another phase of being interested in it one of these days, perhaps next year or so. When that happens, expect updates for some of the stories I haven't updated in a year or two, and perhaps even new ones. My favorite character is Roderich/Austria, and I ship him with... his Piano. (By the way I have a math competition problem book that has the Nordic country characters from Hetalia on the cover not sure if that's legal but isn't that neat?) Alvin and the Chipmunks: This fandom was also on a hiatus, but after my YouTube account was deleted for the fandubbed videos of the cartoon that I made (dubbing children's cartoons to change the storyline and make it more adult is actually a LOT of fun!), well, that made it clear that Ross Bagdasarian Jr. has no love for his fans and therefore deserves none for his characters, so then I officially decided that I am going to quit this fandom - the new movies suck anyway, they get worse with each installment. I will leave the stories I have already written up, since deleting them would not be fair to the people that still enjoy them, but don't expect the unfinished ones to get updated, and don't expect Alvin or Simon to answer your questions. My favorite characters by the way were Simon and Jeanette. And that's it. I don't expect to develop an obsession enough with anything new to actually want to write fanfics about it anytime soon. Other fandoms I had interest or obsession in when I was younger but never got to or never felt like writing fanfiction about: Pokemon (up to Gen. 4), Kirby, Sailor Moon, Tokyo Mew Mew, Ojamajo DoReMi, Atomic Betty, Xiaolin Showdown, My Life as a Teenage Robot, Rugrats, just about every Disney animated movie up until the 2000s (the 90s were really the golden age for Disney movies), Lilo & Stitch, Sesame Street (not the show... just the characters Bert & Ernie, my sister and I made up mature-rated stories about them as a gay couple with a child named Bernie back before I was able to publish fanfiction online), The Land Before Time, The Swan Princess, Barney (stopped liking him when I was four or five) Spyro the Dragon (the first 3 for PlayStation slayed everything that came after, especially those ugly Skylanders), My Little Pony (BEFORE Friendship is Magic came out, although I would probably be a fan of FiM if I hadn't burnt out on ponies before it came out; then again, I've heard baaaad things about the people in the fandom in general), Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake (those last three were part of my 80s baby cartoons phase in my early teens), various other cartoons/animated movies, and the books I mentioned earlier. Some of these were actually more my sister's interest than mine. |
