I have unfortunate news for you all.

Due to certain events, I will be unavailable from mid-July to early January of next year. I will have no access to wireless internet or Fanfiction in general. Nor will I be able to write or edit any of my current stories on this site, or be capable of beta-ing during that time. My apologies to you all.

Amaranthine

Overall, the fic tells the too-familiar tale of how Fullmetal came to Hogwarts. Things take a turn for the strange rather early on, and is intended to take an overdone setting -Ed at Hogwarts- and retell it in a way that hasn't been done before. As such, it will be an eventual AU, as enough different events will build up to an inherent change in the storyline. The fic will be split into either seven or eight arcs, and tells the story of how Ed came to Britain and changed the Wizarding World, for better or for worse.

Arc One, Hope: 'Alchemy has gone forgotten with magic on the rise, but when one certain blond gets kidnapped, old secrets come to light.' Being the first arc, 'Hope' is the introductory arc and, at first, has the fewest plot changes other than the obvious. Covering the first book of the Harry Potter series, The Sorcerer's Stone, 'Hope' demonstrates how many small differences will add up into a large, glaring difference later on.

Arc Two, Envy: 'Enemies as old as Hogwarts itself are beginning to return, and Dumbledore is either oblivious or unwilling to act. With tensions rising and suspicions being directed on the Alchemy professor, will he be able to prove his innocence? Or will he be driven away out of fear? (Not that he would mind.)' Keeping in with the HP series, 'Envy' mirrors the second book, The Chamber of Secrets, and shows that no matter how hard you try, you cannot escape your past; it will always find you.

Arc Three: 'Traitors lie within Hogwarts, waiting for the perfect time to strike. A betrayal twelve years ago has no importance to Edward Elric, now that he has bigger things to worry about, but when the people he has begun to care for are involved the matter becomes personal.' Representing The Prisoner of Azkaban, Arc Three proves that what you don't know can hurt you.
Unpublished, being rewritten.

Semper Fidelis

'The apocalypse through anonymous eyes... When Pokémon moves from a game to reality, the creatures loved by fans begin to attack civilization, forcing the government to take steps to defeat the creatures. When weapons fail to do harm, they begin to experiment with the classics: partnering their soldiers with newly hatched Pokémon. An AU take on the Call of Duty world and the classic Pokémon journey.' Covered in three arcs, Semper Fidelis is the story written for the cover picture, which depicts a soldier and their Charmeleon, watching a Ho-Oh destroy a city while being hit with some sort of RPG. Anonymity is preserved by withholding the viewer's identity beyond their title of Lieutenant.

Well, since it would finally seem that the poll has accumulated forty votes, I decided to release the results and some information on each choice to all of you.

1. Incarceration, twenty-two votes. Focuses on a series of events prior to Voldemort's downfall. Not a happy fic, likely to get dark within the first five chappies.
2. Entropy, eighteen votes. Should answer some readers' burning questions, and perhaps provide a strong framework for a third inclusion.
3. Sepulchral, fifteen votes. From Al's perspective. Will probably begin before book one or during book three. We'll see how it work from there.
4. Under Review, thirteen votes. Begins pre-series, will likely move into Naruto. Follows the Nine-Tails' life and development as a character.
5. Broken, ten votes. Now, I'm curious: how many of you thought this might be another Ed-centric fic? 'Cause it's not. It's actually about Havoc.
6. Glamour, nine votes. If I recall correctly, this one was about Falman. I don't think this one needs much more explanation, either.
7. Paranormal, eight votes. Takes place during and after MM. This one was supposed to follow Riza, but might also work for Izumi.
8. Reversal, seven votes. Pretty much takes the storyline of FMA... and rips it to shreds. Currently undergoing unexpected plot changes.
9. Detriment, seven votes. Dedicated to the lack of FMA/House fics.
10. Phoenix, seven votes. Will focus on the Agent of the Shinigami arc.
11. Forever Young, six votes. Based off a few lines from Mikkeneko's one-shot Short. You'll find the inspiration pretty quickly.
12. These Legs Were Made To Walk, six votes. Havoc's POV after being released from the hospital, up to the end of the anime.
13. Twelfth Division, five votes. I will most definitely change the title. The plot is also under work.
14. Without You, five votes. Supposed to be a complex work that questions human reasoning and relationships. I doubt that's gonna happen.
15. Artificial, five votes. Read the summary. Under work.
16. Into the Gloom, four votes. Because almost every FMA/LoZ crossover is the same.
17. Revolution, four votes. Will probably never be written due to a lack of plot. Intended to follow Fuery.
18. Setting the Record Straight, four votes. Now titled 'How to Be a Dragon'.
19. Guardian, four votes. A kind of tribute to sama-chan's Shinjitsu no ō, although I doubt this will ever match up to it.
20. Shadows and Secrets, three votes. Response to Saggitarius11's challenge.
21. Priorities, three votes. Because Zekrom and Reshiram are amazing, and Zekrom looks nothing like the Truth.
22. Rise From the Ashes, two votes. My previous AD:JL fics (in my opinion) were terrible, so this was to make up for them. (Really, what the hell was I thinking?)
23. Descent Into Hell, two votes. The concept is interesting. Don't deny it.
24. 1,000 Reasons, two votes. 1,000 chapters, each with 1,000 words. Because I wanted to prove to my brother that writing 1 million words was possible.
25. Secrets, one vote. Because the Darkness fandom needs more love. And I simply like to kill people off, whether it be through fics or games.
26. Gronkle, Timberjack, Nadder, one vote. Based off a line I read in an HTTYD fic. Of course I forgot the title.
