Book II of my overall Mass Effect novelization. Having been pulled from her duty station on Luna, Commander Jane Shepard is drafted aboard the SSV Normandy SR1 for a mission that was supposed to be an easy covert pick up on the surface of Eden Prime. But what she finds on the surface will not only change her life, but the lives of everyone in the galaxy.

"I'm going to fight like hell for the chance to hold you again." What happens after the Crucible is fired. Will Shepard and Kaidan survive, and will they see each other again? The road to a happy ending is rarely without bumps, twists, and turns. A post-game Mass Effect 3 epilogue.

How can an ordinary life of an ordinary colony kid turn upside down within a few hours? Starting shortly before the attack on Mindoir and continuing through the games. Currently in a middle of ME3 (the Normandy's grounded after the failed Cerberus coup, and we're in for some downtime for Shepard and her crew). Rated M for violence, cursing...you can imagine.

Thrown back together when the Reapers attack, Shepard and Kaidan are still very much in love, but they struggle to reconnect and bridge the distance that has grown between them. Shepard is recovering in Vancouver after the battle in London and the defeat of the Reapers. Part of her recovery is the assignment by her therapist to find a way to come to terms with everything that's happened. Written in first person POV. AU ending.

After Horizon, Joker's had enough of the sulking on board, so he decides to do something about it. It's just too bad for Cerberus that "doing something" means dumping Shepard and Kaidan alone on a dangerous planet to hash out their problems, a planet that one member of the crew is already intimately familiar with. Rated M, mostly for later situations and a whole lot of profanity.

The path to Ilos is long. This leaves plenty of time for Shepard to decide how far she's willing to go, and how many rules she is willing to break. Rated T for slight language, but that is subject to change.

"I'm not her," Shepard whispers apologetically, breaking Garrus' heart all over again. "I wish I could be the person that you loved, but she died on the Citadel three years ago." The mystery of Shepard's return will throw Kaidan and Garrus' world upside-down.

Post Mass Effect 3: The Reapers are gone but the battle isn't over for Shepard or Kaidan. As Kaidan tries to bring the Normandy home he uncovers new enemies and struggle against his own demons, believing Shepard was destroyed with the Citadel. Shepard battles against her own body as she tries to recover from her injuries.

So what is this? A randon posting from a series I shelved? Well, yes. It is. I realised that I have not posted anything recently because life - in it's ever turbulent fashion - decided to throw some spanners into my smooth operation and I am delayed. So I thought I would share this with you while I complete the work on the next chapter of Mass Effect 2.

This is my version of why Alliance Command might have asked that of her, and the reaction from various interested parties.

This is my version of life on the Normandy between missions. Spoilers abound! Primary focus is on the relationship between Shepard and Kaidan.

One Month after the destruction of the Normandy SR1, Kaidan is still trying to come to terms with the death of Shepard. Sat lost in his grief in an empty apartment, he receives a visit from Anderson, who holds a small wooden box and instructions to deliver it to Kaidan by hand.
