This is a Sub-Zero origins story that intertwines elements from the games and the TV shows. It's about how the younger Sub-Zero finds a path independent of his brother's, and how he comes to fight for Raiden and the forces of good.

A doll displays no emotion, no will, no independence. It is simply controlled by its user. This may describe Rei Ayanami's appearance, but there is so much more. She feels emotion but knows nothing about expressing it. A strong bond changes that greatly.
