Author has written 33 stories for Rurouni Kenshin, Victorian Romance Emma, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club, Monster, Final Fantasy X, Dragonlance, Captain America, and Avengers. The only fanwork I've ever "published" on FFnet has been for anime/manga series, although I also used to drabble for DragonLance and The X-Files (a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away). I've enjoyed several anime/manga series: Honey and Clover, Kareshi-Kanojo no Jijyo, Paradise Kiss, Ai Yori Aoshi, Fushigi Yuugi, and Bleach, among others. I don't know why, though, but only four so far have affected me enough to produce anything: Ouran High School Host Club, Victorian Romance Emma, Fullmetal Alchemist, and most notably Rurouni Kenshin. The FMA bug bit hard enough for several oneshots before school took over this year; and currently, just as soon as I get a break from school, I'd love to do more for Ouran. I'm most used to writing character sketches, angst, drama, and romance--I've always been awfully fascinated by psychology--but I would love to pull off a decent plot-based humor fic, for once. Sigh. Favorite pairings (I rarely do genfic): Sanosuke/Megumi, Aoshi/Megumi, and Kaoru/Kenshin from RuroKen, William/Emma from VRE, Tamaki/Haruhi and Tamaki/Kyouya from Ouran, and Elricest from FMA, with a few side trips to Ed/Winry (and even Ed/Roy, which surprised me as much as anyone). The "homepage" link goes to my writing LJ. There's practically zero fic there that isn't here--except for some Elricesty FMA short fics that are (cough) too explicit to post on FFnet without risking my neck. Among the things I love most about writing online fanfiction is when readers share with me their own personal experiences and how, in some way or other, my humble scrabbles have managed to touch them. When I know that people are reading--and I mean this in the utmost honesty--and are somehow finding themselves in what I've produced, and that even though we may lie on opposite sides of the planet, it gives me a wonderful rush. I'm no Pulitzer winner, but if I can help people in any way with my scribbling, I shall rest content.Ü To all who have come this way and stopped at least a few moments... Arigatou gozaimashita! (19 October 2006) The Ouran muse, meanwhile, has managed to squeeze into my procrastinatory schedule and gotten out a oneshot. I hope it pleases. There's also a KyouyaxTamaki bunny gnawing on my brain, but it will have to wait a little more before I can feed it something more substantial. (06 January 2006) Whoa. Am extremely, stupidly, blushingly happily surprised to say that my little "Mune no Monogatari" got up to Runner-Up place for Romance/WAFF at the 2003-2004 Rurouni Kenshin Readers' Choice Awards. I can't really say anything nearly enough, but definitely, to all those who read and voted, you have my undying gratitude! I hope this means many great things ahead, especially for Meg-Aoshi fics...! |
