Author has written 8 stories for Merlin, Flash, Star Wars, Fairy Tail, Batman, StarTrek: The Next Generation, Kuroshitsuji, and Frozen. Hey everyone! I'm a gamer, geek, and girl. I blog, dance, and even write a little as well. Writing is a way for me to relax after a stressful day, and I love it. I dance three days a week, two hours a day. I do classical Russian ballet, and I've dabbled in jazz, tap, and musical theatre as well. I also enjoy stage work. I am currently in college, which makes this my brain-dump after hours of college writing. English majors for the win! :) Just a few favorites and questions to give a general overview of me: Favorite colors? Pink and brown. Favorite food? Spaghetti. Favorite music group? The Piano Guys, or maybe Owl City. I'm also rather a fan of Josh Woodward and Collabro. How long have you been dancing? 10 years. How long have you been writing? Since I could write. Just little stories here and there, nothing serious until my early teens. Then I began formulating a series of stories called the Aleria Trilogy. Long story short, many years later and I'm still thinking them through (not typical, just a project I never got back to). :) I didn't hear the term "fan fiction" until a few years ago. I'd been creating stories based on my favorite fandoms for years, never realizing what they were. Now, I'm posting a few. Favorite books? Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Ranger's Apprentice, and Anne of Green Gables. Favorite superhero? I can't pick just one. I like lots of superheros. It also depends on if it's DC or Marvel. For Marvel, it's Captain America and Iron Man. For DC, it's Batman and The Flash (Wally West, please! I like Barry too, but I prefer Wally.) We could probably throw Black Canary (DC) and Black Widow (Marvel) in there as well. If I have to pick just one from each, I'll take Captain America and The Flash. Favorite movie? I think probably The Princess Bride or Star Wars Episode 5. Favorite TV show? Doctor Who. No question about it. Favorite fandom to write for? Probably Doctor Who or DC. The alternate timeline/multiverses established in those universes allow for some definite originality. A short list of the major OCs I may or may not use in future stories. They're all still in development. The joys of creating your own characters! Jessica Parker/The Shadow Average height, brown eyes/hair. She's the orphaned daughter of two successful business owners. She fights crime by night (or day) as The Shadow. She has no superpowers, just a lot of training and the ability to get in almost anywhere unnoticed. Catchphrase? Check. "You can't hide from your shadow." She has a no-kill policy, even though she uses dual daggers. She's also a bit snarky as The Shadow. Her civilian identity is a lot more polite, being a business CEO herself. If Trisha is a factor in the timeline/universe (and this is the main universe), Jessica is around twenty-three at the beginning of her career, and mostly self-trained. (AU: She was trained as a very young super-spy, but became a little bitter after the loss of her super-spy partner. Fifteen at loss of partner, sixteen at beginning of superhero career.) She's also got the evil twin. Cliche? Yes, but it was worth it. (DC Online gives her advanced acrobatics - think Spiderman, minus the webs. Also, in recent writings and thoughts, I feel like she's able to literally turn into a shadow, and able to "jump" from shadow to shadow, using personal shadows to briefly connect with other individuals. That may be a future character arc, I think.) Melyana Lilly Supervillains don't need secret identities. (They do, however, need awesome names.) Jessica's twin in name only, Melyana has bright red hair with yellow/orange streaks and bright green eyes - all due to her magical ability and chemical exposure. She can also fly. She's evil, with very few qualms, if any. Twenty-four at beginning of supervillany (unless AU, then she's sixteen). She was one of the first people exposed to the chemicals I use as my super-power catalyst. (If DC Online, powers from Brainiac's exobytes.) Trisha Arnold/Light Streak/Luciem Raie A police detective who, after contact with some unusual chemicals, (no, not a Flash backstory, try again later...) develops super speed and the ability to bend light. Blond hair, blue eyes. Tends to be a little arrogant, argumentative, and stubborn at times. Twenty-seven at beginning of superhero career. (If DC Online - she develops the powers from Brainiac's exobytes.) Peren Thomas One of the group known as the "Travelers", Peren has the ability to jump to different worlds, times, places, and universes. However, she was one of the few who was not found before her abilities manifested, making her a rogue element in the eyes of the other Travelers. She also doesn't have full control over her abilities - jumps tend to be a little random and (mostly) uncontrollable. She often has a difficult time returning to her own time, world, and universe as well. (Probably for the best.) Black hair, grey eyes. She's rather insecure - neither of her parents were around growing up (not sure what happened to them yet... hmm) and her older brother was killed somehow. Fifteen years old when powers manifest. (Peren is a common OC for me, besides Jessica and Ariana. Since she has those lovely traveling abilities, she can grow over the course of several stories. She has her own "prime" universe to separate her from the other OCs. I've used her in some DC/Marvel stuff - she gains teleportation, telekinesis, and invisibility while in those universes.) Riley Bates Jessica's granddaughter - don't think I've ever used her for anything except Batman Beyond stuff. She's the Shadowess of that era. Black hair, green eyes. Tends toward overconfidence and occasional recklessness. Fifteen at beginning of career. And finally, last, but not least... Ariana Julian St. Clair (I'm blaming the name on a much younger me!) Total geek girl - she watches a ridiculous amount of TV, reads comic books, real books, watches movies, and generally comes across as weird. However, she is fairly smart - if a little insecure about her abilities. While not a genius, she has a quick mind. Blond hair, brown eyes. Seventeen years old. Favorite Quotes: "There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age." - Sophia Loren "If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced." - Vincent Van Gogh
