15 years on fanfiction.net in April 2016. 15 very long and rewarding and amazing and unbelievable years. Thank you fanfiction.net for getting me through some of my lowest lows and giving me some of my highest highs! Always.

I've always been an avid fanfic reader but for the first time, I've actually finished a story! Part of me wishes I had kept my old stories on here just for kicks (maybe a 'hide from public feature would have been good back then') but they were legitimately terrible.

It is weird to finally be a contributor and not just a consumer. I'm excited to see new HP stories posted all the time and hope this isn't my only addition!

A little about me

I've really only ever been a HP fangirl (excluding my much earlier years as a huge teeny bopper, swooning over the Backstreet Boys) and after many, many years I haven't lost the love and passion for the HP world. I don't know if I'll ever get into the newer stuff (Cursed Child or Fantastic Beasts) but it is great to see that the community is still going. I'm excited to see how the new works are re-inspiring fanfic writers and can't wait for more.

I'm in my late twenties (HP generation!) and living abroad even though I'm originally from the US (as is likely obvious from my spelling choices in my writing). I'm a human rights advocate and promoter of all the virtues espoused by the Harry Potter books (equality, love, maybe add a dash of forgiveness and a heap of activism).
