So...yeah. This be mah profile.

Erm...so about my fanfiction...I haven't written for a while. O_oll Like, a couple years, to be exact. And there's a few reasons for this.

1. Life has been so busy. For those of you who don't have ADD or remember high school...it's tough to balance your time.

2. After going back and rereading some of my old work, so that I had an idea of where I wanted to take my fics, I was sort of shell-shocked by how outrageously terrible my writing was. Admittedly, it's gotten much better, but I'm still lacking in my confidence to write well. I've read so many well-written fics on here, and while I strive to grow better, my fear of being so awful has hindered my progress more than I'd like to admit.

3. My fandoms have changed a lot. After I finished reading Fruits Basket, I...guess I sort of lost my zeal for writing fics about it. The same goes for Gravitation (although I still eagerly read each new chapter of the EX series when it's published in English). My past fandoms will always hold a special place in my heart, but my tastes HAVE changed, and will continue to do so.

4. My rabid fangirlishness, while not completely tamed, has cooled off somewhat. I'm still an avid fangirl of anime, manga, video games, and some books, but after years of being a fangirl, I've matured somewhat. (What's this you say? A mature fangirl? I know, hard to believe...and I still have plenty of growing up to do.)

To those who have left me helpful and encouraging reviews in the past: Thank you so much for your kind words and your tips to improve. I hope to someday be the type of fanfiction author that you can all be proud of. I'm so lucky to have had all your support in the past, and if you're willing to stick with me, I'll be grateful in the future as well.
